'Enough is Enough and it's time for a change' Desperado's voice echoes through-out the WNG arena as the lights go dim.
You ready?
…
Lets go!
‘Remember the Name' by Fort Minor plays.
::[Lizzie Morna]:: "This match is for one fall with the stipulation that your opponent must bleed before he is pinned, … making his way to the ring, ... hailing from Brooklyn, New york, ...standing 6'2", ... Weighing in at 212lbs, ... He’s the Technical Toxic, … The High-Flying Hunk, …The Deadly and Dangerous, … Desperado."
He doesn't need his name up in lights He just wants to be win whether it's a match or a fight He feels so unlike everybody else, alone In spite of the fact that some people still think that they know him But fuck em' He knows the code It's not about the salary It's about reality and makin' some noise Makin' the story Makin' sure his game stays up Try to put him down and he’ll make you fuck up
::[~~Jimmy Pate~~]:: "This is going to one hell of a match. Not only do they have to pin each other but they must make their opponent bleed before either can perform a pinfall." ::[~~Ray White~~]::"They're both so cute, why do they have to ruin their faces. I say we hold a strike against. This is a violation to good looks. Just because Devin doesn't share the same good looks as these two. This is plain jealousy to me. What do you think JP." ::[~~Jimmy Pate~~]::"I don't give a Fu... I don't care." Desperado breaks through the entrance curtain, his long black gown draping the floor, the golden lining shining under the flashing lights of the camera's. He moves through the sides of the screaming fan as he advances to the ring making boxing actions as if warming himself up for the match. Who the hell is he anyway? He never really talks much Never concerned with status but still leavin' them star struck Humbled through opportunities given to him despite the fact That many misjudge him because he made his way up from scratch Put it together himself, now the picture connects Never askin for someone's help, to get some respect He's only focused on who he’s fightin‘, his will is beyond reach And now when it all unfolds, the skill of an artisteHe reaches the steel steps and climbs them one by one in rythmitic steps. He stops at the top. Desperado then tilts his head back, removing the hood to reveal his psychotic smile and lifts his arms to his sides. The lights suddenly go back to full strength. Desperado removes his gown and lets it drop to his feet before entering the ring in his black trunks with silky golden stripes along with his matching black and gold boots. His hands are strapped with white tape whilst tribal tattoo's cover most of his upper arms and spreading across his shoulders to his back. A lot of cuts and bruises are present on his body from the numerous amounts of extreme matches. It's just ten percent luck Twenty percent skill Fifteen percent concentrated power of will Five percent pleasure Fifty percent pain And a hundred percent reason to remember the nameDesperado stands in the center of the ring waiting for his opponent. Jake’s Contract: evpw.proboards91.com/index.cgi?board=cntracts&action=display&thread=269
“THE FUTURE… HAS… ARRVED!” An intense amount of cheers from the audience is heard instantly as “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour begins to blare throughout the arena. The lights begin to flash randomly and rapidly in unison with the guitar riff as the entrance tunnel is filled with sparks and the silhouette of the proclaimed “Future” is shown in the tunnel. “Look in my eyes, what do you see? The Cult of Personality…” Jake Diamond energetically bursts out of the tunnel to an overwhelming ovation. Wearing long black wrestling pants with numerous designs all over them and a vest covered in signature insignias, Jake brushes back his long, shaggy brown hair with his hand and slyly smirks proudly into the audience with his emerald green eyes. With the chants of his name heard from the audience Jake, as typically as ever, runs from side to side of the brief entrance stage playfully taunting the fans as he goes. Jimmy Pate: "I have to ask Ray, do you see Jake having a slight advantage in this match since his own creation, the Midnight Massacre Match, is merely a slight variation of this?" Ray White: "I don't know, I just don't like seeing Jake in these types, he usually always does something stupid that hurts his sexy little frame..." JP: "... Right. Well for those who don't know, Jake's match is different only in the aspect that the falls count anywhere and it's under death match rules... Not to mention the fact that there are more than one referee at the ringside in that match!" Meanwhile, Jake begins to walk down the entrance ramp in his signature cocky strut, pointing finger gun gestures playfully at the audience and randomly yelling confident but just as hilarious comments. He stops at the center of the entrance ramp and spreads his legs slightly apart before lowering his head. He slowly raises both his hands high up into the air, forming the shape of a diamond in the middle of them, before swiftly and sharply bringing it down. Despite his lack of pyros, the fans continue to cheer in approval at the no-nonsense competitor, only to further expand the grin which is spread halfway across Jake’s face. LM: “Introducing his opponent; he hails from the ‘Second City,’ Chicago, Illinois and weighs in tonight at two hundred and twenty-two pounds! He is the Savior of EVPW! Ladies and gentlemen, he is 'The Future' JAKE DIAMOND!" RW: "I'm kinda worried Jimmy, I mean what if Desperado and Jake Diamond absolutely mutilate each other. Who will I stalk then?" "Not only is that incredibly creepy but against the law. I'd keep that to yourself..." "I sure hope you don't hold it against me... Unless of course you were Desperado and by 'it' I meant -" "EASY! Mr. Banks wouldn't like it very much if we got a lawsuit from your comments now would he? Anyway everyone, the last time we saw these two fight it was actually in a TLC triple threat match that included Bret Baxton which Jake came out on top in. Will we see a similar result or a totally different result? Let's find out!"Jake continues to make his way down the entrance ramp, slapping the hands of nearby fans on the way, Jake reaches the steel steps to the ring and energetically rushes up them and hops over the ring ropes with ease. Similar to that of Shawn Michaels, Jake does a quick spin to reach the middle of the ring before immediately shooting his arms out to his sides in his signature crucifix pose. If that wasn’t enough, a single simultaneous burst from the turnbuckles explodes, forcing Jake to laugh lightly to himself that he bought those pyros from a nearby firework shop for the low-low price of forty dollars. Jake removes his vest and hands it off to the official in the ring, still not keeping his eyes off of the always dangerous Desperado. Jake wanders over to his corner and leans against the turnbuckle as the referee checks him for any weapons that he may possess. Surprisingly, Jake proves to be clean and the referee backs away quickly, calling for the bell to begin the match. Even before he and Desperado tie-up traditionally in the middle of the ring, Jake Diamond already has his gameplan developed and begins to play it out in his mind like a movie reel as the match goes underway. The two tug and push at one another, trying to pick up the advantage in the lock-up. Being of similar height and build, it seemed like it would end a stalemate until Desperado locks into his strength and pushes him towards the turnbuckle. The momentum swings in Jake's favour as he uses his skillfulness and carries Desperado into the turnbuckle, using his own strength and against. With Jake slipping away beneath him, Desperado puts his hands in front of his face to make sure nothing is cut, as he falls onto the turnbuckle. Jake runs against him in a jiffy. Using his knee to strike Desperado in his back before pulling him back into the same knee as he places it on the ground in the perfect position for a back breaker.
Jake mounts the tunrbuckle nearest to him which happened to be the one Desperado was previoulsy placed on. He uses the opportunity to pose in front of the cheering fans with a cocky grin as Desperado is seen, still to be recovering. Looking down at Desperado, he smiles to himself before pointing to his elbow and then to the crowd as if dedicating the move to them. He falls backwards towards Desperado, his elbow destined for his opponent's face, his body weight above it. A connection would have surely bust Desperado wide open but with luck snapping in between the two, gives Desperado just the edge to move out of the way and watch Jake's Elbow strike the empty mat as his body follows on top of it a millisecond later.
Desperado aware of the opportunity at hand, immediately lifts himself off the ground and pounces onto Jake like a ravaging animal. Without a second thought, Desperado knuckles begin to dig away at Jake Diamond's head, scavenging deep in an attempt to find the burried treasure in the form of blood. He fist moves in a rythmatic mvement, not speeding up, nor slowing down but at a fixed, constant rate. With Jake's skull giving way, he found his only choice to be a driven punch to Desperado's jaw as he manages to punch Desperado off of himself.
::{~~Ray White~~}:: "Desperado doesn't mess about when it comes to matches like these. It was as if he was possesed in busting poor Jake's head open."
::{~~Jimmy Pate~~}:: "Well that is the whole point of this match. Bust your opponent open before you can pin him for victory."
::{~~Ray White~~}:: "Does that justify Desperado to ruin Jake's beautiful face?"
::{~~Jimmy Pate~~}:: "I think it does Ray, I think it does. In these circumstances, It means everything to do what you have to do, to defeat your opponent as long as you stay within the rules and so far they both seem to be sticking by them which is a strange sight to see with their reputations." Desperado rushes back to his feet in time to catch Jake with a waist-lock. He heaves Jake off the ground in a german suplex, landing close by onto the mat. With his arms stil locked firmly around Jake's waist, Desperado goes for another one. This time it isn't as quick as the other one, the first having taken a lot of energy out of him. They both crash to the ground once again. Desperado however seems to be determined to continue the rolling german sequence as he lifts Jake once again. This time, however, Jake manages to slip around Desperado's grip as it began to loosen. He reverses the movement with his own arms now locked around Desperado's waist as he lofts Desperado into the air with a german suplex. He repeats the sequence for the second time earning a similar result as the previous one. Jake also manages to keep his arms locked around Desperado's waist. They both get to their feet. Jake still at an advantage with his arms locked around Desperado. Determined to go one step further than Desperado, Jake attempts a third german suplex in a row. It proves too much as he looses strength at the last moment and Desperado comes crashing down upon him. Both men lay in a heap in the centre of the ring as the crowd begin to chant their names. Recovering rather quickly, both men get up to their feet speedily but it’s Jake who grabs the momentum by easily jumping up and wrapping his legs around Desperado’s head before leaning back and tossing Desperado with a hurricanrana. Desperado uses the flow of inertia to roll forward and stop the impending onslaught of Jake by catching him directly in the jaw with an effective right hook. Stumbling backwards like a drunk on New Years, Jake manages to block another punch from Desperado and respond with a clean chop to his chest. Now feeling the adrenaline rise Jake unleashes a fury of chops and quick punches to Desperado before following the series with an equally as deadly spinning backfist that drops Desperado down to one knee. Not finished yet, Jake leaps up and torques his body as the top of his right foot connects perfectly with the back of Desperado’s head dropping him with the enzuigiri. Hopping up to his feet like a sugar rushed four year old Jake yells loudly and triumphantly before going off the adjacent set of ropes as Desperado groggily gets up to his feet. Leaping up with nearly six feet between them Jake stretches out his left leg while cocking his right leg in and leaves the knee exposed before crashing it hard into the side of Desperado’s face with the Busaiku Knee Kick, completing his signature Diamond Rush.
“Jakey Pooh has Desperado finished! Nobody ever kicks out of that combination, nobody!”
“Which is a shame because Desperado isn’t bleeding yet, Jake is just wasting his time, and he better conserve it if he wants to prevail!”
“No this can’t be! Jake’s been screwed, and not by me like I might’ve hoped! He bleeds more than Jimmy when he’s having his period...”
Clearly inappropriate, Jimmy Pate smacks Ray White across the back of head. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Jake begins to scrape the forehead of Desperado with the heel of his boot obviously anxious to cause some blood spill. Unfortunately, following the five count of the referee, Jake is shoved off of Desperado and threatened with a near disqualification from the official. Allowing Desperado to recuperate, Jake shoves the referee and gets right in his face telling him why he’s better than him. Desperado, now on all fours behind Jake, sees his opening and charges forward tackling Jake through the ropes but taking the referee with them. Colliding with the referees head as he lands on the outside, Jake grabs his throbbing skull while the official lays almost lifelessly beside him and Desperado lays sprawled beside the security barrier.
Shaking his head to dismiss the dusty cobwebs in his head, Desperado, after a quick breather, gets up to his feet not feeling obligated to use the barrier for help and notices his opponent weakened on the floor and the knocked out referee. Thinking irrationally and ruthlessly Desperado moves to the ring apron and reaches under it and immiediatley finds what he’s looking for; a simple steel chair. Desperado grabs the cold and heartless steel in both hands and roars at Jake Diamond to get up who, subconsciously, obliges rather slowly. With his back initially turned to his opponent, Jake stumbles a few steps back before turning around straight into a brutal exposed chair shot to his head. Not even willing to try and fight the pain, Jake flops limply on his face on the outside ring mat while Desperado, happy with his kill, shoves the dented steel chair back under the ring apron. Desperado quickly grabs Jake by the waist and dead lifts him off the mat with all his strength only to barely place Jake onto the ring apron. With a small pool of blood formed where Jake’s face was, Desperado looks back into the face of The Future and grins broadly at the sight of a fairly decent sized cut that has opened across his forehead.
“Desperado has done the first step, Jake is bleeding and now it’ll only be a matter of time before The Future will have lost too much blood to continue!”
“But my little outlaw Desperado had to do it in the worst way ever, by cheating! Sure, I don’t mind a bad boy but when he’s doing it to an even bigger bad boy with some sleek and sexy steel... Never mind, I take it back...”
“I don’t know what your talking about, nor do I want to. Desperado has dragged him to the middle of the ring and Jake still looks like a fainting goat, I think he might actually steal the win here!”
With Jake’s leg hooked tightly in the middle of the ring Desperado begins to make the three count to himself in his head but when he reaches six he grows curiously furious. Desperado jumps up to his feet and looks desperately around the ring before realizing that the referee is still on the outside. Seeing that the official is slowly getting up to his feet, Desperado goes to the ropes and yells some “encouragement” at the man who should’ve counted his victory already. Regrettably, the yells from Desperado seem to bring back Jake Diamond who, now rather angry that he bled first, stubbornly tries to get up to his feet. After stumbling after the first step, Jake doesn’t waste him time with walking and throws himself forward with a lariat and connects with the back of Desperado’s head that sends him back out of the ring and over the top rope. Not willing to wait for the referee to crawl back into the ring, Jake charges off of the parallel set of ropes and slingshots himself over the top rope before crashing onto Desperado with a front flip plancha on the outside of the ring. Now feeling the blatant effects of the blood loss, Jake tries to stand up but falls back down and grabs his head with the sensation of dizziness and vertigo overwhelming all of his other senses. On the other side of the coin, Desperado lays flat on his back with his eyes tightly closed. Surprisingly, the referee has managed to make it back into the ring and begin to count out a sprawled Desperado and a bloodied Jake Diamond.
“Talk about a peculiar series of events, I mean this has been nothing but a back and forth battle and we’re only ten or so minutes in! I guess the only clear cut leader would have to be Desperado since he’s the only one with the ability to try for a pinfall or submission!”
“It won’t matter Jimmy, they’re gonig to get counted out anyway! There’s no way Desperado will get up from all of that sexiness falling on him and I think Jake hit his head when he landed!”
“Maybe it’ll knock some sense into him, I mean he was just busted open why would he try a plancha? Oh well, let’s see if this continuous brawling style of both men will continue even with an obvious tiredness showing in both!”
