The crowd erupt in boos as they hear this theme and at the 58 second mark of the song, the Ben Arnold of Eagle Vision makes his presence felt by entering the scene with an 'EVPW Sucks' T-Shirt. Dow Jones stares out at the screaming fans and shakes his head in disgust, before walking down the ramp, ignoring the front row fans who try and give him a few punches before he can reach the squared circle. A 'You suck' chant breaks out and it follows DJ until he reaches the ring apron, where Dow slides into the squared circle.
This match is a Money in the Bag ladder match. Introducing first, from Boston, Massachussetts, weighing in at 225lbs, he is The Hardcore Icon, Dow Jones.
As expected, the crowd begin to throw objects, causing Dow to simply smirk and lean against the turnbuckle, whipping his provocative shirt off and throwing it into the crowd, only for it to be thrown back at him. Dow tries again with the same result, forcing the Hardcore Icon to simply drop it to the concrete outside of the squared circle.
A very hostile reaction from our fans for Dow Jones, but that's probably because he hates them back. If you don't like it here, go away.
But we need him, Jimmy. He's a great athlete, which he proved when he defeated Krylon at Madhouse in that brutal No-DQ match.
Unfortunately, Jones can back up all his talk and he is a very impressive competitor, but tonight he's facing a very motivated Bryan Hawk for the lead position of The Company.
TBC- Hawk. Good to finally get in the ring with you, Despy.

As soon as the shrill clang of the ring bell begins to reverberate around the arena, both competitors start to circle each other, the time for talk now over. Jones and Hawk circle for a few seconds and by mutual thought, both lurch forward and begin a tie-up, a rare technical moment in a Hardcore match like a Ladder match. Despite his height and weight disadvantage, Dow fights like an animal and resists the Prize-Fighter, both men remaining locked in the centre of the squared circle, desperately trying to gain an early advantage over the other. Seeing the futility of their ways, both athletes let go of their opponent and stare at each other, sharing a few more verbal exchanges, before Hawk steps forward and gets into the face of the Bostonian. Dow's tolerance dissapears and DJ gives the cocky youngster a quick slap across the mouth, startling The King of the Ring and eliciting major league boos from the partisan crowd. Not wanting to let up, Jones runs at Hawk and throws a right hand, sending Bryan's head backwards with the pure impact, following up with two more rights that put the Predator of the Skies on the ropes. Jones grabs Hawk's left arm and tries to whip him to the opposite wires, only for the 220 pounder to spin through and instead whip Dow into the aforementioned ropes, ducking down for an attempted Backdrop as the Hardcore Icon hits the three implements.
Using all of his experience, Dow sees the Backdrop before Hawk's even attempted it and has already thought of a counter, cradling the head of his opponent and dropping back-first to the mat upon return from the ropes, spiking the Brooklyn Hammers head to the mat. Some less biased segments of the crowd applaud the action, but most give Dow all the heat they can, but with his focus on the win, DJ ignores them. Jones decides that the best plan of action is to win this match early, so he slides to the outside and picks up one of many ladders circling the ring, before sliding it into the ring and picking it up again as he sees Hawk begin to get to his feet, using the ropes for a little bit of added leverage. Like a pantomime, the fans try to warn The Company poster boy of the impending danger behind him, but as he groggily turns to face his opponent, the Hardcore Icon lives up to his moniker and rams the ladder into Hawk's sternum, dragging the Prize-Fighter to his knees. Not content with that, Jones lifts the ladder higher into the air and drags it down across the Brooklynite's back, flooring the youngster.
Dow's starting this match at a ferocious pace, which is probably the right choice given Hawk's stamina..
Something you'd know about, Ray.
Seeing an opportunity to end the match quickly, Dow kicks the King of the Ring out of the way and positions the ladder underneath the bag that both men aspire to reach, the crowd urging their favourite for this contest to reach his feet and stop the Bostonian. Dow begins his ascent once satisfied with the situation and the positioning of the ladder and manages to get three quarters of the way up the ladder before reaching for the title, only to realise he's slightly too far away. In the time it takes for DJ to register this and take a few more steps up the ladder rungs, Hawk is back to his feet, albeit slightly dazed, the Brooklynite halting the Boston Brawler's climb with a clubbing blow to the back. Bryan then steps onto the second rung of the ladder to make sure he can fully reach his opponent, before wrapping his arms around the back and waist of Jones. Knowing what's coming, the EVPW audience start to voice their happiness in the forms of cheers, Hawk not taking his eyes of Jones or playing to the crowd, instead throwing himself backwards and dragging the Boston Brawler down to the canvas with him, DJ's head smacking onto the cold, hard ring mat and folding underneath his legs, which have continued to move backwards under the momentum of the move.
Woah, what a German Suplex! Hawk really wants to win this Ladder match, that's for sure.
One move won't win him the match, though. I have faith in Dow to recover from this set back.
As Dow's body slowly unfolds itself, The Predator of the Skies stares up at the money bag and smiles, knowing that the match could be won here and now. However, he turns his head right and sees the near lifeless body of his fellow Company member and Imperial title contender and knowing that the match is in his control, he decides that a few more minutes of punishment for Dow can't be a bad thing. Having come to this conclusion, the Prize-Fighter walks over to the Hardcore Warrior and drags Dow to his knees, before cradling his head with his left hand and lifting the Boston Brawler to his feet, albeit doubled over. The Fists of Satan puts his own head underneath Dow's limp left arm and grabs DJ's tights with his free right arm, taking a second to brace himself before lifting the Bostonian into the air and keeping Jones there to the cheers of the crowd, showing off his strength and athletic prowess. After the Predator of the Skies has held Dow in the air for 5 seconds, Hawk drops backwards to the ground and throws DJ behind him, Jones hitting the mat spine-first with a crunch.
Following the Stall Suplex, Hawk is back on his feet in a flash and in a single motion, The Hawk of New York is the one to live up to his moniker and he throws his arms wide like the aforementioned critter, garnering a chorus of cheers from the fans in attendance. Bryan looks down at the man who might have bitten off more than he can chew and smiles, before running at the ropes opposite the body of Jones, leaping onto the middle rope, pushing the wire past it's point of no return and back-flipping, aiming to crush DJ's sternumunder his. However, Dow has Hawk scouted and raises his knees, The King of the Ring not even seeing the small movement and jarring his stomach on the kneecaps of the Hardcore Warrior, failing the Lionsault attempt. Hawk grabs his back in a vain attempt to alleviate the pain as Dow slowly begins to regain his energy and bring his winded body some much needed air.
Both men are down and this is a pivotal point in the match-up. Who will capitalise on this opening?
I don't think that Hawk is in any condition to get back to his feet before Dow.
Both competitors stay on the canvas for 10 seconds, until Dow brings himself onto his knees and slowly regains his verticality by using the nearest set of ropes. The Hardcore Icon looks backwards and sees the Sky Predator also nine tenths from regaining uprightness, so in a snap judgement, Dow runs at Hawk and leaps into the air, aiming both feet at the Brooklynite's chest, the impact of the Dropkick sending a shocked Hawk backwards and over the top rope to the concrete outside, where he hits the ground and tumbles over to the security barricade. However, Hawk has no time to recover after stumbling to his feet as he turns back to face Dow, only to see the Million Dollar Massachussan sprint at the ropes seperating the two athletes and leap through the second rope, his momentum and weight taking The Hawk of New York off his feet as they collide in mid-air. Satans Favourite Son is sent back-first into the barricade, while Dow lands badly on his knee and immediately recoils in pain, grabbing his knee.
Wait a minute, Dow's hurt his knee. His inexperience in the big leagues may have just cost him here.
Maybe he should just have climbed the ladder when he had the chance. How can you win if you can't climb the ladder?
TBC- Hawk
