Jake’s Contract: evpw.proboards91.com/index.cgi?board=cntracts&action=display&thread=269
An intense amount of cheers from the audience is heard instantly as “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour begins to blare throughout the arena. The lights begin to flash randomly and rapidly in unison with the guitar riff as the entrance tunnel is filled with sparks and the silhouette of the proclaimed “Future” is shown in the tunnel.
Jake Diamond energetically bursts out of the tunnel to an overwhelming ovation. Wearing long black wrestling pants with numerous designs all over them and a vest covered in signature insignias, Jake brushes back his long, shaggy brown hair with his hand and slyly smirks proudly into the audience with his emerald green eyes. With the chants of his name heard from the audience Jake, as typically as ever, runs from side to side of the slightly larger entrance stage playfully taunting the fans as he goes.
Lizzie Morna: “Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is under hardcore rules where falls count anywhere and anything goes!”
Jimmy Pate: "Wow, this is going to prove to be one hell of a match ladies and gentlemen. A battle between two best friends, the mentor versus the protege, all under hardcore rules."
Ray White: "My manly American fighting the dreamiest thing this side of Ireland? Oh boy Jimmy this is going to be quite an impressive match. I have top ask though, with both being so young and equally as gifted as these two, do you think this could be one of their career defining moments?"
JP: "Wow, Ray, I'm surprised by your rather insiteful question but you've surprised me before. I think the answer could be both yes and no since this could just easilly be one of their last matches of their talented young careers. Although, it will be interesting to see if Jake will be his usual relentless self and give it his all to try and end Scotty Dreamer..."
Meanwhile, Jake begins to walk down the entrance ramp in his signature cocky strut, pointing finger gun gestures playfully at the audience and randomly yelling confident but just as hilarious comments. He stops at the center of the entrance ramp and spreads his legs slightly apart before lowering his head. He slowly raises both his hands high up into the air, forming the shape of a diamond in the middle of them, before swiftly and sharply bringing it down. Unlike on the average episodes of Genesis, a large and single explosion shots up from the entrance stage exciting the already wild fans who continue to cheer in approval at the no-nonsense competitor, only to further expand the grin which is spread halfway across Jake’s face.
LM: “Introducing first; he hails from the ‘Second City,’ Chicago, Illinois and weighs in tonight at two hundred and twenty-two pounds! He is 'The Future' JAKE DIAMOND!"
Jake continues to make his way down the entrance ramp, slapping the hands of nearby fans on the way, Jake reaches the steel steps to the ring and energetically rushes up them and hops over the ring ropes with ease. Similar to that of Shawn Michaels, Jake does a quick spin to reach the middle of the ring before immediately shooting his arms out to his sides in his signature crucifix pose. If that wasn’t enough, a single simultaneous burst from the turnbuckles explodes, this time with relatively large fireworks that Jake himself did not buy but instead got paid for him by the sponsor. Jake removes his vest and hands it off to the official in the ring. Now beginning to pace in the ring in anticipation, Jake already has his key strategy developed as he prepares to face the man he taught the majority of he knows to. Jake suddenly goes wide-eyed and his classic demonic and sadistic grin spreads across his face, possibly developing a more psychotic gameplan to use against one of his very few friends.
RW: "I'm kinda scared Jimmy, Jake is revealing that look on his face that resulted in the downfall of many other opponents he's faced."
"I have to agree with you Ray, I've seen that look when he was up against guys like Human Wreckingball, Hyperion, and Lil Rey Ray! In all those cases not only has Jake won, but brought utter destruction to them. Although I would not count Scotty Dreamer out just because of how Jake looks, I mean Jake Diamond was his mentor! He taught him everything he knows!"
"Oh Jimmy, I don't think I'll be able to watch this match! I mean my little Jakey Pooh and my little Irish clover in a hardcore rules match?!"
"Don't forget Ray that this match can end in almost every way a regular match can, with the exception of disqualification and count out. So it could be just as simple as a quick pin fall to end this. Still, knowing the relentless 'never say die' attitudes of both of these men, I think it'll take more than a simple pin to end this..."
