The fan in general love him and are always excited to see him wrestle. However, there are those who criticize him for his wrestling style, saying he doesn't have talent, where he got the "The Make-Shift Wrestler".

Matt typically wears simple black cargo shorts with matching black wrestling boots. He also sports either his newest t-shirt or shirt with his favorite band on it, either way it's usually taken off after he comes to the ring and he fights in a beater.
Gimmick:
A ruthless, risk taker with very sloppy wrestling technique. He's aware of his inability to wrestle with some of the top competitors which is why he's become so successful in Death Matches.
Fighting Style:
A spectacular hardcore wrestler, loves bending the rules to win matches. His technical wrestling is just good enough for him get by at times.
