Ok, I had no where else to put this, but while talking to a few members of EVPw here this morning, I thought... Hey, why not put up a place to talk about feuds you've seen or been a part of that are memorable.
We rattled off one hell of a list, so I am only going to do one to start.
-Alex Stall and Hawkeye-
This feud was no less than epic as some here will know. Starting back in December of 2006 in a little know federeation called Solid Core Wrestling, this feud debuted Alex to the Efedding world.
Four out of Five of my matches in SCW were against Hawkeye, 3 of which I lost pretty harshly. The final match at the Pay-Per-View From The Ashes, the final match card of the Federation, Alex and Hawkeye starred in the first ever Elevated Hardcore Match which resulted in a tie.
This feud couldn't be killed though, as SCW merged with GHW and gave us a bigger audience and more to work with. A truce was called between the two as they entered the stale, The Coven, though still showed the sparks of the feud.
In his debut, Alex defeated two men for the GHW Cruiserweight Title, a soon to be explosive part of the evergoing feud between the two cruiserweights. After six months of dodging the bullet, Alex and Hawkeye were finally reunited in the ring as opponents. Alex once again failing to live up to his rival and losing the title he'd tried so hard to keep.
It took three whole month, three Pay-Per-Views to once again pit the two rivals yet again. The match didn't pull the main event slot but eventually proved to be far beyond main event status to the two men as they pulled all the stops and gave it everything they could. The end of the match decided three things for the two men.... Alex's long sought victory over Hawkeye, the first 2 time GHW Cruiserweight Champion and the end of a feud that started one of the strongest stables in GHW History as well as one of the most explosive tag teams in the business as the two finally set aside their differences and fought for the greater good.
Feud Length: 10 and a half Months: Still showing small signs of life after 2 years.
Matches Fought: 6
That's the most memorable for me, being it was the highlight of my career. Hope to hear a run-down of any other epic feuds you all know or have done.
