There is a dark room present as the words ‘Mr. Ace presents Deck of Cards’ appears. Light suddenly floods trough, in the form of a spot-light to give the view of the room which happens to be an empty casino giving the possibility it is after hours. Mr Ace appears out of the shadows with a pack of cards in his hands. He is dressed in a smart black Armani suit with matching shoes and a shining Rolex watch. He shuffles the cards in a water-fall fashion as they jump across from one hand to the other. He finishes off as he slams the pack on a poker table. The Ace of spades happens to flip out to the top. Mr Ace gleams a smile at the camera.

“Welcome all to the second edition of my show. After last weeks ratings, I have been told the show was a hit. So tonight, I bring you the Pay-Per-View edition of Deck of Cards”
A closer look at the table shows a bottle of wine with a glass and a separate deck of cards. Antonio takes hold of the bottle and prises it open before letting it flow into his glass. He carefully lifts it upright again making sure not to let even a drip go to waste. A small sip is taken before Mr Ace continues to speak.
“The Killing Grounds PPV was something on the level of ‘Unbelievable’ and ‘Out of this World’. All in all there were 17 matches that took place that night. Not everyday can you enjoy as much action as an EVPW PPV. There were many brilliant performances that need crediting. Enough chit-chat. Lets get this show on the road.”
Mr Ace arranges a set of ten cards in a row across the table. Each represents a number ranging from 10 to 2 whilst the last one has a large ‘A’ in the middle. He takes a card from a separate pile already placed on the desk. A card representing a wrestler is taken out and places it beneath the number ten. The camera closes in to show a close-up.
~::NUMBER TEN-||-#10::~
- Gnarfflinger the Butcher -
“The butcher keeps his spot at number 10 winning a triple threat match at the PPV. The veteran is showing he has still got the moves and that age is nothing but a mere figure. Can Gnarfflinger keep himself in the top ten any longer? He seems to be clinging to the spot by the nails.”
Last time - 10th
A cards is taken out of the pile this time and placed beneath number nine.
~::NUMBER NINE-||-#9::~
^ Curate Cadaverous ^
“Moving on to card number nine we have Curate Cadaverous. The new guy who picked up his first Pay-Per-View win against Grant Discharge. Praise is worthy of both these two newcomers as they gave the crowd a show to remember. Curate takes on Gnarff next week. Which one will keep his spot and which one will be booted off the show?”
Last time - N/A
Another superstar is taken from the deck and placed at the number eight spot. Antonio takes a small sip of his wine before continuing.
~::NUMBER EIGHT-||-#8::~
^ Dominik Santiago ^
“Dominik Santiago, the number one pick for Saturday Night Knockout. Mr. Numero Uno was up against the impressive Johnny Enmity. A sound performance from Santiago snatched him the victory from the jaws of his opponent. Another match the audience enjoyed thanks to the extreme rules.”
Last time - N/A
A smile escapes Antonio’s lips as he places a familiar face beneath the number seven card.
~::NUMBER SEVEN-||-#7::~
^ Vladimir T. Strife ^
“The King of wrestling itself Vladimir Strife graces the number seven spot. The undefeated Romanian had two matches at the Killing Grounds. The first of which was a handicap match against the team of Draven and Andy Brookes and surprisingly, they both didn‘t show up. I mean I would understand had they been up against Vlad single handily but there was two of them and yet they still chickened out. That I found was fairly amusing. On a more serious note. Vladimir teamed up with Rhaps and found victory against Corrin Cobain and Duke Taylor defending their tag-titles successfully.”

Another card is taken from the pile and placed below number six.
~::NUMBER SIX-||-#6::~
^ Crazy Boy ^
“This guy deserves a lot of praise for is effort and triumph. By winning a match that is classed as arduous he also picked up the T.V. title. The dictator‘s rules match pitted him against tough opponents such as Crash Barley, Ricky Masters, The Fallen Angels and The Psycho Kid. He shone like a star and rounded of the night with a great match and individual performance.”
Last time - NA
Mr. Ace looks through the pile of cards and shuffles through to find the one for the fifth position and places it at number five spot.
~::NUMBER FIVE-||-#5::~
- Azumi ‘The Jade Dragon‘ Sakaguchi -
“Azumi takes spot number five again. I wish I could give her more because taking on Angel Morgan is never easy but she managed with a superb performance. The ‘Cat O’ Nine Tails’ match was something of a change and added the highlight to an awesome night.”
Last time - 5th
Antonio takes the glass to his lips again and this time swallows the rest of the contents of the glass before placing at the table where it was originally located. Another two cards are taken from the pile and placed at four.
~::NUMBER FOUR-||-#4::~
v The Coven v
“Although they may have dropped down a scene in the charts, by no means does it mean they‘ve had a poor performance at Killing Grounds. Represented by King Bear himself and the ‘Insane Angel’ Alex Stall. The two experienced star of EVPW took on the much less experienced Tyson Gaines and Derrick Wellings. A great match ended in a well earned victory for the Coven.”
Last time - 3rd
Another card is carefully placed at third position.
~::NUMBER THREE-||-#3::~
v Demon v
“That brings us down to our final three. Representing the Imperfects we have Demon, the newly crowned Imperial Champion of Eagle-Vision Pro-Wrestling. Although this monster suffered a defeat at the hands of his stable member Rhaps, he managed to turn the night around for him by picking up a huge win against Thomas Cathy in a barb-wired cage match.”
Last time - 2nd
The runner-up card is put down and a smile embraces Antonio‘s face.
~::NUMBER TWO-||-#2::~
^ Rhaps ^
“Where do I start with this guy. Burst into the top 10 with a masterpiece of a performance at Killing Grounds. Two out of two wins in a single night. Perhaps in the best match of the night, Rhaps won whilst he took on his stable team-mate Demon who was his representative whilst he himself represented Amanda and TNT was standing in on Angel Morgan’s behalf. I mean having to face Demon and Tyler Nathan Thomas was hard enough but Rhaps goes on to team up with Vladimir to defend EVPW’s tag-team titles against the team of Duke Taylor and Corrin Cobain.
Last time - N/A
The final attachment of the top ten is made as the top superstar is placed at the Ace.
~::NUMBER ONE-||-ACE::~
- Metal Dragon -
Metal Dragon takes the spot of the Ace once again. Winning the ‘Dragon’s Rage’ title. I always thought he might win it. Perhaps it was the name of the title or just his awesome skill. Up against Amanda Hallsworth, it was a test of character, skill and ruthlessness. All of which Metal Dragon is full off. A great bout saw Metal Dragon defeat Amanda but it perhaps the interference of Hayden Hardkore’s music and the appearance of Thomas Cathy distracted the ‘Chick with the Kick’. Anyways SNK have a new champion and I get to keep my Ace.”
Last time - Ace
Antonio Corradi Esquire takes another four cards out from the original deck and places them in order from Jack to Queen to King. The Joker sits in a corner of its own.
“Moving onto the Royal Family. The following have really impressed me this past week with their presence outside the ring”
Mr Ace takes forth three cards from the wrestler pile and places one of them at the Jack spot.
~::Most Promising-||-JACK::~
Chris Pyro
“First off, the jack of the pack. The individual who I found to have put in a lot of effort and deserved a mention. For me it was the ‘One Winged Angel’ and one half of the Fallen Angels, … Chris Pyro. The dictator rules match has to be one of the hardest fought matches in all time. Having to go up against five other opponents is always tricky and if they‘re all as determined to win as you are, it makes it all the more difficult. Chris fought through the high‘s and lows taking Crazy Boy to the finish but managed to fall out short right at the last moment. Good effort kid, perhaps another day and you would have won it.”
Another card is taken up and put beneath the space for the Queen.
~::Most Influential Female-||-QUEEN::~
Angel Morgan
“Now this one came as a surprise. Yeah sure she had NVX and Desperado watching over her but the new reformation of the XWO has packed her with non less than four strong superstars with Evan and Grockadoc also joining the pack. What more, she and her compatriots decide to ruin Demon‘s celebrations of his title win with an ambush attack lead by NVX approaching Rhaps and Demon and Desperado‘s surprising entrance from the crowd. This was followed up by the new members of XWO claiming their name on a glorious night. Is it her charming personality or seducing figure but this girl has got the guys tied in knots."
The final card out of the three is placed down and a smirk appears on Antonio’s face.
~::Most Influential Male-||-KING::~
Nicholas Carson
“Nicholas Carson. There is no stopping this guy is there. So desperate to get what his twisted mind wants, he went to the length of holding Devin‘s Family hostage assisted by his stable mate Demon. They put a blade to her daughter‘s face until Devin finally cracked and accepted his proposal of a match against Vladimir Strife. What he wishes to accomplish from this, I do not know but if you want to see the craziest guy in EVPW. Look no further.”
Mr Ace takes another card from the cards deck and reveals it beneath the joker.
~::Joker of the Week-||-JOKER::~
Reptile
“There were quite a few people who could have taken this spot. The two clowns who chickened out of facing Vlad even though it was a handicap match in their favour. Or Grockadoc, who rants about how he will crush NVX and end up joining under his league. But the guy who takes it all is Reptile. With a name like that you can imagine. He challenged Himanshu to a match and like all those who possess an ego, Himanshu accepted. But once again Himanshu was shown up as he waited in the ring and his opponent was nowhere to be seen. I mean if you challenge a guy, at least have the decency to show up. Even if its an ambush or a message on the titantron. Never mind, something’s will just be as they are.”
Mr Ace packs up all the cards on the desk and separates them back into the separate two piles he started with. He pushes his seat back and lets himself out of the seat. He begins to walk around the casino as the camera continues to follow him.
::{~Antonio Corradi Esquire-||-Mr. Ace~}::
“That‘s all there is from me for tonight. Catch me again in a fort-night as I continue my new show. Next episode will be a little more exciting as it will feature a surprise guest.”
Mr Ace sends a wink to a wink to he camera as the show goes of air.
