There is a dark room present as the words ‘Mr. Ace presents Deck of Cards’ appears. Light suddenly floods trough, in the form of a spot-light to give the view of the room which happens to be an empty casino giving the possibility it is after hours. Mr Ace appears out of the shadows with a pack of cards in his hands. He is dressed in a smart black Armani suit with matching shoes and a shining Rolex watch. He shuffles the cards in a water-fall fashion as they jump across from one hand to the other. He finishes off as he slams the pack on a poker table. The Ace of spades happens to flip out to the top. Mr Ace gleams a smile at the camera.

“Welcome all to the third edition of Deck of Cards. So we‘ve just had fun discussing the happenings of Killing Grounds. Lets now move onto what happened during this weeks showing of Knockout and Genesis.”
A closer look at the table shows a bottle of wine with two glasses of wine and a separate deck of cards. Antonio takes hold of the bottle and prises it open before letting it flow into his glass. He carefully lifts it upright again making sure not to let even a drip go to waste. A small sip is taken before Mr Ace continues to speak.
“But before we carry on, I would like to introduce this weeks special guest and my good friend. He’s the leader of the Coven. Its the one and only, King Bear.”
King Bear is shown appearing from the darkness dressed in a smart black suit. He takes a seat besides Antonio as his host prepares him a glass of wine.

“Why thank you Mr. Ace for the invite and the drink. A pleasure to be on your wonderful show tonight.”

“I think we should start getting on with the show.”
Mr Ace arranges a set of ten cards in a row across the table. Each represents a number ranging from 10 to 2 whilst the last one has a large ‘A’ in the middle. He takes five cards from a separate pile already placed on the desk. They are placed beneath the number ten. The camera closes in to show a close-up.

“These guys performed awesomely in three separate matches. Evan and Desperado took on the team of Tyler Nathan Thomas and Darnez FC who happens to be one half of the Kure. With Tripp still out injured, TNT could not offer Darnez the same support and understanding his partner would have. The two XWO members came out on top on SNK. Grockadoc also appeared against Juan Kingston to pick up a second win of the night for XWO.
The other match happened on Genesis which involved Angel Morgan and NVX taking on the newcomers in Massey and Eddie Stitchard as well as the Imperial Champion Demon and Nick Carson of the imperfects. Perhaps the best match of the week. Had it not been the misunderstanding involving Angel Morgan and Eddie, XWO may have found another victory but unfortunately, it didn‘t happen. They managed to scrape in as tenth position through their hard work and the win picked up on SNK. What do you think about the XWO King Bear?”
“I think they‘re pretty talented to tell you the truth and gutsy too. But some would wonder what they plan to accomplish cause I personally don‘t think they can get very far. They have been contesting the Imperfects well up till now but how long will it last. Can they claim a name for their stable like the great Coven. I’m not sure. It would be great to see them succeed but I believe there are too many separate ego’s in that little crowd.”

“Moving back into the top ten is our former Imperial Champion, The Tom-Cat Thomas Cathy. He had a challenging battle this week on Genesis against Duke Taylor in a flag match.”
“Yes a flag match is a more of a patriotic match with the flag of the star‘s home country on a pole on the opposite side of the ring. Thomas showed he has more love for his country. I guess Duke only cares for the money he makes.”

Another two superstars is taken from the deck and placed at the number eight spot. Antonio takes a small sip of his wine before continuing. He has a sympathetic smile on his face.

“I’m sorry King Bear but it seems the Coven has dropped a good few places with your absence from wrestling this week. Alex Stall took on the debutant Ethan Falcon and looked off color as the debutant picked up his first victory.”
“Last week I had some business to take care off and couldn‘t exactly participate in a match but this week I am up against The Purest, Chris Pyro and Ricky Masters in a no-disqualification fatal-fourway match and I promise you, it won‘t be disappointing. Alex seems a little out of focus at this very moment. Hopefully he‘ll be able to see from his mistakes and make up for it this following week.”

“Dropping down a few places we have Azumi. She has been performing well of late but a no contest against Ricky Masters pulled her down. I‘m sure we have got more to see from her as her on going personal rivalry against the other leading lady of Genesis Angel Morgan continues next week in a tag match that also involves Thomas Cathy on her side whilst Demon assists Angel Morgan.”

“Lets not get carried away here King Bear. I‘m sure he‘ll meet his match sooner or later.”

Mr. Ace looks through the pile of cards and shuffles through to find the one for the fifth position and places it at number five spot.

“Missing out on a match last week, the knife wielding maniac drops a few places. I hope I don‘t get stabbed for this.”
“Unusual fellah Rhaps is and sick b*stard too. A lot has happened in these past few months and he‘s gone through a lot of changes. Say a transformation if you like. At the moment he looks unbeatable, I just hope Evan has an answer when he takes him on at SNK next week.”

Antonio takes the glass to his lips again and this time swallows the rest of the contents of the glass before placing at the table where it was originally located. King Bear just takes a polite sip. Another card is taken from the pile and placed at four.

“Our Knockout Champion, the holder of the Dragon‘s Rage title, Metal Dragon is finally removed form his number one spot. The Ace has fallen at last but only through his non participation in this weeks matches. I guess his match from Killing Grounds took a lot out of him. Hopefully he‘ll bounce right back as he bouts with the leader of the revolution and old rival Desperado as well as Tyler Nathan Thomas in a three-way dance.”
“Metal Dragon has come a long way since the days of GHW. This title win has also given him a boost of confidence. I personally see a long reign coming along here but I could be wrong.”

A smile escapes Antonio’s lips as he places a familiar face beneath the number three card.

^ Vladimir T. Strife ^
“After his superb performance at Killing Grounds, Vlad established a foundation in my charts and the king is now climbing to the top of the hierarchy where he belongs. A win against Derek Wellings made sure he did. This week however, the much awaited battle between himself and Nicholas Carson will take place. Will he lose? Will he ever lose King Bear?”
“I must admit, I would like to see him lose. I mean who wouldn‘t. For once he would realise that he isn‘t the best and the arrogant smile of his will finally disappear. But to lose against Nicholas Carson I wouldn‘t want. That guy is a psycho, the worst being I have laid eyes upon in this business. He holds no regards to other people around him. I hope Vladimir can shut him up for good.”

The runner-up card is put down and a smile embraces Antonio‘s face.

^ Crazy Boy ^
“Crazy Boy is on a roll. After winning the dictators rules match at Killing Grounds he now went up against Dominik Santiago and another victory was achieved. With the T.V. title already in his grasp. He‘s going after Metal Dragons‘ Title at Eon of Innocence.
“I almost forgot about that. Coming to think of it, if there is anyone who can prove me wrong it is probably Crazy Boy. A win might seem difficult here but he achieved something much more challenging at Killing Grounds and he might as well make two PPV wins in a row.”

The final attachment of the top ten is made as the top superstar is placed at the Ace.

^ The Imperfects (Demon and Nick Carson) ^
Nicholas Carson and Demon participated in a breath taking ladder match against the teams of Angel Morgan and NVX as well as Massey and Eddie Stitchard. With the odds stacked against them, victory seemed impossible but with some clever manipulating of the minds. Carson and Demon managed to turn Eddie Stitchard against his own partner as well as his team-mates NVX and Angel Morgan giving the Imperfects the opportunity to bag the win.”
“I was surprised as you were with this win. They manipulated that poor soul into committing so much stupidity that it cost both his partner and his stable the win. I wonder how it will feel for Demon to be partners with Angel. And lets not forget about the Vladimir Strife against Nicholas Carson. All I can say is, next weeks Genesis is something you cannot miss.”

Antonio Corradi Esquire takes another four cards out from the original deck and places them in order from Jack to Queen to King. The Joker sits in a corner of its own.
“The Royal Family consists of some similar and some different faces this week.”
Mr Ace takes forth three cards from the wrestler pile and places one of them at the Jack spot.

Eddie Stitchard
“This guy impressed me with his no fear approach to the wrestling industry. He put in a powerful performance in the Main Event of Genesis last week attacking his own partner to award The Imperfects the win. Since he started off last week he has gone from a nobody to a somebody as first he chose to join the ranks of the XWO whilst finding the courage to let Angel Morgan know of his feelings towards her. But this soon turned as he turned his back on the XWO through sheer jealousy.”
“I was impressed by his promising start but I was a little disappointed with the path he chose during the course of the match. At least he had the decency to apologise after the match.”
Another card is taken up and put beneath the space for the Queen.

Amanda Hallsworth
“Replacing Angel Morgan as the Queen this week is non other than the Queen of Saturday Night Knockout herself, Amanda Hallsworth. After a disappointing night at Killing Grounds, Amanda confronted what she believed was the reason for her loss. The former Imperial Champion Thomas Cathy who used Amanda’s old rival Hayden Hardkore‘s entrance theme to distract Amanda from the match allowing Metal Dragon to bag the victory. Flares are burning between the two since that night. Perhaps we will see the two face off some time on SNK as Thomas Cathy suggested. Anything you would like to add King Bear?"
“Amanda is a strong female presence in EVPW and has never backed down from a challenge. A lot of the time, it is her who goes around making the challenges. It was disappointing to see Thomas Cathy destroy her chance of winning the Dragon‘s Rage title. It will be fun to see how she makes him pay.”
The final card out of the three is placed down and a smirk appears on Antonio’s face.

Nicholas Carson, Rhaps and Demon
“From manipulation and putting thoughts into the minds of little children to planting a semen bomb in the locker room of the XWO. These guys did it all last week causing me to increase my status of the King to the Three Kings. The imperfects took to a local school to educate the kids about safety. The Safety Ranger being there added the professionalism to the situation. The parent’s of the kids would be disappointed to know the messages they sent the kids that almost caused serious injuries to many amongst them who were stupid enough to believe what these guys told them.
They also manipulated Eddie into turning on his own partner, the young Cameron Massey who was disappointed to have the chance of his debut match win blown to pieces. Planting the thought of Cameron getting too close to Angel in his head, they turned the promising superstar against his team-mates and stable so that they can pick up the win. The Imperfects also picked up their revenge against the Xtreme World Order but in their own way as they destroyed their locker rooms and tarnished their pride by planting a semen bomb. What more havoc are these guys going to cause?”
“Hopefully, somebody will close them down very soon. With them picking up enemies from all across EVPW its is only a matter of time. With the XWO, The Coven and Vladimir Strife all out to destroy them, it is only a matter of time.”
Mr Ace takes another card from the cards deck and reveals it beneath the joker.

Eddie Stitchard
“Okay, it cannot get any funnier than a guy managing to bust the nose of the girl he is crushing on. Haha, that‘s right. Eddie Stitchard here lost the plot in last weeks ladder match against the XWO and Imperfects and unknowingly had his fist fly into Angel Morgan‘s nose causing it bust open and costing her the match.”
Mr Ace packs up all the cards on the desk and separates them back into the separate two piles he started with.

King Bear leaves the scene as Mr Ace sends a wink to the camera as the show goes of air.
