Andrew Porter steps to the center of the ring, microphone in hand as the crowd silences, eager for the next contest to begin.
"Ladies and Gentlemen... the following contest is a 60 Minute Pure Wrestling Iron Man match as chosen by the champion. Falls will be awarded by Pinfall, Submission, Disqualification, and Countout. At the end of 60 minutes, the man with the most falls will be awarded the Imperial Title."
The crowd gives a small cheer, Andrew turning his attention to the titantron as it springs to life.
"Introducing first... hailing from Sighisoara, Romania and weighing in at 234 lbs... he is the reigning Imperial Champion, the Godking... VLADIMIR T. STRIFE!"
'Perfection Or Vanity' strikes up as the King makes his way through the back and onto the stage. The crowd lights up, showering the SCW original in praise as he makes his way towards the squared circle step by step. The Titan takes it slow and easy, tagging the outstretched palms of several fans along the way with the knowledge in mind that the next 60 minutes will be used to test every bit of skill he's acquired throughout his wrestling career.
The Behemoth finally stops at the steel steps, climbing up them and through the ropes into the ring.
Sang: This has easily been one of the most heated rivalries going into this pay per view. Dave claims he's going to end Vladimir's career, but it's not exactly a new claim. People have been saying that since day one and yet here he stands. Trix: But Vlad has never faced Dave Carter. This is a man who has slowly been studying the King for years, waiting for his chance to get into the ring with him. I wouldn't count him out for a second.
Standing in his corner now, Vlad stares to the entrance, waiting for the arrival of the man he's been dying for weeks now to get his hands upon.

Lights in the arena go a little bit dim and a video of a storm begins to play on the ButcherTron. Soon after, "Black Sheep" by Saliva hits the P.A. system. Out from the back steps out Dave Carter, making the crowd erupt in loud boos. I was born into a curse An outlaw straight from birth My mama danced around a fire And pulled me from the dirt I live out in the woods I'm not misunderstood Maybe you're thinkin' that I won't I'm thinkin' that I wouldDave Carter wears a pair of black wrestling thighs with a yellow mean smiley symbol on both sides of the thighs, a pair of black wrestling boots and an open black vest with the words "The Lightning" written on the back. The looks in Party Riser's face shows pure confidence and determination. It's clear that Carter is sticking to his claims to end Strife's career tonight, but not for one second is he underestimating his opponent. After looking around the crowd for a moment, Carter locks his eyes on the ring and Vlad anxiously awaiting there. Dave slowly lifts both his arms up to the air, with one finger on each hand pointing up.That's why I'm dressed in black Ain't ever comin' back Cause I'm the black sheep of the family. No, you look the other way I'll spit right in your face Cause I'm the black sheep of the family~~Andrew Porter~~Introducing the challenger... from Vancouver, Canada... weighing in at 208 pounds... Dave "The Lightning" Carter!Dave begins to make his way down towards the ring, taking of his vest and throwing it down to the ground along the way. He slides into the ring under the bottom rope and instantly jumps back on his feet, not letting his eyes away from the GodKing even for a slight moment. One, one sick son of a gun I'm crushin' you for fun Don't find yourself on the wrong end Of anything I've done Cause I'll lay you to waste I guess I like the taste I'll take you out the back door And shoot you right in the face~~Trix~~Here is member of the Outcasts, Dave Carter himself. You think he knows what he's doing? Is he prepared enough?~~Sang~~Can you really be prepared enough when you're fighting Vladimir Strife?~~Trix~~Good point. But the way Dave has been trying Strife's patience, getting under his skin. I think he knows what he's doing. Vladimir should be really careful with him.As Carter's theme dies down, Andrew Porter is about to leave the ring and allow the match to start, but before he does, Dave stops him and rips the mic out of his hands. Seeing this, Vladimir shouts at his opponent, that the talking time is over, but the Lightning ignores this and instead rises the mic up to his mouth while looking at the GodKing.~~Dave Carter~~Calm down Vlad. The 1 hour torrent I'm going to put you through won't be long to begin. And I wasn't going to say anything, I said what I had to say, I gave you the warnings and heads up. You had your chance to re-think what you're getting yourself into. That time is over. But you see, I saw something today that answered so many questions. More importantly - it answered the one big question... What has happened to the all mighty GodKing, Vladimir Tepes Strife. What is the reason of him becoming soft, of him becoming a pathetic weak creature in comparison of once unbeatable Behemoth... You have no idea what I'm talking about Vlad, huh? Well let me as you this then... How's Daphne doing? If at first Vlad didn't really cared about what Carter had to say, once the Outcasts mentioned Daphne, the expression on Strife's face instantly changed. Even though the Hardcore King is still confused what Dave is talking about, the Lightning has his full attention now.~~Dave Carter~~How's she's doing, Vlady? And how, oh how... is the little Strife doing? That's right, Vlad, I know about you, Daphne and that coming child of yours. My, oh my, can you believe it. Vlady is going to be a daddy. Very soon, the world will the see the birth of Hardcore King Jr! It's just too bad you won't be seeing it. After tonight you won't able to take care of yourself, much less a baby. But don't you worry... Being the good guy I am, I'm going to take care of both Daphne and your child. I'll make sure they have a good life... And I'll make sure that the child of yours won't ever find out of what a pathetic and fake excuse of a human being his real father was...While Vladimir always kept his cool during this whole feud and remained calm, what Carter just said pushed the Strife over the edge. Rage is burning in his eyes. Not hesitating one second, Vladimir steps up to Dave and slaps the taste of his mouth, even sending Carter stumbling backwards as only the ropes prevent him from falling down on his backside.

As the bell sounds for the official start of the contest, the King wastes no time in his attack, running at Dave and stretching out his arm. The limb catches the Outcast across the collarbone, tilting him on the top rope before shoving him over and down to the floor below with a plop. While the audience erupts in cheers, the referee steps in front of their favorite and warns him to back off and allow him to start the 10 count.
"1! ...2!"
Sang: Way to go, big bro! I think Vlad just taught Mr. Carter a lesson on why respect is important. Trix: That's one way to put it. Another would be that not even ten seconds into this match, he's showing that he has absolutely no respect for the rules!
Already, the Party Riser has taken back to a vertical base, more insulted and angered by far than down and out.
"Th-"
Before he can count the futile 3, the zebra striped official is lightly pushed aside, clearing the path for the Imperial Champion who flings himself over the top rope. The Lightning looks back towards the ring just in time to catch the falling Romanian. The challenger's legs give way to the weight and he becomes pancaked against the padding and loses precious wind from his lungs. Strife pushes off of the GHW original to his knees, running his fingers through his hair and shaking his head at his foe's misfortune. He then slips his fingers into Dave's hair, grabbing a handful of follicles and using them to bring the Outcast to his feet as he stands. As the bell rings out again, the GodKing stops in his track, he and the Concord crowd looking towards the official with confusion.
Trix: Wait, what's going on? Why did the bell ring? Sang: Beats me... There hasn't even been a pin or submission attempt yet and I know they haven't been out of the ring 10 seconds yet.
Andrew Porter picks up a microphone and stands up, calming down the crowd so that he can clarify everything.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the first fall of this contest has been awarded to Dave 'THE LIGHTNING' Carter by means of disqualification for Vladimir Strife pushing the referee."
Sang: WHAT THE HELL!? That's such bullshit! Trix: Hey, a rule is a rule, Sang. Maybe your boy has been in too many hardcore matches to remember it, but you simply CAN'T lay your hands on the referee.
The crowd jeers their distaste for the call and the King unhands his opponent, looking to the official from under his furrowed eyebrows. The referee simply grabs at his own shirt though and yells a reminder at the champion that it is illegal to put his hands on him. Vlad climbs onto the apron, only to be pulled back from it by the foe he'd seemingly forgotten. Before he can register what is going on, the Lightning uses his advantage to thrust the Behemoth towards the corner of the squared circle, sending his skull bouncing off of the steel post. While the King crumbles, Dave slips back under the bottom rope into the legal bounds, yelling at the man in the striped shirt to start the count again.
"1! ...2! ...3! ...4! ...5! ...6!"
With the legend from SCW barely moving, the fans scream praise at the top of their lungs to try to motivate him. With another call from the official, Strife seems to be responding to the crowd, loosely grabbing onto the turnpost. Yet another cry comes from the ring, finding the King on one knee now as he gathers his bearings. The cheers begin to come in even louder now, the Impaler forcing himself to both feet to meet the subsequent 9. He rolls himself into the ring finally, greeted by the sound of metal on metal once more to signal his tardiness.
"The second fall of this contest has also been awarded to Dave Carter for a victory by countout!"
The Romanian Scourge crosses his fingers over his head and shakes it in disbelief, looking to the titantron just in time to see the final second of the match's first minute tick away. True to Dave's words, the sight begins to eat away at his mind, the Lightning driving him mad slowly but surely - even with 59 minutes left to battle.
Sang: OH, COME ON!! Trix: HA! 2 falls for Dave in less than a minute! So much for the mighty GodKing! Vlad should just go ahead and hand over the title and leave with the little bit of dignity he has left. This is starting to look like a replay of the Kimbo Slice story!
Strife grabs the middle rope and stands up straight, Carter watching him with a smug smile, knowing he has enough of an advantage now that he can relax a bit. Up to his feet, the GodKing, however, has different plans. He charges the Lightning feverishly and pays for the mistake, Dave diving left and trapping Vlad's ankle between his feet, tripping him and dropping him onto his face. Opting out on a follow-up, the champion rolls to the outside, standing by the apron as his opponent gets back up. As their eyes meet, the rage boiling inside the Romanian is obvious. He storms the ring again, sliding in and making a beeline for the Canadian, who slips out to ringside to avoid the wrath he's incurred.
Sang: What is he up to now? Knock off the tricks, wrestle already! Trix: When will you realize that there's more to wrestling than physical action? It all starts with the mind, Sang.
"Get back into the ring!"
Dave shakes his head, yelling back at the official.
"Back him the hell up! Do your job already!"
The referee does so, ordering the King back into the far corner while Carter climbs back in. The men run forward when the man in the stripes steps aside. Vlad, anxious to get his hands on the Outcast, comes in too headstrong to stop as Dave drops low with a baseball slide and passes untouched between his legs. The Behemoth swings around with his arm already out, knowing his opponent should be closing in soon. Keeping up his slyness, the Party Riser ducks under the clothesline and continues running forward. Nearing in toward the ropes, he flips himself forward, catching himself with his hands and letting his body slam into the cables. They push his weight back to where it came from, sending him back to his feet just as the Impaler turns around.
The stage is set perfectly for the Canadian as he springs into the air and twists himself around, shooting a foot out with sights set on the cheekbone of the Bad Lad. Vlad steals a page from Dave's page, bowing gracefully and missing out on the infamous 'Headshot!'. The Outcasts corrects himself, managing to land on the foot meant to score the next fall and avoid a nasty fall. No sooner does the smirk cross his mouth in pride than it is batted away by the GodKing as he tilts his body and blasts the sole of his boot into the chin of the Party Riser, curving his body and twisting slightly to accommodate the shot. Carter is dropped in place, falling into perfect position for the Imperial champion as he plops himself down on top of him and scoops up the nearest leg of his enemy.

The match official reacts immediately and drops down onto his knees right beside the two men. As Dave's shoulder blades are firmly pressed against the ring canvas and Vladimir on top on Dave, with Carter's leg being hooked tightly, the referee acknowledges this as a legal pinfall attempt. Not wasting another moment, the man in the zebra shirt rises his right arm up in the air, before allowing the gravity to do it's work and bring his arm down to slap the mat. After shouting out loudly "One!", the referee repeats the process, rising his arm up again. As it had for millions of years, the Newton's law of universal gravitation continues to work here and the law enforcer of this bout taps the mat for the second time. This time his shout out of the number "Two!" is accompanied by thousands of people in the attendance, anxiously awaiting for the GodKing to score his first fall. Unfortunately, that will not be happening at this moment. Just before the match official goes to complete the classical three count, Carter's left arms suddenly rises off the canvas, lifting his left shoulder blade just enough for the referee to see this and stop the count. Vladimir rolls of Dave and looks a little disappointed, but not surprised. The emotions haven't yet completely overtaken his mind and Strife realizes that one kick just isn't what it takes to bring the self-proclaimed Show Starter down. More damage need to be done before he can start closing up the gap between the scores. The Hardcore King also now knows, that not so good for him result of 2-0 flashing on the ButcherTron is his own fault. Vladimir allowed his anger and strong desire to rip Carter into peaces has led to Dave simply outsmarting him. But he isn't going to do that anymore. Strife is now determinate to prevent this in the future, so wasting no more time he instantly goes back to work on his opponent. As he makes his way back up to his feet, he notices that Dave is trying to do the same. Yet while Strife has a pissed off and determined man's look on his face, Carter's look more or less is just saying "What the fuck did just ran into my face?". This doesn't concern the GodKing one bit, though, as he brushes his fingers of both hands across Dave's black hair, before tightly grabbing on to it. By quickly pulling Lightning's hair, Strife also pulls the whole body of his opponent, sort of "helping" him to return to vertical stance. Yet the Party Riser doesn't remain in that position for too long. While Dave's hair is still firmly in Vlad's grasp, the enraged behemoths shoots one of his knees up and it's not too long before Strife's kneecap connects with Carter's belly, taking the breath out of the cocky Outcast. The knee strike also causes the Show Started to double over, at which point the Imperial Champion releases his opponents hair with one hand, but still holds on to it tightly with the other. Spinning his body backwards by 180 degrees, Vladimir places himself beside the challenger for his title. He then locks his eyes on one of the ring turnbuckles and immediately starts running toward it, bringing Dave along the way. Just before he hits the corner himself, Strife hits the breaks and stops dead on his track. The Outcast, however, doesn't share the same fate, as not only he isn't able to stop, but a strong push on the head by the Hardcore King forces Carter's face smashing into the corner pad with some strong impact.
~~Sang~~ Finally Vlad is in control of this match, like it was supposed to be from the begging.
~~Trix~~ But it wasn't, thanks to the brother of your not being able to keep his head cool.
~~Sang~~ Hey, watch your words. So he got carried away a bit. Doesn't matter. He still has over 55 minutes. And I am sure he will make Carter suffer every second of that time.
~~Trix~~ Well, we shall find out soon.
As Carter's head bounces of the corner pad, the GodKing completely releases the locks of his opponent's black hair and instead twists him around, pressing Dave's back against the ring turnbuckle. Having his enemy trapped in the corner, the Imperial Champion is able to unleash his fury to its optimum, finally being able to deal some serious payback to the Party Riser. And he doesn't hold back to do just that. Vladimir rises his right arm to his shoulder level and pulls it back a bit, before thrusting his fist forward with some momentum. Soon enough, Vlad's knuckles connect with it's initial target, Carter's forehead, knocking Lightning's head backwards a bit. With a blink of an eye, Strife pulls his fist back again and repeats the process. The interval between punches gets shorter and shorter as the Romanian continues to swings his fist at Dave like mad, almost like's he's trying to bust Carter open, make him bleed with his bare hands. And of course, everyone knows that the Hardcore King is capable of doing that. Will Vladimir force Dave to bleed is a question that won't answered at this moment, though. Hard, stiff punches to the forehead are clearly taking their toll on the Show Starter and his consciousness. After over a dozen of hits to the head, Carter has become groggy and his legs gave in, thus a free fall brings him down on to his backside. This, however, doesn't not interrupt enraged attack of Vladimir Strife, as instead of using his arms, the behemoth goes on to use his legs for offense. It does indeed go from bad to worse for the Outcast here. Not only is Carter not able to defend himself right now, even though he didn't really defend himself from those punches anyway, but the Imperial Champion can now put in his whole body strength into his strikes. And that is just what he does. The Hardcore King grabs the top rope with both of his hands, wrapping his fingers around the firmly around it. Instantly he puts his body weight into work and begins to viciously stomp his challenger. Like nail shots, Vlad's wrestling boot strikes Dave's bear chest and belly, leaving clear red marks on them. Along the way, attack on the chest is an attack on the lungs, and it takes the air right out of arrogant Party Riser. As the powerful stomps continue, it looks like Vlad is going to put a whole right through Carter with his foot, if not leave him flat like a sheet of paper. But alas, that is another question that will not be answered, as man in the zebra shirt steps in to the picture. The match official is like a savior for Carter, as he pulls Vladimir out of the corner from behind, thus finally ending Strife's offense and allowing Dave to catch his breath. The Sighisoara native isn't too happy about this, however, and he quickly spins around on one foot to face the referee, who hasn't been quite friendly with his calls towards Vladimir so far. With clear rage in his eyes, Strife begins to scream at the ref. Even though the match official tries to explain himself, saying that the fight needs to be taken out of the ring corner, it's pretty clear that the GodKing doesn't give a damn about it and he doesn't quite appreciate anyone stepping in between him dealing out the rightful punishment to Carter.
~~Trix~~ Hasn't Vladimir learned his lesson yet? Disrespecting and abusing the referee isn't going to get him anywhere.
~~Sang~~ Vladimir is pissed and rightfully so. The ref should just do his job and make the counts when he has to.
~~Trix~~ The way I see it, he is doing his job. He is keeping this match in order. So what if he is Vladimir Strife, even he has to obey the rules.
The altercation between the man in the black and white stripped shirt and the Imperial Champion is the slight pause and distraction the cocky Show Started needed to turn the things around. It not only allows Carter to recover and gather up some strength again, but also prove just what a sneaky bastard he has become. As silently as he can, the Lightning crawls up to his toughest opponent to this date from behind and with no remorse shoves his arm between Vlad's legs, before trusting it up, thus smashing his biceps into Strife family jewels. Instantly GodKing's eyes fill up with water and pain signals sting his brain. The face expression of Hardcore King gets a loud "Ohhhh!" from the crowd, as pretty much everyone can tell just what pain the Imperial Champion is going through. Interestingly enough, that is not the whole plan of the Lightning. Right after the illegal strike, Dave pulls Vladimir backwards and over himself, forcing him to fall straight onto his back. While his arm is still wrapped around one of Strife's legs, Carter uses his body weight to press his opponent shoulders against the canvas. The referee looks on confused about what to do, but when the Outcast turns to him and orders to make the count, the official chooses to follow. Yet he doesn't look to happy or sure about what he's doing. Still, going through with the match process, the referee drops down to his knees and begins to make the count. Same as before, he rises his arm up before allowing gravity to do it's work, following up every mat slap with a ascending number.
Referee: 1...... 2......
Everyone is waiting anxiously for the GodKing to kick out and break the pin attempt. But unfortunately, every male that has ever been struck in the nuts, knows that the pain it causes just drains the energy out of the body. And even as unbeatable as he is, even the Vladimir Strife himself isn't immune to the infamous low blow. Even though he would love to throw Carter of himself, the once undefeated Titan just isn't able to find the strength for that at the moment. Thus, to no surprise, the hand of the match official does slap the canvas for the third time, completing the three-count successfully.
~~Trix~~ And Vladimir Strife has been pinned!
~~Sang~~ What?! That is the biggest BS ever! Carter low blowed Vlad! He should have been disqualified.
The ring announcer once again is appointed to rise the mic up to his mouth and make the announcement.
~~Andrew Porter~~ The third fall of this contest has been awarded to Dave "The Lightning" Carter as a result of a pinfall.
Instantly after Andrew's words, fans in the audience break out into a chorus of boos. The whole situation looks like a complete screwjob, everyone saw Carter using illegal tactics to score this pinfall. Yet, this doesn't matter to the Party Riser one bit. After he finally releases of his opponents leg, Dave rolls into the middle of the squared circle and sits up. A disgusting and sinister smile appears on his face. At the same time he slowly lifts his right arm above his head. Three of his right hand's fingers are also risen, indicating that he has now scored three falls on his Romanian opponent. Everything seems to be going well with his plan. Carter goes on to make his way back up to his feet and takes a look at the ButcherTron, still with that smile on his face. The screen now indicates the score being 3-0. Not only has he have a clear advantage, but his opponent is still down and only trying to recover. Yet, to a huge shock of Carter and everyone in the arena, the score in the screen suddenly changes. The big "0" that was on Vlad's side suddenly changes into a "1". As does Dave's face expression, the huge grin he had is nowhere to be seen now. The strange change in the match result is soon explained, though, as Andrew Porter once again pics up the microphone and allows his voice to be heard across the arena.
~~Andrew Porter~~ Ladies and gentlemen, the fourth fall of this contest has been awarded to Vladimir Strife by means of disqualification for Dave Carter using illegal attack.
The man in the zebra shirt has indeed seen Carter low blowing the Hardcore King and has acknowledged this. But this an Iron Man match, thus there are no pauses and no interruptions to the match process. Therefore Dave's pin attempt was legal and referee had no other choice but to make the count. He, however, made things straight and during the time Dave celebrated his third fall, the referee went on to explain everything to other staff at ringside and informed Andrew to make the announcement.
~~Sang~~ There is justice after all.
~~Trix~~ And you were complaining about the referee before. He is doing his job just the way he should.
One man in the arena doesn't quite agree with Trix, however. To no surprise that man is Dave Carter. Even though he knows perfectly that he used illegal tactics against his opponent, the Lightning has become too arrogant to openly admit it. Instead of continuing with the match, he opts to get into referee's face and confront him. The first ten minutes of the match are just now coming to an end, and yet the referee had more then plenty to deal with. Once again he has to argue with one of the match participants. But as before, the official stands strong on his decision and Carter's claims that he is innocent have no effect to the man in the zebra shirt. What it might have effect on is Dave's on well-being. As he is wasting time to pointless arguments, his opponent, Vladimir, is using the time he has to regain his strength and begins to make his way to vertical stance. Using ropes for support, slowly but steadily he stands back up on his feet and turns to face Carter. Even more then before, his eyes are burning with rage and the reasons for that are clear. A strike to the manhood like the one Dave pulled on Vlad is not something you forget or forgive. So when the Lightning decides he's not gonna reach anything by arguing with the ref and turns his attention to Vladimir, he sees something he didn't expect and definitely didn't want to see. And that's one extremely pissed off behemoth, ready to charge at him full force.
~~Trix~~ The Imperial Champion is finally back on his feet.
~~Sang~~ Yep, and Dave is about to find out just why payback is a bitch.
The Canadian blinks and the next thing he sees is Vladimir running towards him full speed like a bull. With adrenaline rushing through his body and revenge set on his mind, Strife is quicker then Lightning himself. The Romanian extends his arm to the side and before Carter can even decide of what to do, the GodKing runs right past him, knocking his opponent down to the mat with a quick clothesline in the process. It doesn't quite keep Dave down for long as he bounces of the canvas and right back to his feet. It does however leave him open for Vlad's offense. Strife wastes little to no time and is quickly there in Show Starter's face, swinging fists. Hardcore King's knuckle sandwiches are dealt to Carter once again, bruising his forehead furthermore. Yet this time the Romanian stops after only delivering four punches. Instead he grabs the dizzy Canadian by his arms and whips him to the ropes, adding a little shove to the back with one hand for that extra momentum. Soon enough Carter's body hits the ring ropes and slingshots of them, at which point the bad ass behemoth lifts one of his legs up in the air, aiming to both the Outcast in the face again. Fortunately for Dave, that doesn't happen, as he is able to regain control of his own body and duck under Vladimir's leg the very last second, avoiding a very close meeting with Strife's wrestling boot. Things seem to continue to go well for the Party Riser. He is able to stop himself right when he gets behind his almost 270 pound opponent and immediately reaches over his shoulders, grabbing Strife by the sides of his head. It seems to that Dave is looking to lock the fingers of both his hands on the GodKing's face, thus setting him up for a neckbreaker. But the Romanian behemoth reacts quickly and demonstrates once again why indeed he had that undefeated streak for so long. Vladimir reaches out and places his hands on Dave's arm, then quickly twists his body, turning around. Thanks to his strength, this also breaks the almost lock on his head by Carter, as well it forces the Lightning himself to turn around and face the Imperial Champion. Tables are turned and now Strife is the one to grab his opponent by the sides of the head. Yet he's going for something far more devastating then Dave did. The Romanian moves one step closer and squats a bit, placing his shoulder right bellow the jaw of the Show Starter, who is a little shocked at the moment. Vlad not only reversed his move, but so far seem to be quicker then him, which does not happen often. Feeling of surprise is quickly replaced by deep pain, though. The SCW original continues on with his attack and forces his feet up of the canvas, thus dropping onto his knees. At the same time he continues to hold Carter's head and drag it jaw first into his shoulder, delivering a vicious Sinnerplex. With the condition of Dave's teeth and mandible being in question now, the Canadian falls flat on his back, smashing into the mat at the middle of the ring.
TBC by Vladimir OOC: Well this ended up being longer then I thought it will. Sorry Vlad...

With his opponent down and (seemingly) out, Strife takes the opportunity to go for a pinfall, aiming to bring himself back into a respectable running in the contest. The official drops down to the canvas beside the stars, hand poised and ready as he slaps the mat. Quickly bringing it right back into the air, the referee pounds down again, the second count landing in unison with the raising of the Lightning's shoulder. The champion comes up to his knees and slides his fingers across his scalp, taking a handful of hair with a tug to vent his frustration. The Outcast is coming to, crawling towards the ropes now as the King allows him, getting up to his own feet and waiting out the slow recovery of his enemy.
Trix: And Vlad just can't seem to keep Dave down. You know, Carter said going into this that Vlad wasn't nearly the man he used to be and obvious win, lose or draw, he's proven that. I mean, a year ago, scoring 1 fall, let alone 3, against Vlad would have been unfathomable. And yet, here we are at a count of 3 falls to Strife's measly 1. Sang: 3 falls that were all absolute bullshit, Trix! The referee disqualified Vlad for a minor technicality, he didn't even hurt him. If it wasn't for that, Dave couldn't have taken advantage and gotten the countout. And on top of that, he scored his third fall after blatantly cheating!
With the men now on their feet, the Lightning makes an unexpected move by stepping out through the ropes and down to the floor. In his experience as a wrestler, making the turn in the ring while your opponent had the upper hand was never a successful tactic. Despite the instinct to turn and fight, Dave begins to walk away, a call coming up from the middle of the ring as the man in zebra stripes makes his way slowly towards the 10. The key to his legendary foe's success, as Dave now saw it, was the ability to be prepared for anything, because inside the squared circle, men operated solely on instinct without time to think. As the King rolls out of the ring and begins to follow the Outcast, Carter smiles in the satisfaction that he's already learned how effective a thought out plan can devastate even the mighty GodKing's agenda.
Hearing a footfall just behind him, the challenger turns with a wild right that catches the chin of Vladimir and sets him back a step. Another one follows, as the zebra-stripe clad man calls off a 6. Dave finishes his attack with a hard shoulder block, shoving the off guard Strife towards the barricade. As the King's ribs connect with it painfully, the Lightning bolts for the ring, slipping in under the bottom rope slyly and hoping to score another countout. The Impaler pushes aside his misery for the moment, looking to the Butchertron at the tally before sprinting after the Outcast. As the referee calls off the 9, the Behemoth bursts back in similar fashion to his foe, rewarded for his effort by a flurry of vicious stomps despite narrowly evading a 4th lost fall.
Sang: And that, right there, is why Vlad is still going to end up winning! Dave can use his trickery all he wants, but the King catches on to them too fast to try it again like that. Trix: That would make PERFECT sense... if Dave was a one trick pony. He's not though, so it's going to be one thing after another until you're using these same excuses to tell people why Vlad will win the title back.
The heavy boots continue to rain down upon the King as he struggles to make headway towards a vertical stance. The referee shouts a warning at the Outcast, causing a break in the onslaught and allowing the Czar of Scars a chance to fight back. He rises to his feet, thrusting out a palm to push Carter back and make some distance. The separation isn't enough though, the Lighting showing how he got his moniker by jumping and connecting his foot with the side of Strife's skull quicker than he can register what is going on. The Behemoth crumbles and finds himself on the bottom of another pinfall attempt, the enzuguiri leaving him near helpless as the count begins.
"1!"
"2!"
The third count goes unannounced, troubling the Canadian as he looks towards the referee. The man in the striped shirt simply points to the ropes, Carter following his direction to find a foot stretched across the lowermost cable.
Sang: A good move by Vlad there, using his foot to stop the count. Trix: It's only a temporary save though. Considering how he's faired so far and the current score on the board, I'd say it's definitely only a matter of time now before we see a new Imperial champion crowned!
Getting back up, Dave latches onto the back of Vlad's neck, dragging him to his feet as well. He throws a stiff right into the cheekbone of the Solid Core veteran, sending him reeling back towards the corner. A secondary crack of the Lightning's knuckles forces him against the turnbuckle padding, leaving him to the mercy of the Outcast. A quick thrust of his knee lands unceremoniously in the gut of the GodKing, nearly doubling him over. A warning comes from behind once more, this time accompanied by a count that serves as a reminder of the fall Carter will give up if he doesn't back off. He's built up a head of steam, however, and opts to remove the Titan from the corner rather than relent his attack.
As if to shake it, Dave reaches across and grabs hold of the Impaler's hand, leaning in towards him to ready his plan. Throwing his weight back, Carter rips the champion away from the padding and heads him towards the opposing corner. He releases his hold on Vlad's hand, finding to his shock that the motion is unreturned. Strife stays firm to the handshake, spinning himself in towards the Lightning's arm before swinging his own free limb around and across it. He forgets his legs, allowing himself to drop down to the mat and forcing his opponent along for the ride. The hit with a bang, the Titan having a Fujiwara armbar wide and open to him. Instead, he pulls the arm in between his thighs, pressing them down tightly onto it while wrapping his arms around the Outcast's head and interlocking his fingers. With a tug, he raises his enemies head off of the mat and pulls back on his neck, his trapped arm flailing as Dave futilely tries to free himself.
Sang: THE CROSSFACE! There is absolutely NO way Dave can hold on through that! Trix: While I'll admit that Vlad spinning himself in towards the Irish whip and using it to take Dave down and sink in that move was the most impressive WRESTLING he's ever done, I honestly doubt it's more than the Lightning can withstand, Sang. After all, how could he possibly give up when he has Strife down by 2 falls, exactly where he wants him?
Dave, understanding how vital it is to avoid injury in the match and that every second spent stuck was another of horrible agony and the growing chance of tearing a ligament or having the bone snapped, grudgingly taps. The ring bell sounds out and the GodKing rolls off of him, making his way to the apron where he sits and watches the screen. a '2' comes up in his favor as Andrew takes to the microphone again and announces the result.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the 5th fall of the night goes to Vladimir Strife via submission!"
Trix: I DON'T BELIEVE IT! Dave tapped! What the hell!? Sang: I told you he would! There was no way he was going to last in that hold long enough to reach the ropes. Vlad was going to get that fall even if it meant breaking that arm and I think Dave understood that perfectly.
The King applauds the announcement, enticing the crowd to follow suit. The arrogant gesture puts him in a dangerous situation though and only the Outcast fans end up cheering as a duo of flying boots connect with the back of Vlad's head and drop him to the outside. The dropkick has left a nearly perfect chance for Dave to pick up his second fall from a countout, but the Lightning is too blinded by anger at the moment to care for a 4th fall. Seething from the embarrassment of having submitted, Carter pursues the fallen Titan and makes quick work of getting him back to his feet. Propping him on the apron, the Party Riser leans Strife back and rolls him in, leaving little distance between them as he follows.
Trix: Vlad may have scored a quick fall, but Dave is right back on top of things and STILL in the lead! Sang: Fair enough, but it only takes 1 more time of something like that happening again and the score is tied. Now, I can't recall ever seeing an Ironman match end in a tie, but I'm sure that if it ends that way, the title isn't going to Dave. Trix: I wouldn't worry about that. Dave scored 2 falls in the first minute of this match and he's got just around 45 to rack up more. He's not done with Vlad yet by a longshot!
Back in the ring, the Lightning stands tall over the legendary GodKing, sending blow after blow down across the top of his scalp to the chagrin of the crowd and the official. He steps in with a warning to make sure he isn't using closed fists, Dave throwing him the finger before going back to work. He lifts Strife up, draping the Impaler's arms across his thighs before slipping a few fingers into each side of his mouth. The fishhook camel clutch, despite being cruel and punishing, is completely legal, the referee getting into place to call the submission should Carter make good on his revenge.
Trix: Just as I was saying! Now, let's see how well Vlad holds out when he's the one in the clutches of the Lightning!
To the surprise of Trix and Dave both, Strife seems to fair rather well, fighting through the pain as he wraps his arms around the legs of the Lightning and begins pushing his way back up. Within moments, he finds himself standing again, holding the Outcast like a backpack. He launches himself into the corner, pancaking Carter behind him and causing him to break the fishhook, much to his own relief. Vlad stumbles away from it, turning himself around to face the challenger to his title. The Party Riser is nowhere near done for, however, shooting high with a kick and planting it across the temple of the monolithic Monarch.
Vlad backs into his own corner now, Dave shooting out from his and across the ring towards him. Instead of mounting an attack, Carter throws himself against the ropes next to the Titan and bounces off of them, racing back near where he came from. Halfway across the ring, he flips forward onto his hands, his momentum taking a share of the work as it flings him into the nylon cables, his weight being rebounded as the GodKing pushes off of the turnbuckles and steps in closer to the Outcast. Strife takes a mighty step in closer, meeting the Lightning as he flips back onto the soles of his feet. Before the 'Bang, Headshot! Have A Nice Day!' can come to fruition, the Impaler closes in the distance and twists his arms around the midsection of the Canadian aerialist, locking tightly into place. The Czar rips the peasant off of his feet and spins on his heels, turning his back to the nearby ropes and slamming himself into them. He releases his catch gracelessly, hurling Dave over the top rope and down to the unforgiving floor.
The Lightning crashes shoulders-first ten feet below where he was dropped, a clap of human flesh resonating from the impact. He flops over onto his stomach, his crash landing received with a chorus of "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!" whilst an exhausted King drops to his knees inside the ring. The referee takes his place and begins the count, his words drowned out by the roaring attendance.
Sang: YEEEESSSSSSS!!! German Suplex to the outside! Simply phenomenal!! Trix: It was a cheap and lucky move by Vlad, which could have seriously injured Dave! How can you think about a fall when we just seen one of the nastiest spills I've ever witnessed happen here and now!? He could have a dislocated shoulder or a pinched vertebrae! You should be ashamed of yourself!
Regardless of the falls severity, the bout must continue, the officiating staff member continuing his count as he passes '6'. No movement is seen from the Outcast for 2 more seconds, at which point he is too late and worn down to manage his way out of it, only making his way to both feet in time to hear the microphone crackle to life.
"The 6th fall of this contest is awarded to Vladimir Strife by means of a countout!"
With the score evened up and 40 minutes left to go, Dave slides back in as the referee backs the King up, leaving room for the Lightning to recover. The fans stand around the arena, screaming various words of encouragement for the Romanian Scourge as he takes to his corner, eyes peering across onto the Outcast, hungry with anticipation for more.

As Vladimir anxiously waits for the referee to step aside and allow the action to continue, his Canadian opponent doesn't quite rush to make his way back to vertical stance. Instead the former SJN hero takes his time, kneeling on one knee, taking deep breaths to refill his blood cells with precious oxygen. At the same time he keeps his eyes on the Romanian beast, standing just across the ring, looking a lot more confident than he did just five or so minutes ago. Tables have indeed turned, the score is equal and Dave now feels that he has to re-think all that just happened and plan out a new strategy. The GodKing is living up to his name and proves yet again that if you choose to mess with him, you're in for a fight like none other in this world. Carter continues to drag on time, trying to recover as much as possible, yet he can't really stay back there in the corner for long. The referee is already shouting at him to get up, not to mention Vlad, who is almost unable to control himself, craving to get his hands on the Show Starter again. Thus, wishing to avoid being attacked by the Hardcore King while unprepared, eventually Dave is forced back up on his own two feet. It seems, though, that the Outcast managed to plan something and right after the man in the white and black striped shirt steps away, Carter lifts his right arm up slightly and points at his Romanian opponent with his other hand's index finger. The gesture catches Strife by surprise and he looks at the Lightning confused, yet prepared for anything. The Canadian cruiserweight gives a small smirk in response to Vladimir's reaction, before taking away his left hand from the behemoth and positioning it the same way as his right arm is. These actions are followed by loud words from the Party Riser's mouth, directed at his opponent: "Let's see how well you do real wrestling!". This one sentence now makes it clear to Strife that Dave is calling for a classical and very common in wrestling lock-up, obviously taunting Vlad's wrestling ability. The Romanian doesn't look to sure about this, not sure if it's not just another trick by the shifty Outcast, but eventually raises his arms up to a position for a lock-up as well. Even though Strife doubts Carter's intentions, he isn't gonna allow anyone, especially the Lightning, to question his skills.
~~Trix~~ I think finally we'll see some proper wrestling.
~~Sang~~ Unless it's just another attempt by Carter to cheat.
~~Trix~~ Why are you so pessimistic about Dave and his actions? Your brother isn't really quite the golden boy himself, you know.
As the two men approach each other, pure concentration can be seen in their faces and especially their eyes. Both Vlad and Dave look prepared to lock-up, thus test their strength and grappling ability, yet both hesitate at the same time. Neither one wants to make a mistake. Past 20 minutes proved to everyone that every mistake in this match can cost dearly and turn the whole flow of the match to the opposite direction. Finally, Carter is the first one to make a move. However, it's not the move that fans in attendance and even Strife himself was expecting. Instead of going for a lock-up, the Show Starter makes one step towards his Romanian opponent, and then one quick step to the side. Maybe Dave had second thoughts about engaging a strength battle with 269 pound behemoth, maybe this was the plan from the start, who knows. But instead of going for what he called for, the Party Riser ducks under Vladimir's arms and quickly wraps his own upper limbs around GodKing's waist. Instantly, member of the infamous Outcasts attempts to adjust himself and his waist lock, so that he would be able to execute some sort of maneuver. Unfortunately for him, Strife in a way was expecting this, thus reacted quickly. The Hardcore King pulls in his elbow to his chest as much as his body allows him to, before thrusting it backwards. The elbow smashes into the side of Carter's skull with strong impact, challenging the Lightning to remain in vertical position. Although he manages to cope with this task, maintaining the waist-lock on Vladimir is something Dave isn't able to do. Free again, so to say, the Romanian wastes little to no time to go into offense himself. As the Show Starter stumbles back for few feet, the Czar of Scars spins his body, positioning himself to face the same side as his opponent does. A moment later, Vlad throws his near arm over his opponents shoulder, kinda like the two were good buddies. However, there is nothing friendly about Hardcore King's actions as he instantly bends the same arm and wraps it around Canadian's neck. With his other hand Strife grab's the wrist of previously mentioned arm, thus putting Dave in not really devastating, but always effective headlock.
~~Sang~~ Told you that Carter is going to try and cheat.
~~Trix~~ Cheat? All I see is some good old fashioned grappling.
With his scheme not going just the way he planned, the Lightning looks a bit lost and devastated. Vladimir applying pressure on his neck and this way cutting of the flow of air into his lungs ain't helping much either. Dave begins to struggle, trying to escape from this rather uncomfortable situation, but Strife isn't just yet prepared to let go, nor does he want to. The Lightning is forced to take a different course of actions and goes one to reach for the near leg of his Romanian opponent. After somehow managing to lock his hands on GodKing's nearer thigh, the Party Riser pulls it towards himself, sweeping one leg from under the unbeatable behemoth. The Titan does his best to try and maintain his balance, but it's rather hard to accomplish when you are holding onto someone that's struggling like a butterfly in the wind, giving his all just to get away. Eventually, Dave wins this mini battle, compelling the Czar to release the grip he has on Lightning's neck. With nothing left to grab onto, Strife has to admit his defeat by the hands of gravity, as he falls down to the canvas chest first. Facing the mat is not a good idea during a match, so the Hardcore King immediately flips over onto his back. Surprisingly enough, Carter still has his hands on one of Vladimir's legs and the look on his face clearly shows that he ain't intending to let go. Instead he runs his fingers down the behemoth's leg, while lifting it up at the same time, before trapping the lower part of Romanian's shin under his armpit. With one leg grasped tightly, The Show Starter goes to reach for the other one with the goal there being to trap it under the armpit as well. The living legend of SCW and the wrestling business in general, however, now foresees his opponent's evil agenda and realizes that if Dave is successful in his task, Vladimir might end up in some serious trouble, not to mention some serious pain.
~~Sang~~ What is Carter trying to do here now.
~~Trix~~ If I'm not mistaken, I think that the Lightning is going for his signature submission move, R-1. Get ready to see you brother tap.
~~Sang~~ Vladimir has never in his life quit during a match, and trust me, he never will.
Will or will not Vladimir quit if the R-1 is locked in is quite an interesting question, yet one to remain unanswered for the time being. The realization of trouble by Strife does not go of without actions. The GodKing uses his strength advantage over his lighter opponent to pull the Canadian in closer to himself. As Dave continues to clinch to Romanian's leg, the behemoth ruthlessly shoots his legs forward, pushing the Outcast backwards and eventually kicking him off. The young cruiserweight flies back first into the ropes and almost trips after bouncing of them, but manager to wrap his arms around the top rope at the last second and thus remain on his feet. The Monarch of EVPW at that time is rapidly recovering and soon enough sits up, locking his eyes on the sinful Canadian. The Party Riser does not reply with the same gesture, instead he leans back onto the ropes as much as he can and releases the grip on the top rope, slingshotting himself forward. This catches the Titan by surprise and before he is able to take any defensive measures, the Lightning is already up and crossing the air towards him. Strife closes his eyes and out of desperation attempts to lift his arms in front of his face, unfortunately, the Party Riser is just slightly quicker this time. As he is in mid-air, Dave bends his right leg over his knee and pulls it backwards, before thrusting it forward to Vladimir's skull. A few milliseconds later, Carter's shin bone collides with the Czar's jaw, the sickening impact making you think how many teeth has Strife just lost. The bump also knocks the Romanian's head backwards, sending it smashing into the ring canvas. This past one or two minutes was a good showing of classic wrestling, with neither man getting a clear advantage, but a lightning quick Shining Wizard out of nowhere and the pace of the match has completely changed. Yet again the Imperial Champion is down on his back and not moving, while his challenger looks on to cash in the opportunity. Attempting to catch his breath at the same time by taking deep breaths, Carter slides onto the fallen King and reaches for the nearest leg of the behemoth, hooking it up to try and ensure the pin attempt isn't broken before hand.
~~Trix~~ 4-3, Sang. And you can't blame anyone about this fall, it's perfectly clean and legal.
~~Sang~~ Don't get over excited. The count has been made yet.
The man in the zebra shirt once again has to earn his paycheck and get to work. He falls down to his knees just beside the two fierce competitors and lifts one of his arms high in the air, getting ready to begin the count. The ref's hand lands on the mat successfully and is lifted up in the air again. In anticipation to see how this will end, the crowd counts loudly with the referee: "One!". The official's hand taps the mat again and the word "Two!" is shouted out by most in the arena. The deciding hand is risen again and Dave looks at it anxiously, already hearing the magical "Three!" inside his mind. Unfortunately for him, that's the only place where that word is uttered, as just before referee's hand begins to fall down to the canvas, one of Vladimir's shoulders rises off it. The man in the zebra shirt does his job well and notices this instantly, thus stops the count. Strife also manages to throw the Outcast off himself, which probes to be a rather easy task. Just the feel of Romanian's shoulder coming of the mat shocks Carter. That's why he, without even trying to hold on, released the GodKing's leg and allows himself to be thrown off. The Canadian rolls on to his back and looks up to the ceiling of the arena, at the same time running his fingers through his hair. About 25 minutes in and Vladimir has not yet given in. This is not the scenario played out in Dave's head. Strife is living up to his words when he said that he's the toughest bastard in wrestling history. Just when it seemed that the Lightning had all figured out, that he cracked the Hardcore King mentally, he came back and enraged more then ever before. These past few minutes have now forced Carter to realize that without an advantage to drive Vlad crazy, it's gonna be one hell of job putting him down again.

As Dave takes hold of the GodKing's hair and begins pulling him to his feet, an idea springs up within his mind that if he can't drive Vladimir insane by holding an advantage over his head, he'll have to make due with alternative methods. He lets go of Vlad's hair as they both get back to their feet, stepping back from him and taking in a long look of the dazed Impaler. He lets fly with his right hand, planting it solidly across the cheek of the champion with a open hand and batting him back a step. Strife raises his hand to the affected cheek, a shock setting in from the disrespect of a slap by his opponent. His temper begins to get the better of him again following it, causing him to rush in, looking to take the Outcast's head off with a clothesline. The Party Riser, however, ducks the limb, anticipating such a reaction from his infamously rage filled foe.
Sang: Beat the holy hell out of him, Vlad! You can't just slap someone like that and not expect to get yourself nearly killed. That is just the ultimate lack of respect for an opponent. Trix: So? You're saying Dave has to respect Vlad? Sang: It should go without saying, but yes! Trix: Well, that might just be the most biased thing I've heard from you. I mean, Vlad may have the most impressive winning record within EVPW, but that doesn't mean Dave HAS to respect him! Besides, it's clear that, just as Dave stated, Vlad has gone soft. He's not the same guy that won all of those matches. Hell, he's hardly a shell of that!
As the King spins around to meet his opponent once more, he is met with another clap of Dave's palm across his face, stunning him for a second. Carter doesn't move in to take advantage of this, however, opting to stay in place, a cocky grin plastered on his features. Vlad straightens his skull, slowly staring back toward the Outcast, his gaze a silent warning of mortality. The offending hand is raised between them, fingers curling back in towards their owner, begging Strife to bring on his best.
Dave steps forward, placing his arms behind his back and presenting his face defenseless, giving the legendary Behemoth an invitation to it. The Czar of Scars obliges and yanks his arm back, hand opened wide and ready to give his opponent a taste of his own medicine. He swings for it, missing once more as the dastardly Carter ducks the blow swiftly before shooting forward with yet another of his own. It plants solidly, sending the King into a fit of rage. He pays the favor back with another strike, balling his fist as tightly as it will go before pumping his arm like a piston and letting fly with his signature 'Lights Out!'. While he sees the attack coming for him, the Outcast does not, however, dodge it. To the shock of the champion and those gathered in attendance, he steps into the punch. As he lands on his rear, his sight blurred and darkened, the challenger musters a meek smile as the bell rings out once more, his plan working.
The bell rings out once more, drawing the attention and vexation of the standing combatant.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Vladimir Strife has been disqualified for using a closed fist. Therefore, this contest's 7th fall goes to Dave 'The Lightning' Carter!"
Back to his feet with a little help from the ropes, Dave bursts into laughter, having found his way back under the skin of the champion. Strife makes a beeline for him once more, finding his midsection greeted by a sudden boot, doubling him over. Carter slips his fingers into the GodKing's hair, shaking his hand to mess it up in teasing fashion. Vlad lashes out at the mockery, a fist just passing the Outcast's nose as he steps back from it. Another snicker escapes him before he sees the 234 lbs frame barreling towards him. He drops down, slipping between the legs of Vlad unharmed and continuing the mind games. The King has sent himself into the corner and turns himself around now, an elbow rattling his teeth just afterward from the Party Riser.
Trix: And here's exactly why Dave doesn't have to respect Vlad - he's better! I mean, the King is a legend, but he's just a mindless brute at his core! He can't mentally compete with Dave and he may be stronger, but you can't hit what you can't catch. Sang: I'll give it to you that Dave is quicker, but he can't run forever, Trix. And ESPECIALLY from Vlad! I mean, really? This is his plan? He's going to try to annoy Vlad into losing? It's a cheap trick and on top of that, it's only going to make things worse for him when Vlad DOES get his hands on him, and trust me, he will!
Stepping back out of the corner, Dave takes hold of his opponent's wrist and lurches back, using his weight to yank Vlad forward. The King spins himself around though, holding tightly once more and reversing the whip's flow. Carter is once more ahead of him mentally though, having anticipated the reversal and himself changing up the game plan as he leaps high. He catches himself on the middle rope, pressing both feet down onto it and using their resistance to push back off as the Behemoth pursues him again. The Outcast twists himself around, passing over the incoming champion and grabbing onto him. He continues his momentum, using it to roll Strife backwards and into a ball, beginning yet another count as the referee drops into place.
"One! Two! Th-"
Vladimir powers out of the Sunset Flip, shoving his opponent away with a thrust of his mighty legs. The men clamor back to vertical stances, facing off once more with matching intensities in their eyes and only 5 feet between the two of them. They meet one another in the middle, arms raised high. Locking up, they entertain the classic contest of strength once more. Not waiting for the next dirty tactic, Strife instead lifts a sharp knee into the gut of his enemy, temporarily stunning him. He grabs hold of his arm before again flinging him with an Irish whip, this time directing him towards the ropes instead of repeating his mistake with the corner. With Dave on the return trip, Vlad hunkers down, lowering his center of gravity in anticipation. Not one to fall for the age old trap, the Lightning vaults himself over the waiting champion, slapping both hands down across his shoulders for leverage. He turns his head to see the Czar of Scars twist on his heels back toward him. Pressing off of the canvas once more, Carter spins himself about, flipping himself over and protruding a straight leg, the wing of his boot clipping the jaw of his Romanian rival.
Trix: BOOM! HEADSHOT! HAVE A NICE DAY!!! Sang: Fuck! Get up, Vlad! Get the hell up!
The Lightning dramatically throws himself across the strewn out King, drawing the referee's presence once more.
"One! Two! Three!"
The bell calls out in victory for the Outcast as the scoreboard rolls over to a 6-4 advantage in his favor.
"The eighth fall of this bout has been awarded to Dave Carter by means of Pinfall!"
Trix: Oh yeah! 6 t0 4 and Vlad's off in la-la land! I told you he was outmatched! Sang: Is that so? Because, if memory serves correctly, this match started with Dave up by 2 and Vlad still came back to even it up. Trix: Maybe so, but there's only one kind of Lightning that strikes twice and it's NOT in Vlad's favor.
As the boos in the arena grow to deafening levels, Carter sits up beside his victim, looking out to the displeased fans and tapping his pointer finger to his temple in a taunting reminder of his sharp intellect. The celebration is short lived, however, as the arm is taken away from him, pulled back in the grasp of the GodKing as his muscled thighs constrict around the other arm before rolling him backwards and shoving his shoulders to the mat.
"One! Two! Three!"
The piercing sound of hammer to steel follows again, this time to a chorus of applause as the Party Riser slips out of the ring and slaps the apron in frustration.
"The 9th fall of the match goes to Vladimir Strife via pinfall as well!"
Sang: And another for Vlad! Dave's not so smart NOW, is he? Trix: Well, he's still got the advantage! And that wasn't smarts on Vlad's part, it was simply luck!
The King enjoys a chuckle of his own now as he props himself against the ropes and prods his finger to the side of his skull a few times, teasing the Lightning. Dave begins to argue with the referee, claiming he won't get back into the ring and sending Strife into a second bout of laughter. The official pleads with the challenger to get back in and continue the match, but none of it seems to change his mind at the moment. Shaking his head slowly, Vlad takes his time getting back to his feet, feeling as though he's turned the tables and gotten to his foe's nerves now. His hesitation lures Carter into a rush though, the Outcast making his way onto the apron in a single bound, a testament to his years of practice and experience. With a second leap, he grabs onto the rope with both hands and sets his feet across it, timing it near perfect as the champion is standing up.
A sudden change in the chatter of the collective audience tips off Strife and he turns quickly towards the corner, throwing his shoulder forward and managing to catch the Lightning in the gut with it to both's surprise. He presses through, slamming Dave into the turnbuckle pads and drawing another positive response from the crowd. The King's spontaneous spurt of luck doesn't end there, however, with the Outcast slinking down into a seated position as he attempts to regain his bearings after the shocking tackle. The referee has to hurry out of the way to avoid being trampled by the Behemoth as he darts away from his opponent and makes his way into the opposing corner of the ring. Without wasting a second of time, Strife is headed back across the canvas, sprinting the distance before making a large step forward into the chest of the unfortunate Mr. Carter and using the foothold to push off while wrapping his fingers around the top rope. He straightens himself out in air, coming to a horizontal stance before he releases the hold, tucking in his knees as he does. 234 lbs of Romanian drop down from 5 feet above, the force focused behind his patellas as they plow into the pectoral muscles of the currently 7-6 odds on favorite.
Vlad rolls back away from the impact before rising back up to the sounds of his adoring fans. He leans down, grabbing Dave by the wrist before ripping him away from the corner and into the middle of the ring. He drops down, grabbing a leg and hiking it as he signals for the official to start his count.
Sang: HEART STARTER!!! WOOOOO-HOO! 7 to 7, here we come! Trix: Oh come on, I'm sure Dave can kick out of that! Come on, Dave!! You can do it!

OOC: You seem to have lost yourself in math there a bit Vlad The score is 5-4, not 7-6 The man in the zebra shirt once again in this match drops down to his knees beside the two men and goes on to do the job he is paid for. Without hesitation his hand rises up and falls down, slapping the mat for the first time. The process is then repeated and the crowd joins in on the count, as a loud "Two!" echos in the arena. The hand of the referee is risen once more, as the Hardcore King follows it closely, awaiting for the last slap of the mat to even the score. At this point, though, Carter has begun to recover, regaining the ability to breath freely, something that Vladimir took away from the Outcast after that rather brutal landing on Dave's chest. As air refills Party Riser's lungs and, thus, his erythrocytes with oxygen, Carter starts to regain strength and control of his muscles. Hearing the three-count being in the process, he immediately tries to prevent it, quickly twisting his body sideways in attempt to roll on his side. The goal of this action is to lift at least one of his shoulders of the ring canvas and eventually, roll Strife of himself. Alas, even though Dave is successful in doing this, he is a moment too late. The hand of the match official has already landed on the mat, cementing the three-count. The fans in attendance confirm this even further, screaming out "Three!" loudly, before breaking into massive cheer for their favorites success. In the meantime, Andrew Porter takes the mic again, making everything official.
~~Andrew Porter~~ The 10th fall fall of this contest has been awarded to Vladimir Strife as a result of a pinfall.
~~Sang~~ 5 to 5, it's even again! Well, at least for now, the score will soon grow on Vladimir's side.
~~Trix~~ That fall was BS. Dave kicked out, his shoulder was up from the canvas. Didn't referee see it.
~~Sang~~ Carter's shoulder was up, yet only after the count. It's funny, though, weren't you the one who said that referee is doing his job perfectly?
~~Trix~~ Well... yeah... I guess he is... though, that fall was questionable in my opinion.
After hearing Porter's words, Dave looks rather shocked, he was sure he managed to kick out in time. And yet as much as his disappointment and anger about the call is tempting him to confront the man in the zebra shirt, a clear mind speaks louder this time. Not wanting to repeat the mistakes made in the past, Carter opts to focus on the match rather than talks. Unfortunately for Dave, by the time he makes it back up to his feet, Vladimir is back in vertical stance for few seconds now. Furthermore, the GodKing is already ready to launch himself into offense, which he does once the Show Starter turns to face him. A quick right jab to the side of the face catches Carter by surprise, thus challenging him to hold his balance after the hit. The Romanian, however, does not wait to see if his opponent will manage to remain standing and swings his arm, this time the left one, at the Outcast again, catching him on the jaw and rattling his teeth. The impact knocks the Lightning backwards, only the ring ropes, to which he leans on, stopping his fall. Dave instantly tries to shake off the dizziness created by the two strong punches, while the Czar of Scars wastes no time to continue the attack. The 234 pound behemoth grabs the young Canadian by the wrist and pulls Dave towards himself, attempting to whip the cruiserweight into the ropes. Unexpectedly for Strife, Carter is fully aware of what's going on and actually manages to reverse the whip. Stopping dead on his track, the Party Riser spins on his heels and uses Hardcore King's own momentum to pull and send him into the ring ropes. Vladimir's body flies into the sisal ropes, stretching them out till enough force is gathered to slingshot the EVPW legend back towards Dave. The Show Starter smirks for a mere moment before making the next step. The former SJN hero proves that he learned a thing or two from the history that went down in this ring tonight. Instead of trying to clothesline or boot his Romanian opponent, Dave charges head on the very moment Strife rebounds of the ring ropes. As the two men approach the mid-way of the initial distance between them, the Lighting leans slightly forward, lowering his head to the level of GodKing's belly. A second later, Carter runs shoulder first right into Vladimir's guts and ribs, to which the Hardcore King respond with rather loud scream of pain. The impact also brings the behemoth down crashing into the canvas.
~~Trix~~ What a spear! You dear brother definitely didn't see that one coming, did he now?
~~Sang~~ That's just a minor setback at best to the inevitable Vladimir's victory.
Right after the collision with Strife, Dave flips forward. Thus when the Romanian hits the mat, Carter ends up facing away and on top of the Imperial Champion, bridging backwards in attempt to pin Vladimir and score another fall. However, the exhaustion from the match makes it harder to balance the body. So before the referee could even start the three-count, one of Lighting's foot slips away from the canvas and the Outcast's lower body drops to the mat. With no more leverage to keep Czar's shoulder blades firmly pressed down, the Party Riser tries to roll of his opponent and continue from there. Yet, even though Dave's body does roll, it's not the way he was expecting. Showing some great innovation and stamina, Strife manages hook both arms of his challenger before he slips away. The two men then instantly roll over, facing the ring canvas now. Yet it's the Romanian who is on top this time. Canadian, feeling that his arms are trapped, begins to freak out, feeling that this isn't going to end well if he doesn't escape. The Titan, however, has no intentions to let go. The strength factor plays a huge role in this mini-battle and the 234 pound behemoth has an obvious advantage when it comes to raw power. While his ribs might still be sore after that spear from Carter, that doesn't bother the GodKing too much - after all he is known for his amazing endurance and tolerance to pain. Slowly but steadily, the SCW original begins to make his way to vertical position. As Dave's hands are still hooked behind his back, the Outcast is also forced to get back up to his feet. Anticipating just what exactly the King is planning, Carter would rather stay down, but the uncomfortable position prevents him from actually doing something about it. When both men finally are standing on their own feet, a huge grin crosses Vladimir's face. The fans in attendance stand up from their seats and look to the ring anxiously. Everybody can feel it - it's coming. One of the deadliest moves in the industry, a move that has put so many men to sleep. The famous signature move of the Hardcore King, Skesis Driver, is about to be executed on the arrogant Show Starter. Carter continues to freak out, struggling for his life to avoid this and the Czar comes to realization that he can't keep teasing the crowd any longer, otherwise this might backfire. The Romanian wastes no more time and lifts the challenger for his title up from the canvas. Strife then positions Carter belly-to-back, yet upside-down. The Party Riser continues to struggle, but at this point there is nothing he can do anymore. A second passes and Vladimir falls backwards onto his rear, sitting down. At the same time he drives the Lighting into the canvas neck and shoulders first, executing his finisher to the perfection.
~~Sang~~ Skesis Driver! Vladimir hit it! He hit the Skesis Driver! There is no way Carter is kicking out of this one, the score will become 6-5 in favor of the Imperial Champion.
~~Trix~~ Well, can't argue about this, it's very doubtful Dave is getting out of this one, much less after wrestling for 45 or so minutes.
Right after nailing the move, the Romanian Scourge grabs the Lightning's legs. With the Show Starter's shoulders firmly pressed against the mat and him seemingly being out, it's a perfect opportunity for the GodKing to score another fall. An opportunity he doesn't wastes. The man in the black and white stripped shirt is right there beside the two competitors withing seconds and he immediately makes the count.
Referee: 1...... 2......3!
Andrew Porter doesn't hesitate and continues to do his job, that is making an official announcement.
~~Andrew Porter~~ Ladies and gentlemen, the 11th fall fall of this contest has been awarded to Vladimir Strife as a result of another pinfall.
For the first time in this hellacious Iron Man match, that scales have tipped to the favor the Imperial Champion. A little sigh of relief comes from Mr.Strife. Finally he isn't the one who has to close the gap. Furthermore, after the Skesis Driver, Carter will have a hard time recovering and with only about 15 minutes left in the match, things seem to be going well for the Hardcore King. Yet, he is smart enough to know, that this does not guarantee victory. His opponent had even a bigger lead, yet wasn't able to capitalize it. So if Vladimir wasn't to retain his lead, he needs to prepare for the hardest 15 minutes in this match yet. OOC: Well I think me and Vlad agreed that this is where it ends and the match in now up for judgment. Vlad, got to say that I enjoyed this match very much, the best match I had in a while. And I think you really brought the best out of me RP wise
