The show opens with an explosion of fireworks at the top of the entrance ramp and the booming pop of EVPW fans screaming their lungs out. The Butchertron shows a flyover of the eager crowd piled into the Solid Core Gymnasium, while a loud chant of "EEEEE VEEE PEEE, Dub-ya" makes its way around the arena building strength with every second.
The ring is kitted out for the first match, with a flag waving proudly from a flagpole hanging from each corner. The Butchertron shows a split of both corners, as both the flags of the United States of America and Wales seem to face off against each other, blowing almost poetically in the slight breeze that whispers around the arena. The noise is deafening, and one can barely hear themselves think above it. Jimmy Pate's voice cracks as he yells above the racket.
Indeed, morse code is bleeping out of the PA system, as the lights seem to flutter about aimlessly. A lightly distorted guitar strums openly as Thrice's Image of the Invisible begins to play. Knowing that the music signifies the entry of the Welshman, the crowd begin to boo loudly and the chanting subsides to accommodate it. The verse plays through, with the lights flashing rapidly, in a strobe-like fashion between red, green and a white light in the colours of the Welsh flag. Eager to see what shape Cathy is in after the Barbed Wire Cage match at Killing Grounds, the crowd await the Welsh hopes to show his face in the arena.
Just moments before the verse hits, the song dies down. The lights black out to follow the song, the cut lasting only a split second. As the chorus hits, the entire arena is flooded with a blinding white light, illuminating everything around in its glow. Standing staunchly tall in the entranceway to the arena is Thomas Cathy. As usual, he does not give anything away emotionly, remaining his stony cold looks as he trudges down to the ring. He does not acknowledge the crowd, or the "USA...USA" chants that now erupt around the Solid Core Gymnasium. His eyes remain trained on one object, and one object alone, the Welsh flag hanging in the corner.
The Tom-Cat is wearing short black wrestling tights, with a large Red Dragon, the symbol taken from the Welsh flag itself wrapping around the rear and left leg of the tights. On the right leg, an intricate design weaves the letters 'TC' in white lettering around what appear to be green vines that wrap around the leg of the tights. He is wearing black boots with dark green laces and matching dark green stitching, and kneepads to match. Slowly, but surely, he closes in on the ring.
Upon hearing his name, Cathy raises one arm, a fist in the air to the loud boos that he is recieving tonight. He seems to remain focussed, despite the swirling controversy and dissapointment of his performances of late. He looks determined, Four losses in a row... It does not seem to be a thought that crosses the Tom-Cat's mind.
Cathy enters the ring, slipping under the top rope seemlessly. He walks over to his corner, looking up at the Welsh flag hanging in the corner. Without even a smile, he raises his right hand and salutes the flag in a very military fashion. Fighting for the pride of his country, Cathy is alone. He is in his realm, and he is ready. Silently and patiently he waits...

Jimmy Pate:
Hello and welcome to yet another Wednesday Night Genesis, brought to you from the Solid Core Gymnasium. I am Jimmy Pate, and with me here at ringside is my broadcast partner, but in no other means my partner in any way... Ray White.
Ray White:
Ok, JP I get it, you're not gay... I'll stop asking. I'm going to let that cheap shot slide seeing as it is the beginnig of the night. There is a long, long way to go.
Jimmy Pate:
And what a night we have planned indeed. A hug Triple Threat tag-team ladder match, with a mystery prize for the winners is our main event. But right here and now, what a match to kick the night off!
Ray White:
What a match is right JP. The former Imperial Champion, Thomas Cathy has been on a slippery slope as of late, and it cost him his championship at Killing Grounds in a brutal match against Demon. But tonight, it is country pride on the line...
Jimmy Pate:
And as a true American, I think I speak for all of us when I say... USA, USA. The Tom-Cat sure isn't going to have the home-field advantage tonight, and thats for sure.
The lights are bright, the stage is set, and is that morse code I hear? Lets get this party started.

Jimmy Pate:
Well, Cathy looks like the business... BUt the question I have, and I'm sure its the question everybody is asking about him at the moment has nothing to do with his recent downhill slope. It has nothing to do with him loosingthe title. The question coming out of Killing Grounds that surrounds the Welshman is this... Whats up with him and Amanda?
Ray White:
Well, its clear that the Tom-Cat cost her the Dragon's Rage title. She had Metal Dragon right where she needed him, and Cathy spoiled it. It doesn't take a scientist to figure out that there is bad feelings there between them.
Jimmy Pate:
Yeah, but Cathy came out with purpose. He said there was "unfinished business" between the two. He went so far as to make it personal for Amanda, bringing up the touchy subject of her deranged former fiance, Hayden HardKore. Cathy said that she had a habit of running from her problems, rather than facing them.
Ray White:
Andthe strangest theng JP. Amanda is not even on WNG. He has a whole roster to pick a fight with, and he chooses somebody that isn't even on his show. The Tom-Cat is unpredictable at the best of times, but I have no idea whats happening with this one!
