I've already informed Steven McClure of this, but I figured I would go ahead and address the rest of the staff and roster as well.
I won't be participating in matches the next two weeks. I'm a wrestler on my high school team, and this past season, I finished third place in state. I was seeded fourth going into the tournament, lost to the first seed in the semi-finals, and defeated the second seed in the consolation finals, earning third place. All in all, I beat three seeded wrestlers, one who was seeded above me, I was the closest win the first seed had (he pinned the third seed in the finals in 1:23 while he only beat me by points, so I believe I can beat the guy that placed second), and won the most matches out of every single wrestler at the tournament because my name was drawn to face the wild card in the first round.
So, because of my superlative performance in state, I was selected to be on the wrestling team which represents Louisiana at all national tournaments (Team Louisiana). We've been having practices as it is, but we have a whole other week of practice in the coming days, and the national tournament at Virginia Beach, VA is next week.
So, due to my strenuous practice schedule set forth by my coach on Team Louisiana, and the tournament next week, I will not be able to participate in matches for the following two weeks.
