For those who aren't already aware, Jared (better known to a lot of you as Jaggeroth/Jerry Nate) is in the hospital. He went in Tuesday with what they thought was Bronchitis and it suddenly got worse. He stopped breathing and they put him on a ventilator and my understanding is that he's in a medically induced coma. I've been talking with someone on his end (I'm pretty certain it's his brother) who has been keeping me updated. They said just recently that he's starting to turn things around for the better though, which is pretty much the first good news I've heard since it started. With the situation as it is, however, this is really all that I know. I'll try to keep you guys updated as best as I can.

They took Jared off sedation for a while yesterday and he tried opening his eyes, but got too irritated and so they had to put him back on it. It's a big step in the right direction though and they think they know what he has, so it definitely sounds like he will make a full recovery and be back here before we know it.

He's still in critical condition, so he's not in the clear yet. We just have to stay hopeful though.

He's holding steady and stable, so it's looking a lot better. They have him in something called a Rotoprone bed for the next week and a half though, so it'll still be a while before he's up and at'em.
