I'm kinda in the same boat as Ian here.. I've been looking at this thread off and on all day trying to figure out what to say and what to do.
Jared was a good friend of mine, we chatted on the Cbox any chance we got, even texted and talked on the phone quite a bit. I'm going to miss his writing in EVPW as well as his friendship outside of EVPW. Jared was a good guy, a good friend and as Despie said, simply Solid.
My religion tells me that he'll be back in this world soon or he's waiting for me somewhere else. All I know is I'm going to miss him a great deal and EVPW is going to suffer the loss as much as the rest of us do.
If anyone wants to talk about anything, I'll be around as much as I can and I'll try and be on Skype as much as I can.

And Despie is right, what happened does kinda make you realize how short life really is and it makes you wonder what you've been doing with your life and what you should do differently.

That sucks, looks like the what was supposed to be the new Circus will have to walk to our matches with either a casket or a urn with ashes...though on a serious note that does suck big balls.

Wow, this is crazy. Jared and eye never really saw eye-to-eye for as long as I could remember RPing, I'm glad we put that past us since I rejoined. I got to see what a great guy he actually is in these passing months. RIP Jared!

Guys, Jared poured his heart and soul into this fed - I think we should name a tribute championship after him. Thoughts?

Bar the "many years you've been in my life" (for myself at least) this seems fitting. Plus one of the last things I remember is discussing black metal and doom metal bands with Jared.

This... I really can't believe this, to be honest. I came in to check the fed after long, only to find out that Jared is no more... I'm not sure what to say really. This kinda struck me off guard, and I can only remember of the amazing times we had over the years - all through GHW, VWE and here... it was quite a journey together, and it seems surreal that he's no more. I.. I really don't know what to say, but wherever he is right now, I hope he's better and off his pain. I hope his soul rest in peace.

I haven't been here for quite some time, but I just got the chance to come on and check into everything. Then I saw this, and I really don't know how I should react. Jared was truly a great friend, and was a huge part in teaching me how to roleplay. I don't think I could have done remotely as well as I did (even if I was not very good) if it wasn't for what he did for me. I know I'm late on commenting on this, but either way Rest in Peace my friend.
