As the thumbtacks cover the ring, the cameras cut to the announcer's table for the pre-match analysis.
Ray White: "Ladies and Gentlemen, Demon could not be with us tonight, and instead, you'll be seeing his replacement battle Desperado."
Jimmy: "I've heard Despy's opponent is less of a moron, and more of a class act."
Following Pate's comment, "Vendetta" by Slipknot suddenly begins blaring over the speakers to the chagrin, and not the plaudits of the audience. As the curtains quickly part, the undefeated, Pure Canadian emerges, a mischeavous grin manifesting on his Canadian mug. As his sly smirk widens, the crowd can almost hear the discouraging sounds of Pate's stomach turning in disgust.
"Spoke too soon!
"Perfect! Now we've got a contest!"
Khristian Gore, draped in a large, Canadian flag, turns his head slowly in both directions, surveying the ruckus, yet abhorrent crowd. With great pride, Gore slowly outstretches his arms, extending the flag, whilst lifting his head to the sky with utmost enthusiasm, further spurring the rage of the crowd. As Lizzie Morna begins speaking into the mic, Khristian commences his saunter down to the ring.
Lizzie Morna: "The following is a Thumbtack Deathmatch! Introducing first, hailing from Toronto, Ontario, he is the self proclaimed "Bonafied Wrestling Machine", the "Pure Canadian".....KHRISTIAN GORE"
The Pure Canadian quickly passes the nearby ring attendant his beloved flag before entering the ring, cautiously pushing the thumbtacks with his boots, trying to settle his pre-match jitters.
