It's one of those rules that everyone forgets but kinda assumes that everyone else knows. Like a speed limit, for example.

WAIT!!!!! I went back and looked over the rule! Even though it DOES say that the title is on the line whenever the champion is in a match, I had only specified that you win it in a non-title match if you pin or submit the opponent! Therefore, being the match was not listed as being for the TV title and it was a ladder match, which can't be won by pin or submission, I am NOT the EVPW Television Champion!

^Sorry, found a flaw with that logic Vladdy Who remembers End Of Innocence? I bet almost everyone does, especially Metal Dragon, as he became a double champion at that event. HOWEVER, in the match he became dual champion in, it was only listed that the SNK Dragon's Rage Title was on the line, and furthermore, the match they competed in was a Dragon's Dungeon match, which can only be won by KNOCKOUT. MD won and became a dual champion etc etc etc. So either accept the fact you're dual champion, or rewrite history and make Crazy Boy the TV Champ

Or you can do what MD did and hand it on to some one, ... ... Or even better hold a sick and twisted tournament to crown the new champ.

Or you could burn it, then hold some kind of sick satanic (or Vladanic) ritual around its smouldering remains... Just a suggestion
