Lizzie Morna stands in the middle of the ring. She lifts the mic to her mouth as the bell sounds to signal the next match to begin.
Lizzie: The following contest is for the EVPW United Glory Championships!
The lights go out as an eerie organ begins to play, signalling the entrance of the Shadow Warriors as "Crimson Flames" picks up into a heavy rock beat.
Lizzie: Coming to the ring first, the challengers. From Iga, Japan. At a combined weight of four hundred and fifty pounds. "The Shadow Ninja" Kiba Tanahashi and "The Rogue Ninja" Chris Pyro. They are Kuro Kage!
Pyro and Kiba come out of the cutrains as the arena lights up in a haunting crimson red light. Pyro is wearing his usual ninja garb, complete with Wolf face mask design. The scar over his left eye identifying the cold hearted Rogue. Kiba is also wearing his ninja garb, though his mask is plain. Both men have left their katanas in the back, not willing to risk The Company interfereing, even though Jenkinson is in their pocket.
Pate: These two are are dangerous adversaries for everyone here in EVPW. Pyro's clan has a hold over one of the Company members, which is why they were thrown into this match. We better hope that Kuro Kage never gain full control over the Company otherwise we are all doomed.
White: One can only hope.
Kuro Kage reach the ring with Pyro leaping swiftly onto the apron while Kiba takes the stairs. They both walk to the far side of the ring awaiting the arrival of Cut Squad and Mosh Crew.

The entrance theme of the Kuro Kage dies and the reaction of the audience becomes prominent, who are jeering the Japanese duo. As if there were forced to gulp down the worst of the poison, the challengers eyes the crowd with a bitter face, hating how they are being treated. But just then, the speakers go alive again – this time with the famous song of the Queen, covered by Robbie Williams, We are the Champions. The crowd, knowing what to expect, throws in a flurry of assorted reactions – cheers for the Hardcore Prince, hatred for the Ladder Queen.
I paid my dues Time after time I've done my sentence But committed no crime And bad mistakes I've made a few I've had my share of sand Kicked in my face But I've come through
*BOOM*
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIEND!
With a loud bang, fireworks of all sorts fire from the top of the ramp, setting a nice display of pyrotechnics for the fans. The smoke following the sparkling display soon dissolves in the air and the duo of Kahlan Clarkson and Shawn Dreamer – collectively known as the Cut Squad – is spotted at the top of the ramp. Sporting his ever calm smile, Shawn stands right beside a pouting Kahlan, who simply doesn’t like the reaction of the crowd. The United Glory strap goes around the duo’s waist as they walk down the aisle, amidst the singing crowd, who are singing the chorus part of the song – We are the champions.
Lizzie Morna} And their opponents, from Newcastle, England, on the way to Jacksonville, FL, at a combined weight of 388 pounds, they are the CURRENT UNITED GLORY CHAMPIONS… Kahlan Clarkson and Shawn Dreamer, THE CUT SQUAD!
On their way down, Shawn and Kahlan finds a ladder standing right in front of them – one of the three weapons legal for the match-up. The Floridian shrugs his shoulder at the ladder and walks right under it, caring less of the proverbial bad-luck that may befall over them. The blue haired princess chuckles at the act of Shawn, but doesn’t follow his suite as she takes the path around it. Soon the duo reaches the end of the line and makes a charge for the ring, sliding under the bottom rope once they hit the ring apron.
Jimmy Pate} Here comes the champions, the Cut Squad! Love them or hate them, they have proved themselves time and time again, and they are probably the most consistent of the tag teams in professional wrestling right now.
Ray White} But then, it’s a threesome, Jimbo! Anything goes ‘cause it’s a *bleep*in’ TLC match! But whatever goes on, I guess the Company won’t be happy. All three of these teams haven’t been on their good side lately.
Pushing the ground around them, the duo rises to a vertical base before handing their straps to the middle aged official. The referee, getting a hold of the straps, hands them to a ringside crew, while the two teams in the ring engages in a stare down.

With the entry of the Mosh Crew completing the triangle, the referee calls for the bell, marking the official start of the bout. The chime of the bell resonates around the arena as the team eyes each other, trying to make out the best of the opposition before they wage war. But then, it seemed that a certain someone couldn’t bite his tongue for long; Mikey, the most inexperienced one, makes a charge at the Cut Squad’s corner, trying to catch at least one of the champions off-guard. The perception of the Apprentice of Sycho Sam was wrong, however; the Floridian was ready for any sort of incoming attacks. Shawn, pushing his partner aside to safety, bends over and beelines back at the Ace, catching the rookie in the middle with a hard shoulder tackle to the gut. The sudden counter sends the Protégé of Sycho Sam down to the ground, clutching his stomach while twisting and turning over the dusty canvas. The Jacksonville’s Finest, with an angry glare, eyes the mentor of the naïve rookie as Kahlan aligns herself beside him, taking stance to back her partner. Sam, letting out a frustrated sigh, shakes his head in disappointment while his partner-cum-rookie rolls out of the ring.
Seeing how the Cut Squad has their eyes glued onto the Psychotic One, the Kuro Kage decides that it’s their time to crash the party. Arms extended and leveled to average neck height, the Japanese duo beelines at the champions, trying to make the best out of the predicament. Shawn notices the incoming Katana-Slingers first, but it’s too late; the arm of Chris crashes against his larynx, toppling him down to the canvas. Though the clothesline from Pyro finds its mark, Kiba doesn’t share the same luck; he gets caught by the Ladder Queen, who quickly unloads a flurry of punches onto the Fang’s skull, fighting her way out. Tanahashi tries to retaliate, but fails to get the upper hand till his mentor comes in with the aid, joining the exchange of fists. The double team assault from the Kuro Kage completely drains the composure of the Newcastle Diva, and the pair from Nippon-Land laces their arms with that of Kahlan, throwing her to the ropes on the other side. Projected by the combined strength, the Cruiserweight Diva takes a lap around the ring before bouncing back, heading straight into the trap set by the opposition. Just as Clarkson draws near the mentor-protégé duo, the two leaps up in the air, sending their boots to crash against the jaw of the Ladder Queen. The stereo dropkick simply takes down Kahlan onto the canvas, head-first with a loud bang, and gets her to roll out of the ring, skull gripped tight.
“Kiba wants to be the United Glory champion once again and I must say that he and Pyro are doing a fair job out there. They rolled the dice perfectly and they just took out the champions now.”
“Well, I’ll be damned if the Kuro Kage doesn’t give us a live sex celebration if they win the title. Who knows, they might end up winning the AVN awards too!”
“Weren’t you asked to shut your mouth, Ray? I thought they gave you a better on-screen gimmick already!”
Proud of what they just did, the Rogue Ninja pats his rookie on the back, building his confidence up to max. The jubilation of the pair doesn’t last long though as the Pakistani Metalhead makes his presence felt, sending his forearm to crash against the back of the Ninja’s skull. The Canadian Martial Artist simply doesn’t see Sam coming, and falls for the attack, stumbling forward onto the ropes. With his mentor assaulted right before his eyes, Kiba quickly faces the Sycho Headbanger, trying to extract some revenge. But the veteran already eyed something as such; the Pakistani Immigrant quickly throws a balled fist between the eyes of Tanahashi, sending the Fang stumbling back. The Pro-Company Superstar follows up the attack with a whipping forearm to the former champion’s chest, sending him reeling back to the corner. The Shadow Ninja crosses his arms around his chest in pain, but can’t evade the follow-up offence from the King of Destruction; the relentless Karachi native sends another slashing chop against the ribcage of Kiba, painting the chest of the Iga native with a light coat of red.
Meanwhile, behind the eyes of the King of Destruction, the Rogue Ninja is observed to be fully recuperated from the cheap shot. The once resident of Canada shakes his head a little – brushing off the cobwebs – before heading up to Sam, trying to both extract revenge and free his partner. But then, as he is just an inch away from the South-Asian, the avenger appears out of the blue; Vandal, who has been out of the ring for a long interval, slides under the bottom rope with a steel chair and smashes it against the skull of Pyro, sending the thud to echo around the arena. The Katana-Slinger from the town Iga falls flat over the canvas as Mikey stands atop him with the chair welded within his grip, surrounded by jeers of all sorts.
“Never knew Mikey had his brain inside his stomach. Ever since the spear, the Ace of Spades looks all sensible, calmly-composed and strategized!”
“Brain inside stomach? You and your sick mind, Jimbo! I swear Mikey has his brain inside his *bleep*!”
“Watch your words, Ray! Your potty-mouth would simply tear apart our television deal!”
But then, taking out Pyro didn’t satisfy the fire within Vandal – he wanted to swing the chair more. He soon finds his next victim though, in the form of the Hardcore Prince, who is slowly hoisting up to a vertical base. Sprinting forth and drawing close to the stirring Floridian, the Ace of Spades drives the chair down at the spine of Dreamer producing a louder bang, flooring him once again. The second shot somewhat satisfies the Californian, and he slowly backs up, breathing hard, before stumbling onto a wall of flesh. Knowing how the best of the vigilantes attack from the rear, the Sacramento native quickly flips around and smashes the chair onto the dome of the unknown figure, with no remorse or second thought. But then, once Mikey spots the man he just took out, he goes completely speechless – the man he just took out turns out to be his own mentor, Sycho Sam! Flabbergasted fully, Vandal drops the chair aside and backs up cupping his mouth, unable to believe what he just did.
“OH MY GOD; MIKEY JUST TOOK OUT HIS OWN PARTNER!”
“Well, I say this was coming – Sam made a huge mistake bringing this kid as his partner for a match of such proportion. It’s a title match, Jimbo; even the best lose their nerve!”
“But still, why on earth would someone make a mistake like that? It’s like committing a deadly sin!”
“How many deadly sin have you committed, Jimmy?” *snickers*
Recuperated to the fullest, the Japanese Fang eyes the scenario around him – the only man standing in front of him is Mikey, who is mentally traumatized after making a huge blunder. Seeing this as an opening, the Shadow Ninja rips off the corner and side-steps up to Vandal, before connecting his right boot with the jaw of the Ace, performing a picture-perfect superkick. The young-blood from Sacramento falls back as the sole of Kiba collides with his lower jaw, much like a domino chip subjected to a minute force. But taking down the other half of the Mosh Crew doesn’t end the obstacle course for Kiba; the Technical Extremist is up and waiting for him. Gritting his teeth, the Japanese Fang darts Shawn, trying to keep the momentum alive. But Dreamer was well ready for him; he bends over as Tanahashi draws close and catapults the young Puroresu star over the top rope, using the huge weight advantage he got. The back body drop sets the cruiserweight frame of the Japanese Fang in air, before gravity does its part and pulls him down. But then, it’s not the concrete floor that waits for Tanahashi; the high-flying Asian goes straight through a table, breaking the Formica base from the middle into half. The mastermind behind the whole plan – Kahlan Clarkson – is seen to be standing right beside the debris, beaming with a huge smile. Splinters and chunks of wood pierce through the skin of Kiba as the Ninja scream out, unable to subdue the pain. But then, muffling away the scream of Tanahashi, the howl of Shawn is heard, instructing his partner outside.
“KAHLAN, GET THE—”
“THE TABLES, AYE!?”
The English Diva jumps up and down as she finishes Shawn’s words, thinking that she had got the answer right. But that wasn’t what the Hardcore Prince had in mind; he shakes his head in disapproval before shouting back – this time letting his idea out.
“WE ARE THE CUT SQUAD, DAMN IT! GET THE LADDERS!”
The crowd throws a flurry of cheers as Kahlan picks up a ladder from the side by its rungs and pushes it inside the ring, under the bottom rope.

Looking to take advantage of the situation by scoring a quick early victory, The Hardcore Prince hastily attempts to sets up the ladder that Kahlan had just slid in. As the Ladder Queen moves in a second ladder, Mikey Vandal – who was on the receiving end of a superkick moments ago – rolls out of the ring in order to compose himself and reorganize his thoughts. Still dazed and confused, the unlucky all-rounder does not realize that he is standing right next to Kahlan, who proceeds to deliver a series of stinging alternating left-right kicks to Mikey’s shin and thigh areas – disrupting his balance and making him drop to his knees. Meanwhile, inside the ring, The Hardcore Prince begins his ascension just as Sycho Sam and Chris Pyro push themselves up to a vertical base. Realizing that they would have to team up momentarily in order to halt Dreamer, the unlikely duo of Sam and Pyro pick up the extra ladder that Kahlan had just slid in, with Sam picking up the tail and Pyro the end part of the ladder. With the two now holding opposite ends of the ladder and looking to do some damage, they charge forth at Dreamer with the ladder as a battering ram. Dreamer had been gazing at the title for a second too long instead of climbing further upward and he pays dearly for his inability to capitalize on the situation when the ladder comes crashing on his back. The force with which the ladder had been thrusted at his back causes Dreamer to fall to the side while simultaneously causing the ladder he was standing on to lose its fragile balance and fall towards the ropes. As the ladder leans on the uppermost rope, directly outside of the ring is Kahlan who is now being brutalized by a series of right hand punches by Vandal. The force behind the punches increases progressively, with Mikey eventually causing the Newcastle resident to stagger backwards. With his mind set on re-arranging Kahlan’s facial features, the rookie all-rounder thrusts forward his left arm and catches a handful of The Special One’s blue hair in his open palm before pulling her towards him. As the cocky Californian continues to humiliate Kahlan, Chris Pyro decides to kill two birds with one stone. The Rogue Ninja ignores Sam and his relentless stomping of the Floridian and runs towards the ropes opposite to the one the ladder leans on, turning around and rebounding off to gain extra momentum. Without a moment’s hesitation, Pyro blitzes up the well-angled ladder and leaps off before reaching the end – executing a quick somersault in mid-air and landing with his back-first onto Kahlan and Mikey, forcing them onto the mat. The EVPW fans respond to senton bomb with a huge roar, but their collective eyes shift to the ring inside an instant when a fully recovered Tanahashi slides into the ring and darts towards the Hardcore Headbanger. Unfortunately for him, the veteran brawler is fully prepared. Sam glances back at the still leaning ladder, making sure that he is in the correct position for whatever scheme he has in mind. The King of Destruction drops to the canvas, intercepting Kiba’s charge by placing both feet between The Shadow Ninja’s ankle and shin, causing him to trip and fall face-first on the ladder. Sam gets back to his two feet immediately but is now in harm’s way as Dreamer propels forward a closed fist at The Hardcore Headbanger. Fortunately for Sam, he steps out of the line of fire and catches The Hardcore Prince off-guard by hooking his open arm with one of his own before quickly lifting him and flipping him forward onto Kiba – thus perfectly countering the punch with a hip toss. The ladder rattles as Shawn’s back connects with Tanahashi’s and the two end up falling back onto the canvas, assuming alternate sides of the ladder.
“What a chaotic match-up this has been so far and it looks like The Company’s latest recruits are in firm control.”
“You mean one half of them – the other half is in the midst of a three way brawl!”
Indeed, while Sam had been taking care of business inside the ring, his protégé was busy exchanging blows in a slugfest that had spilled its way over the barriers and into the crowd. The fact that his mentor was one of the most renowned brawlers in the sport ensured that Vandal would take both Pyro and Kahlan to the limit but the tables soon turn on him. Using their comparatively greater agility to their advantage, The Rogue Ninja and The Ladder Queen duck a double-armed clothesline that could have potentially taken off their heads. They flip the Californian around and whip him towards the barrier, as an apathetic Sam – oblivious to the plight of his young student – hauls up the ladder that was angled on the ropes for so long and nonchalantly throws it down onto Kiba and Shawn, as if to pacify them. As he approaches the other ladder with the intention of setting it up, Kahlan and Pyro nod at each other and bolt forth at The Pakistani Brawler’s protégé. Vandal does not have neither the time, or even any place to escape to when his assailants jump up sideways - using the momentum generated to increase the intensity of whatever move they have planned. Mikey’s eyeballs appear to inflate as he sees his foes raise their a knee each in mid-air and effectively cudgel both sides of his face. The sheer force of the impact aided by the fact that it was a dual assault, forces Vandal’s neck backwards – almost snapping it in the process. On the flip side, however, the end outcome of the double team move is not favorable for either Kahlan or The Rogue Ninja as they fall back-first, simultaneously, onto the rugged floor.
“That Busaiku Knee Kick did some heavy damage to Mikey Vandal, but it being a move more suitable for an in-ring environment, it took a lot out of Kahlan and Pyro as well!”
“Look! Sam’s climbing the ladder!”
Once again, the crowd’s attention shifts towards the action inside the squared circle as The King of Destruction finally sets his black doc marten’s boot on the first step of the ladder, after struggling to get its position right. The Hardcore Headbanger immediately begins to wheeze due to heightened physical exertion – his lifestyle choice of smoking one pack a day effectively stabbing him in the back and rendering him momentarily useless. The Hardcore Headbanger spits out a mass of blood-laced phlegm as he coughs, with the last bit of saliva stretching out of his tongue, almost as if its refusing to leave the safe shelter of Sam’s lung-cancer prone body. Much to the crowd’s disgust, Sam wipes it off with his shirt’s sleeve but instead of it being erased altogether, it sticks onto Sam’s cheek and extends across to his neck.
“So this is the barbaric Neanderthal that just joined The Company? I’m impressed. Really, I am.”
While all this is happening, Kahlan and Pyro get back into a standing position at the same time, but The Rogue Ninja takes Kahlan by surprise and forcefully bends her forward he opponent bent forward. Pyro hooks her arms back, placing his forearms in the crooks of the opponent's elbows, with his hands on top of The Special One’s back. Pyro proceeds to lift her up into an upside-down vertical position and falls back, shifting her to the side as she is thrown over the barrier and back into the main wrestling area. The former Television champion hops over the railings but instead of directing his gaze towards Kahlan – who had just been laid out courtesy of a double-arm Suplex – his eyes lock in at Sam who is halfway up the ladder. He shouts out something in Japanese, aimed at Kiba, probably instructing him to get back to his senses. Tanahashi responds appropriately and hastily begins climbing the same ladder, reaching the same point as Sam in a fraction of the time that it took the Pakistani Hardcore Icon. His line of sight also catches The Hardcore Prince, Shawn Dreamer, outside the ring. The tag team champion appears to be sliding in one table after another, completely disinterested in what is happening inside the ring.
“Shawn’s gone completely berserk here! He’s slid in not one, not two, not three… but FOUR tables!”
Mikey Vandal, fully recuperated from the double knee strike he was a victim of, lives up to his sly and opportunistic personality by gleefully hopping over the barrier and sliding into the ring in a splitsecond, shocking even the ever-aware Rogue Ninja. Instead of aiding his mentor by taking care of Kiba, Vandal’s inexperience shines through in ways that not even the biggest pessimist would imagine, when he attempts to set up another ladder right next to the one currently occupied by Tanahashi and Sycho Sam. An irritated Pyro proceeds to enter the ring but is halted when a vengeful Kahlan tightly grips his boots. He does not have to exert much pressure to shake off the one-hundred and twenty two pound Kahlan’s lazy grip and eventually makes his way into the four-sided ring. Kahlan follows suit, but instead of trailing the former TV champion, she begins setting up the tables inside the ring while Pyro ascends. An evil grin etches its way across Dreamer’s face as he too enters the ring. The Hardcore Headbanger and The Shadow Ninja trade blows with each man on the top of the ladder, hoping to bring the other man down and aim for glory – while their respective tag team partners climb the adjacent ladder in a kind of back-up plan should this one fail. All four completely ignore the presence of the reigning champions – The Cut Squad – far too absorbed in their own quest for glory to even care about Kahlan and Shawn’s devious scheming. The Shadow Ninja lifts up his left leg and angles it quite high, while twisting his body to make sure that his boot connects with any possible bodypart of Sam. What was already a high-risk move turns incredibly sour when The Pakistani Brawler catches the leg and tucks it underneath his armpit, causing Kiba’s other leg to lose its balance. Tanahashi now hangs loosely with one of his legs hooked by The Hardcore Headbanger while his partner continues to cautiously climb the ladder along with Vandal. Grinning from ear-to-ear, The Sychotic One traps Kiba’s free leg underneath his other armpit – thus rendering the Shadow Ninja unable to do anything. As Sam laughs obscenely, reveling in this simple childish pleasure of his, The Floridian Heavyweight positions himself with his back to the ladder and carefully takes two steps up so as to elevate himself to an appropriate level. After doing a bit of mental mathematics and making sure that the ladder in front of him is placed in its proper position, The Hardcore Prince decides to move in for the kill. He catches Sam unaware when he places his hands on the Pakistani’s khaki pants and grips them tightly, causing him to acquire a more worried facial expression. Sam’s fear only incites him to clutch on The Shadow Ninja’s legs even tighter, as he is forced off the ladder. He relinquishes his grip on Kiba’s legs as he comes crashing down onto the table – the impact causing not only wooden fragments to fly out of the ring, but also Tanahashi himself. Pyro’s unlucky partner is literally hurled out of the ring, and as he lands hard right next to the barrier, the EVPW fans explode into a deafening “Holy Shit!” chant. With Sycho Sam and Tanahashi taken care of, The Cut Squad lock in on their partners who have finally made it to the top of their ladder.

Wooden splinters of different sizes and shapes dig through the back of Sam as he lies over the broken Formica board, spine arched up to some extent. With his back ravaged like an acupuncture patient, the Pakistani Metalhead rolls out of the ring, leaving the Cut Squad to take care of the things going on in the ring. Pyro and Vandal, standing at the topmost rung of the ladder, are seen to exchange blows, trying to rip the other down. Though the punches are quite stiff and strong, both the men remain glued to the step, hanging on with their dear lives as the predicament is more like do or die. Kahlan and Shawn, standing tall side by side, decides not to intervene and to watch the rookie and the veteran pummel each other, in turn making things easier for them. But then, the two notices the beaming champions and decides to rub in the insult right where it came from. The Rogue Ninja and the All-Rounder plummets off the rung with their limbs stretched and take down the champions with stereo-diving crossbodies, setting them to flop flat over the canvas. Soon after pulling the high risk move, Vandal quickly mounts himself atop Dreamer and starts to hammer away onto the skull of the Hardcore Prince, while Pyro pushes the canvas to reach a vertical base. The Iga Ninja then turns flips around and leaps up in the air, performing a front flip in mid-air and crash atop the sternum of the Special One, garnering a loud round of cheers from the audience. The picture perfect standing moonsault sets Kahlan to scream out loud in immense pain, before she clutches her stomach and rolls out of the ring.
“What a perfect standing moonsault! I must say that even though Pyro has turned to a mindless ninja, he hasn’t forgotten his roots – the Fallen Angels. Remember that high-flying team, partner?”
“Jimmy, I say Chris is better off now. The Fallen Angels were totally gay, with Brooks being a bigger one than Pyro! I’m glad he finally knocked some senses and turned into a fuckin’ ninja – which is uber cool!”
“Oh, now I get why you supported them back then. You will never change, Ray!”
The Shogun from Nippon-Land quickly rises to a vertical base and looks around, before turning his attention back to the ladder and starting to climb it. Mikey, being fully focused on transforming the layout of Dreamer’s visage, simply doesn’t notice the sneaky Ninja, and even doesn’t notice his climb up the stairwell to heaven. When he’s done with his punching session and leave Dreamer to a worthless heap, it’s already too late; Chris had already reached halfway up the ladder. With alarms of all sorts ringing inside his head, the Sacramento native darts toward the former member of the Fallen Angels and starts to bang his fist onto the spinal column, trying to slide down his adversary back to the ground. But then, Chris wasn’t the man to give up – he grabbed onto the ladder with his dear life, hanging on like a panda on a bamboo stick. With the rain of punches not helping him much, the Californian hits the reverse gear and backs up, only to bounce off the ropes and beeline back at Pyro, with an amazingly blueprinted plan. The protégé of Sycho Sam leaps up in the air once he draws close to the Rogue Ninja and smashes his knee right onto the spinal column, sending the Japanese Immigrant to go chest first against the ladder. The sudden force sets the light contraption waggling – much like a building subjected to quake – and eventually falls, taking Pyro along with him. The naïve-most combatant lets out a loud shriek as the ladder topples over, like a woodchuck would after chopping a tall tree and sending it toppling down.
But luckily enough for Pyro, the ladder balances itself as its tip falls over the top rope, saving the Ninja from the apparent inevitable. This simply gives the cold-composed assailant the chance to show his skills as he crawls his way up the ladder, making his way toward the ropes. Once reaching the end of the line, the once-Toronto resident turns around and lands safely over the apron, sporting a huge, ear-to-ear grin. Mikey, totally frustrated how his plans went futile, makes a dash toward the Asian Immigrant, eyebrows vexed and face turned pale red. But then, Chris had more under his sleeves; he reminds Vandal of his kindergarten days as he pushes the end of the ladder, sending the other end up like a see-saw and strike right underneath the jaw, sending him flinching back. More was waiting for the rookie as he hit the ropes however; the Japanese Fang, who has been out cold for long, finally returns to action as he hops over the apron and sends his forearm to smash against the back of the cranium of Mikey, sending the backing Ace stumbling forward. Tanahashi wasn’t done there though; he pulls down the top rope and launches himself in the air, like a man shot off the human cannon. He puts his boots forth and sends them colliding right onto the same region – unlike the lightening which doesn’t strike twice – getting Sam’s rookie to take a nose dive.
“I say we hand these two the United Glory titles right away! In fact, I feel I should do them right away!”
Ray gets off his seat, repeating his act of last week and heading to the ring, trying to do what he thinks is right. But then, Jimmy – the sensible commentator of them all – pulls Ray back to his seat, saving his ass from any foreseeable beating and get him back to what he does best – add colour to the commentary.
“You’re going nowhere, Ray White! This has been the second time I’m saving your ass, and consider next time go unheeded. I won’t save you, or partake in such drama you pull every now and then!”
“You know what, Jimbo? Your touch…”
“Zip it, Ray! I know where you’re going!”
Grinning at each other in jubilation, the Kuro Kage simply doesn’t see the Hardcore Prince slowly stirring up to his feet. They do soon though, but it turns out to be too late as Dreamer strikes like the best of the sharks, sending Pyro falling with a stiff forearm to the back of the head. Kiba tries to complain about the act of Shawn, but soon falls to the same predicament as the Floridian strikes with another hard clothesline. Not allowing the slightest of the momentum to seep away, the champion grabs Kiba by his tresses and yanks him up, pulling him up on his double left feet. Once his adversary is up, the Jacksonville’s Finest locks his arms around the Shadow Ninja’s waist and pulls him off the ground, sending him flying overhead. The agile move off Dreamer’s book doesn’t even allow Kiba to try, and sends him neck first against the canvas, where the debris of the wood chunks lies. The protégé and comrade of the Rogue Ninja lies flat over the canvas, with the sharp edges of the Formica fragments pinching around his neck.
But there was more that Chef Dreamer had in store for the Iga-Town Ninja; the dual tag champion pulls the Rogue Ninja up and kicks him onto the solar plexus, doubling him over. He then grabs the mouth of Pyro’s tights and pulls his head between his legs, before pulling him up over his shoulder. The 268 pound heavyweight then shows his sheer power as he turns around and walks over to the Tanahashi-crash-land point with Pyro over his shoulder, lifeless like a mannequin. Once positioning himself at a proper spot, the Hardcore Prince unloads the mass off his shoulder, sending the middleweight frame of Pyro to crash straight atop his fallen comrade. The Japanese duo sets out loud screams in unison as their bodies strike against each other, lying over one another like a garbage heap, whilst the crowd cheers out loud being frenzy.
“See Jimbo, I knew the whole thing right off the bat! Pyro is a fuckin’ dude, and isn’t shameful about letting his sexual preference be known. Just look at them – don’t they look amazing over each other!?”
“To be honest, all I see is a pile of wannabe ninjas, Ray.”
“I know you would never see it, man. If you did, you would have understood how I felt back then!”
“You have a disgusting mind, Ray, and you should be thanking me for tolerating your shit every damn week!”
Single-handedly taking down the Kuro Kage, the Hardcore Prince turns around, only to find the Pakistani Headbanger to lean over the turnbuckles, waiting patiently for a partner to dance.

The Hardcore Prince cracks a smile as he motions at Sammy, inviting him to the ring. He paces around the ring, feeling incredibly confident after single-handedly taking out the Kuro Kage – ready to take down yet another challenger to his prized belt. Sam, however assumes a pensive stance after cautiously entering between the top and middle ropes, like a would-be hunter trying to deal with a wild animal. As the Floridian thinks of ways to brutalize the EVPW turncoat, Sam’s protégé and tag team partner Mikey Vandal slides into the ring holding a steel chair. Channeling all his energy into this one crucial swing, Vandal strikes the Cut Squad member directly on the back of his head. As his body struggles to come to terms with the jolts of pain travelling across his nervous system, his eyes roll back as he collapses like a puppet who just had his strings cut. Delighted that Vandal had come through, Sam hi-fives his partner but does not hesitate to get back into the thick of things. The Pakistani Metalhead instructs his Californian counterpart to climb to the top rope as he pulls up Dreamer and hoists him up onto his shoulders.
“I’ve seen Sam and Vandal practice this move before on our ring crew, they call it ‘Ownage’ and it’s pretty devastating! All Mikey needs to do is hit a spear onto Shawn from the top rope.”
Before the Mosh Crew can complete their signature move, the Kuro Kage regain their senses and decide to take advantage of the situation. Without even taking the time to recharge their batteries, the ninja duo strike quickly like the pair of ruthless assassins that they are. Pyro grabs a hold of the ladder balanced on the top rope and holding it vertically, charges at Sam from behind. The force of the massive steel object forces The Hardcore Headbanger to stumble forward while still holding Shawn, right into the path of Vandal who was poised to jump off the top turnbuckle a mere millisecond ago. However, what The Ace of Spades does next takes everyone inside the arena and those at home by surprise. Realizing that he does not have much choice in the matter, the young and reckless Mikey leaps off the top turnbuckle despite the decreased space between him and Shawn, and drives his shoulder into Dreamer’s torso. However, Vandal cannot counter the combined force and momentum of the three men plus the ladder and ends up once again on the wrong side of the tracks as Pyro continues his charge and manages to throw Vandal outside the ring. Because of his already awkward position, the EVPW rookie takes a nasty dive to the outside – and when the Rogue Ninja pushes Sycho Sam further into the corner, The Hardcore Prince follows suit.
The testicle smashing EVPW Icon falls dangerously, somersaulting as he lands right beside Vandal, while The Rogue Ninja continues to drive the ladder further into Sam’s back – sandwiching him between the turnbuckle and the steel ladder. At that very moment, The Ladder Queen herself – Kahlan – slides into the ring and jumps onto the back of the inactive Kiba, who was just playing the bystander as his mentor did all the damage. Kahlan locks her legs around Tanahashi’s waist after wrapping her arms around the Shadow Ninja’s throat and neck – trying to strangle him with a sleeper hold. With The Shadow Ninja’ Despite their heights being about the same, Kiba has the undisputed weight advantage over the frail Kahlan and he runs backward to the nearest turnbuckle, acting on his quick instinct and ability to combat any sort of danger. Kahlan relinquishes both holds when her back hits the corner, not even getting a chance to begin compressing the former tag team champ’s jugular veins because of the swiftness of her target.
Meanwhile, The Ace of Spades and Shawn Dreamer begin brawling immediately upon getting to a standing position, trading blow after blow with neither man even attempting to dodge a single strike. Once more, however, the fans are torn between the action outside the ring and the proceedings inside the squared circle when Chris Pyro has had enough of torturing Sycho Sam. He motions at his young protégé who is busy laying raining down a procession of lethal stomps on various parts of Kahlan’s body – using the ring ropes to add an extra sting to the attacks. Tanahashi nods in affirmation and hauls up a weary Kahlan as an equally weary Sam rolls out of the ring. The former TV champion positions himself on the outer edges of the ring apron and sets his hands on the uppermost rope as his protégé lifts up Kahlan by the waist and tosses her forward onto her back while landing on top of her. Seeing the spinebuster as the signal, Pyro bends the rope backwards with his hands and uses its momentum to launch himself over the top rope and into the ring with both legs extended. Kiba moves out of the way as his mentor lands a leg across the throat of the Englishwoman. With the wheels now set in motion for the completion of their signature tag team move, Tanahashi grabs both of Kahlan’s legs before tucking them underneath his armpits. Moving ever so quickly, Kiba then turns the soon to be comatose Kahlan face-down, stepping over her in the process. As Kiba sits down and bends the Tag Team champion’s legs and sends sharp pangs of pain all over her spine, Pyro darts towards the ropes facing Kahlan and rebounds off them. As he does so, he spots Sycho Sam setting up some tables outside. He has two lined up together and it appears that the Pakistani brawler is about to set two more over them while Dreamer is handed a chair by a fan to use on Vandal.
“All this wild action tonight, this match might as well be the best match of the Pay-Per-View!”
The Canadian-turned-Japanese ninja comes charging towards Kahlan – who quite unfortunately has her head raised up as she makes the futile attempt to soak in the pain. In a spectacular moment where once again the audience is forced to watch either the in-ring or ringside events, Pyro drops to the canvas and hits the defenseless Englishwoman with both soles of his feet, using the momentum carried on from the rebound to further the damage caused. At ringside, about the same time when The Rogue Ninja landed the dropkick to Kahlan, Dreamer raised the steel chair in the air and sent it crashing down on The Ace of Spades’ forehead – busting him open in the process. As the blood trickles down Vandal’s face, the man that discovered his talents puts in the last piece of his two-on-two table structure and jogs over to where The Hardcore Prince stands, towering over a badly shaken up Mikey who lies supine on the canvas after receiving the most brutal chair shot of his career so far.
“WOW! Someone call 911, it looks like Mikey’s totally out of it! So much for being Sycho Sam’s apprentice!’
The EVPW original raises the steel chair in the air, much to the delight of the fans who start chanting his surname. No doubt, they are immensely pleased with their Hardcore Prince's actions against someone who just recently pledged his allegiance to The Company. Inside the ring, Kiba continues to pull harder on Kahlan’s legs, undeterred by the ear-piercing cries of agony. His mentor, knowing that victory might as well be within an arm’s reach inside a few seconds, proceeds to pick up and then set the ladder in the middle of the ring. Dreamer is brought back down to earth by his partner’s cries for help but just as he turns around, he is brought further back into the physical world when The Hardcore Headbanger snatches the bent chair and lets it drop to the floor. With his target unable to act so quickly, Sam pulls Dreamer’s head forward and encircles his left arm around it. While hastily aligning himself alongside the chair, Sam blurts out a plethora of obscenities at his young partner – urging him to get himself together. Hearing his mentor shout at him in such a manner is enough for the Californian to re-organize his thoughts. Dreamer though, begins to squirm while inside the front facelock which prompts the veteran brawler to act quickly as he plummets to the ground – bringing Dreamer’s head down to the already damaged chair.
Pyro continues his ascension, fully confident in his ability to notch up another tag title victory. His eyes are glued onto the pair of belts that hangs above him – a million thoughts hovering around his head as he is overcome with sweet sensations of triumph and supremacy. He is almost at the top of the ladder and he extends his arm as far as it can go but it is not enough as his fingers can barely touch the gold engravings embedded on the belts. Balancing himself carefully, The Rogue Ninja tries to take another step forward but takes his time with it – not wanting to disrupt the delicate equilibrium. At the same time, a rejuvenated Vandal makes his way into the ring with The Shadow Ninja being completely oblivious to his presence due to him looking the other way while still torturing Kahlan with the Boston Crab submission. Without a second thought or any such hesitation, Vandal places his two hands on the different sides of the ladder pushes it forward into the path of the mass of tables outside. Mikey’s minor exertion being the only thing needed to tip over the ladder. Had Japanese-Canadian moved a second quicker, he would have had both hands around the championship belts but he pays dearly as he plunges off and lands hazardously onto Sam’s mini construction. Slicing through the first two tables and then the second pair underneath, The Rogue Ninja exits the material realm and enters a state of unconsciousness as he lies on the remains in a badly twisted state. The fans erupt in a colossal “Holy Shit!” chant – perhaps the biggest of the event so far, but it fades away all too quickly when Tanahashi rushes by his mentor’s side. With the electric atmosphere now replaced with the type of deathly silence one experiences at a graveyard, a worried Kiba calls for the stretchers. Once again the atmosphere in the arena changes – now everyone appears to be whispering among themselves.
“Due to Chris Pyro suffering legitimate injuries, Kuro Kage have decided to withdraw from the match-up.”
Swamped by feelings of guilt, Kiba helps his mentor onto the stretcher and accompanies the medics as they take him backstage. Had he noticed Vandal’s presence, things would have turned out different and they would probably have won. Unfortunately for them, it did not work out that way. The audience, extremely grateful for the amazing show that Kuro Kage had put on so far against the Mosh Crew and The Cut Squad, gives a standing ovation to Pyro who might not be appearing in an EVPW ring for an extended period of time. However, when the Hardcore Headbanger laughs, it becomes clear to just about everyone that this move was planned before-hand.
"Look at him! He's having the time of his life there! Someone lynch that evil son of a bi- I mean gun!"
TBC ((Pyro wanted me to injure him and pull him out of the match.))

The ever unbiased EVPW audience bursts onto heckles as Sam continues with his egoistic laughter, overjoyed by the succession of their plan. But then again, he isn’t let to express his jubilation for long as the fallen Hardcore Prince rises and makes a statement through his action. The Floridian, up on his elbows and knees, sends his arm up between the legs of the ally of the Company, striking hard onto his nutsack. The sudden low-blow sets a spectrum of emotions to be unloaded onto the face of Sam; his joyous face soon contorts up in pain as he screams out loud, clutching the pain-inflicting area tight. Setting his adversary out of commission for a while, Dreamer pushes the ground around him and rises to his feet, making a much-needed return to set things even. Up on his heels with his opponent standing forth vulnerable, the Floridian veteran balls his fist and sends it striking against the lower jaw, sending it smashing against the upper one. The offence sends the Pakistani Immigrant flinching back, with his jaws throbbing hard now by the picture-perfect haymaker. The Jacksonville’s Finest, however, isn’t eager to let go of his adversary, and he punches the seasoned veteran with the alternate fist, sending him stumbling back and go spine-first against the ring apron. Sidestepping forth like a professional ballet dancer, Shawn lashes the back of his arm against the ribs of Sam, nearly smashing his ribs with the stiff knife-edge chop. The whipping arm sets the King of Destruction to scream hard, and the scream finally gets Vandal to be aware of what’s going on outside the ring.
While Shawn had been beating the living hell out of Sam, Vandal had been stomping all over the small frame of the Ladder Queen, much like a gangster from the streets of Brooklyn or Bronx. He was so into his offence that he didn’t notice the entire scenario outside the ring. Finally, when his mentor gave out the deathly scream, it caught his attention, and his eyes instantly went inflated by the looks of things outside. The Ace tries to leave the ring to aid his partner-cum-sensei, but the female counterpart of the Cut Squad didn’t let that to happen. The Newcastle diva grabbed onto the boot of Vandal from behind, blocking him on his path to go outside. This sets the Sacramento native to implode into anger, and he tries to kick the blue-haired diva on the face with his free leg, only to get it be trapped too. The Green Tea Addict, grinning callously, uses all the gas in her as she pulled herself up somehow and gave the legs of Mikey a huge yank, getting the Californian to slip his balance. The highest card of the Spade deck takes a nosedive for the canvas as Kahlan collapses back, crashing against the hard platform with a thud, along with a bone shattering noise. Right after the collision, Vandal flips around and starts to splash around the ring like a fish out of water, clutching onto his nose that took the most shock of the crash. Soon, crimson flow is observed to run down the nostrils of the naïve rookie, pointing out the fact that Mikey might have cracked his nose-bone.
“I hate when someone gets their nose shattered while receiving a move. It gets this tingling feeling run up and down my nose, and makes me feel all disgusted inside.”
“Don’t tell me you’re scared of a little blood, Jimbo! I, for one, have had my nose cracked once, and it really doesn’t feel that bad. It stings a little initially, but it goes numb soon after!”
“Oh, it’s the great Ray White, and his stories of bravery! What made you be in such a predicament? Wrestling with a polar bear?”
With both the combatants dead inside the ring, the fans turn their attention to outside the ring, where Shawn has the upper hand over the Sychotic One. The Jacksonville’s Pride has the skull of Sam gripped as he ushers the South-Asian Extremist to the other side, where a table still stands intact. Once reaching the spot, Dreamer sends the crown of Sam to crash against the Formica panel, only to have the skull to bounce back up. Shawn replicates his move twice more, setting the soft cerebellum inside the Company’s Lapdog to rock to and fro. Ensuring that the imaginary yellow canaries are flying around the skull of Sam, the eldest of the Dreamer dynasty places the carcass of the veteran over the table, setting him up like a dead corpse over a mortuary stretcher. Placing the most veteran of them all supine over the table, the one half of the United Glory champions looks over at the ring, where his partner – the blue haired diva – is up on her knees.
“K, get yourself here!”
The Special One, still having the jitters of the assault all over her, gingerly walks up toward the ropes facing the side where Shawn is at, with an inquisitive look on her face.
“SUPERNOVA TIME, WOMAN!”
All of a sudden, the pain-filled face of Kahlan beams up with a huge swagger, as the crowd erupts into cheers, knowing well what’s coming their way in the next few minutes. Hungry to pull the move, the European Diva quickly climbs up the top rope to reach the apex – a place where she is most comfortable at. Looking down at the world below her and saying the much-required prayer, the Special One sets herself in air, ever so gracefully like a sky-diver jumping from the top of a cliff. Soaring through the brisk air filled with chants, the cruiserweight crumples herself into a ball and starts to flip in the air, doing a full circle and a three quarter before she finds ground under her. But unfortunate enough for the Queen Diva, the bad luck doesn’t end for her at all. The veteran from Pakistan, as if he had anticipated the whole thing in a lucid dream, rolls out of the harms way at the right moment, sending his adversary to the inevitable fate – that is, go through the table. The self-proclaimed Strife Slayer, lying over the wooden splinters of woodgrains, screams out in pain as her partner looks at her in horror, hands placed over his head.
“Oooh, I’m Kahlan, I’m the Ladder Queen! Didn’t she get served right there?! I swear the bitch would pack her bags tonight, go back home to Newcastle and get herself to the kitchen before I scream out for a sammich!”
“I don’t think she would hear you from here if she was in Newcastle, man. But then, I think we would need another stretcher be pulled out here; Kahlan doesn’t look to be fit at all.”
Dreamer, being dreadfully shocked at the fate of his partner, gets down to his knees next to the Special One and tries to wake her up – to know whether she is fit to fight, or would they have to forfeit. But then, as expected, Kahlan doesn’t respond at all and is sailing hard in the lands of slumber, sailing in the pools of dreams. While the Hardcore Prince tries to woo her partner to wake up, Sycho Sam scrambles up to his heels, untraced by the radar of Shawn. He takes a moment to scope the scenario before he makes a beeline toward his adversary, all set to take advantage over the mentally-broken Extremist. The EVPW Icon doesn’t even get to complain as Sam strikes like the best vigilantes of all, sending his padded knee to crash against the ear of Shawn. The battering-ram-type knee sends Dreamer flopping next to Kahlan, onto the beads and chunks of Formica.
With both the champions now down, Sam rushes inside the ring, where his partner, Mikey is getting up by the aid of the ropes. The bloody face of Vandal turns off the Pakistani Immigrant, getting a huge scowl to be embedded on his face. He gets onto the face of the Ace and slaps him hard, before howling out his feelings at his rookie.
“WHAT DID I TEACH YOU OVER THE YEARS?! TO GET YOURSELF BRUISED?!”
Though it takes a while for Mikey to grasp with the gritty insult, he soon realises it’s for the best. But then, just as he understands the whole deal, the voice of Sam fires up again – this time with a command.
“Get the ladder! We don’t have the whole night!”
The Apprentice of Sam quickly acts upon the command, marching up to a ladder and picking it up by the rungs. He returns to the centre with the contraption in his hands, before setting it upright in the middle. Once the staircase to gold is set up like an inverted ‘V’, Sam whispers a few words in the ear of Mikey, setting the next mode of actions and the strategy for the team. Once done blurting out what he has in mind, the Pakistani Metalhead and the Ace of Spades starts to climb the ladder from both sides, rung after rung, heading out for the straps hanging over their heads. The Mosh Crew, working as a unit, ascends the ladder ever so lazily with their adversaries lying outside, over the pile of broken timber.
“The Mosh Crew is now ascending the ladder and it seems that there’s no stopping them. With the Cut Squad is down and out, and the Kuro Kage out of action, who would stop these hooligans from taking the title to the hood of the Company!”
“Oh yeah, those freaks have now aligned themselves with the company! *bleep* you, *bleep*; you will never succeed! Here I come!”
Taking off the headset, Ray White makes a dash for the ring, trying to intervene in the business of the Mosh Crew. Surprisingly enough, Jimmy doesn’t stop him this time and rather supports him to the fullest – as could be comprehended from his final words.
“For the first time in his life... Go, Ray, GO!”
