Walking down the corridors, past several technicians, material and other doors, the camera stops in front of one door. the small metal plate on the door shows 'Emblem'. The camera zooms in on this plate, and after a second, a hand, probably the camera man's hand, knocks on the door. Sounding like a background, some harsh music seems to be on, but after a few seconds, the cameraman hears a faint 'click', and the door opens. the music loudened in that faint second, and Emblem is looking straight at the camera.
Emblem nods, then turns around, goes on his knees, turning the overall music button down, turning down the DragonForce he was listening. One second later, Emblem decides to turns it off, pressing one button, and after this, Emblem stands up again.
Emblem: Sorry for that, please come in.
The camera seems to nod, as Emblem gestures it to come inside. the overly known locker room of Emblem, tidy as always, seems to pose for the camera, as everything seems to radiate with a comfortable aura. Emblem asks if the man wants anything to drink, but the man doesn't want anything, while Emblem walks over at the fridge, and grabs some Lipton Ice Tea. Opening the can, Emblem takes a sip, then places the can on top of the small fridge. The cameraman takes a seat, while Emblem sits down on the couch next to the camera. the camera zooms in on Emblem, and for some reason, he doesn't look like himself. Emblem's hair is tied in his normal ponytail, but he isn't dressed in either his suit, his wrestling gear, or in the sweater he sometimes wears.
Emblem is dressed in a normal dark jeans pants, a white shirt, and short sleeved black blouse, with some white tribal stripes around it, complementing his white hair.
Emblem: Do you know why I asked you to come here?
The camera seems to nod a 'No', and Emblem looks at the camera. His eyes seem to show a great fatigue, as if all his energy has already been drained, and he should be sleeping.
Emblem: Then I'll explain. At From The Ashes, I was at the Korakuen Hall. My personal brainwave became a promo with five stars studded in it's description. I personally felt relieved afterwards, knowing my thoughts were brought out. Now, I feel like repeating that. I shall try to administer another promotion, although I don't think I can do that.
Emblem: It's quite simple this time. I am, or at least I think I am, a good guy, a buddy, a matey, a guy you can trust. I had Amanda on my ESP show. Great. BUT, she was bothered. She was being blackmailed. I felt a need to help her, as I normally do. I did, and we all knew the results. It turned out to be her husband, Hayden, that was manipulating things behind the screen. I personally felt a burning hatred towards the guy, and I am known for not keeping that inside. At least, I think. Amanda is a fine lady, as she wanted to solve things personally, fighting Hayden one on one.
Guess what, he started to blackmail me, and I will never forgive him for that. This went against the essence of my being, or Embleminity as I called it, just after I took the fight to Hayden. I can't hurt a lady, I made that promise when I was a child, and I will keep it forever. Men that punch women are nothing more then wimps.
But what bothers me most...
Emblem stands up from his couch, and starts to walk around his own locker room. Using his hands as an additional and accentual way of explaining, Emblem talks on.
Emblem: ...I might be...you know...I might never wrestle again. And why? Because I am a buddy, a matey, a good guy. This is the part that always repeats himself, the good have to suffer from the bad. It has always been that way, and will probably always be. Even guys like me, who thought they had every thing under control.
Emblem walks over at his prize cabinet, then looks at his New Age belt, which was laying on his bed.
Emblem: I might have to give that beautiful piece of gold back. the gold that I fought for, hell, I created that belt. T'was a gift for Dave, remember? But in the end, I was the one owning it.
Emblem turns around, and the camera follows him, as he walks back to the fridge, taking another sip of the Ice Tea. Emblem seems to enjoy it for a split second, but his face turns back into his serious look.
Emblem: I might never wrestle again. And what worries me even more, is that it was all because of one prick who found my deepest secret, and used it against me. My manners stop me in being angry at him for that, because I did it myself. I was over-eager to fight, to wrestle, to entertain. To become the fullest entity that I am now. He branded it as frauding, and that was what hurted me most. I never saw it that way. I saw it as determination.
Fraud..Never thought that I frauded anything. Always thought I did everything by the book. Guess there is some evil, or at least, less-good in everyone, and everyone makes mistakes. Yet, why now? Why? I seem to be better then ever Damnit!
Emblem, with a look of anger on his face, cracks his knuckles, but he doesn't do anything that looks more violent. Emblem takes a deep breath, and deftly grabs the can of IceTea, drinking it until there it's empty.
Emblem: It's unfair. The small talk Hayden tells everyone, that I fight for myself, not others, is most untrue. That doesn't even concern me, but this...It's just disturbing. I am not living now, I am being lived. My last few days have been a torment. I'm tired as hell, and even thought I have lots of people that support me...I feel terribly lonely.
Emblem looks straight at the camera, before walking to his desk, and his stereo system.
Emblem: There are more reasons why I listen this music, and with a volume like you just heard. I like the music, and it fills the void of silence, just for a while. Next to that, I feel lonely, because I have Cosmos, and Amanda supporting me, but I can't just walk to them, makes me feel weak. Again, my personality is in the way. Those two have told me that they are on my side, and that should suffice. Should...
Emblem sits back on the same spot he was sitting on, looking at the cameraman and the camera.
Emblem: GHW still hasn't officially decided what to do with me. Waiting makes me feel terrible, but I have no idea what could happen. I might even end up in jail, or something. For things that aren't too bad, are they?
But the loneliness cuts through me body like a thousand swords, and the worst thing is that it is all because of me. I couldn't negate Amanda, I couldn't hit her. I would have suffered this for a thousand times if it were for a friend, but hell, I did it myself this time. I did it...
Emblem bows his head for a second, seeming to instantly fall asleep, but after five seconds, he raises it back up, opening his eyes slowly. Emblem seems to conclude his speech now.
Emblem: And even amidst all of these terrible feelings, there is one certainty, one spark of light in the darkness.
Emblem looks straight at the camera...
I will never back down. They will have to go over my dead body to grab my title, and I will do everything to get back into that ring, and there is no Hayden that will stop me from doing this. Hell, I bet that when I see him in a bar or anything..that there will be no Hayden when I leave. I will never cower in fear in this darkness, for I am the light, I am..The Emblem.
The camera gets off the couch, closing in on Emblem's tired but determined face, and after a moment, Emblem walks to the door, and opens it for the man. the camera moves out, while Emblem nods for the man, closing his door after him. The camera turns away, but stops, as he hears a sound...Dragonforce blurs on the background. Emblem has turned the sound on again....
