The Cow Palace crowd is heaving some breath of excitement as the show has progressed to its later half. All the matches have been successful to keep the audience glued to their seats, both in the arena as well as anyone watching it live on PPV. As of this moment the crowd is overwhelmed with the promise of another action packed, hellacious, breath-taking part of the show. The next match is surprisingly a Midnight Massacre match with Victor Steel pitted against a mystery opponent, obviously the details are yet unknown. This match which is being called supposedly the "last match" of Victor Steel in EVPW for unknown causes has already built the hype. But adding fuel to the fire is the announcement of the above mentioned MYSTERY OPPONENT for the match which is giving goosebumps to the crowd as well as announcers alike. Jimmy Pate and Ray White are taking turns guessing the possibility as to who could be the mysterious competitor to Victor's challenge.
Ray White : This is certainly surprising me, as to what was the need of such a match. The audience isn't well aquainted to it. Victor Steel, being a coward, missed most of the shows preceding Killing Grounds and suddenly out of nowhere deals a challenge.
Jimmy Pate : Well rumours are that this is supposed to be his lat match. But rumours aren't meant to be believed everytime. This is surely an element of surprise and the response received is well worth it. Just look at that crowd.
Ray White : Huh! Well better be it. I would be more than happy. But the thing that is killing me is that...WHO...is the mystery opponent in the match. The word mystery is making this thing altogether more...MYSTERIOUS? I am confused!
Jimmy Pate : Well even I don't have any idea as to who will be facing Victor Steel tonight. Trust me on this part...I think most of the people are as curious, as you and me are right now.
Ray White : I can only hope that HE will be a strong, muscular, charismatic badd...badd man, who can beat the hell out of this painted clown.
Jimmy Pate : I suppose you don't possess the balls to say that on his face...do you?
Suddenly the arena is drowned in semi darkness at the sound of the gong, illuminated only by a dark blue smoky ambience. Few bright flashes and strobe lights keep flickering at the interval of microseconds. The crowd is pumped up as Gears of War by MEgadeth hits the arena and echoes throughout each and every corner of the historical stadium. The titantron starts flashing random, weird imageries resembling a graveyard and some abandoned shack. This is in contrast to the previous entrances of the Dark Warrior which weren't as ghastly as the present one. The screen continues to display hardcore and grungy scenes, a man trapped in barbed wires writhing in cruciating amount of pain, blood dripping from his body. The spotlight higlights the entrance stage where Victor Steel is standing with a gruesome expression on face. He lifts his head higher revealing a scarred look on his face. The corpse paint is scrapped off from places exposing the minor wounds. He raises his right arm high in the air and shows the black baseball bat which is wrapped in barbed wire from the apex throughout its upper half. He proceeds to raise his left arm which triggers a motion of fireworks towards the ceiling. Few rockets rise up in unison leaving behind a trail of blue smoke in the form of a V. As the fireworks cease, Victor slowly makes his move towards the ring.
Lizzie Morna : Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is scheduled for one fall and is a Midnight Massacre Match. Introducing first, from Miami...Victorrrr Steeeel!
Ray White : You surely understand what kind of a match is this gonna be...huh?
Jimmy Pate : Obviously I do...This is going to be one hell of a bloody, hardcore, no rules match...with the compulsion being that you have to make your opponent bleed. So we definitely are going to witness a bloodbath in this ring...a few moments from now.
While walking the whole length of the ramp, to the shock of some fans at the front row, Victor pisses off one of the teens by swinging his baseball bat in his direction. After scaring the fan, he proceeds towards the ring apron and hastily hops inside the ring. Without caring to remove his trenchcoat, he stands right in the middle of the ring waiting for his opponent with a look of despise on his face. He surely does not seem happy at the surprise but decides to stay calm and patient. The lights return to their normal self once again illuminating the place.

evpw.proboards91.com/index.cgi?board=cntracts&action=display&thread=269 Lizzie Morna: “And now, introducing his opponent…” The lights in the Cow Palace black out entirely with the exception of dull yellow lights shining from the Butcher-Tron. The audience anxiously and curiously peers from their seats, trying to catch any glimpse they can of this ‘mystery opponent.’ In hindsight, the opponent who would oppose Victor Steel should’ve been obvious but the rationality of it seemed too blatant. Suddenly, the signature intro lyrics blare throughout the arena and the audience quickly becomes fully aware on who the mystery man is. ”If you’re having girl problems I feel bad for you son, I’ve got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one! Hit me!” [/center][/I] A single yellow spotlight fixates itself on the entrance tunnel just as the Tron comes to life and ”99 Problems” by Jay-Z blares loudly from the PA system. Half of the arena lights come back on while the yellow lights on the Butcher-Tron begin to flash randomly and rapidly in accordance to the beat. Rather surprisingly, “Save us, Jake!” begins to be heard from the predominantly male audience while the still evident “Screw you, Jake!” is faintly heard from the minority child and female audience. It can’t be seen but Jake stands grinning in the entrance tunnel while listening to the chants, he never knew why but the audience arguing amongst itself always seemed to amuse him. As soon as Jake’s silhouette becomes seen in the entrance tunnel, Lizzie Morna continues. LM: “He is the innovator and creator of the Midnight Massacre Match; weighing in tonight at two hundred and twenty-eight pounds. He hails from the ‘Second City,’ Chicago, Illinois and is the self proclaimed ‘Savior of EVPW.’ Ladies and gentlemen… Jake! DIAMOND!” On cue Jake Diamond bursts out of the entrance tunnel energetically, proving that he’s always been a showman. Almost too conveniently, ”Back in Black” by AC/DC replaces the already playing theme song as Jake holds his pose on the entrance stage. Wearing a pair of long black wrestling tights and a simple black vest, both with numerous insignias and designs sewn over them, Jake stares out at the emphatic and excited audience through a pair of dark Oakley shades. Brushing back his black hair, a different color and even longer since we’ve last seen him, Jake Diamond can’t help but grin like a hyena before running up and down the entrance stage, playfully mocking the audience and fans. Jimmy Pate: “I’m still in shock, like what in God’s name is Jake Diamond still doing here? He should still be recovering from his injury, not returning to the ring! This is crazy…” Ray White: “I don’t think so Jimmy, I mean he always was freakishly good at recovering from head injuries, I wonder why that is? Oh well I’m just glad that my little Jakey Pooh is back!” JP: “I’m not; he’s a snake and nothing more than a filthy cheater. He’s going to have his hands full with Victor Steel tonight though since he is lacking in not only the height department but also from a weight and strength aspect.” RW: “You’re right but remember Jake is definitely superior in the aerial and pure solid striking game. One kick to the face from Jake and that might be lights out for Victor. I’m a little scared though, I think this is the first time anyone’s ever managed to match Jake’s technical and mat wrestling ability along with his stamina. This might be one of his most difficult opponents to date!” Clearly not thinking about his opponent right now, Jake continues to taunt his fans before turning his attentions back to the ring and starts to make his way down the entrance ramp. Walking rather methodically, Jake doesn’t stop for an instant or directs his mind anywhere else until he reaches the absolute middle of the entrance ramp. Spreading his legs and lowering his head, Jake tucks his arms across his chest in the same motion before shooting his head back and shooting his arms quickly out to his sides. To add to the element of surprise, a single cloudy pyro shoots up from either side of Jake on the entrance ramp in unison. Probably more amused by the reaction he got from the expensive pyros than anything, Jake’s grin broadens almost unnaturally before he continues on his way toward the ring. “Those must’ve cost Jake quite a bit; hopefully he’ll bring a better bang to the show than those pyros. Remember, he’s been gone for about three months now with a fractured skull so I would expect him having at least some form of ring rust. I do really doubt Jake’s chances against an opponent such as Victor Steel, in his possible last match here no doubt!” “Don’t count him out just yet Jimmy, I mean sure he’s lacking the height, strength, and weight advantages but he’s smarter. Jake knows how to use absolutely everything to his advantage and I’m sure he will. He’s also got a pair of balls like nobody else…” “Of all the people, it doesn’t surprise me that you know that fact. Anyway, I guess I could also give Jake the experience advantage since he has been doing this for six years but I really think that Jake Diamond may finally be beaten in his match of choice.” “Please, Jake losing in a match where the most sadistic and wily win? That’s almost blasphemous to say! No, you can go ahead and put your money on the fan favorite, Victor Steel, but I’m going to put my money on the tall, dark, and handsome horse!”Jake comes up to the ring steps to the rings and stops just before going up them. He motions to the referee to direct Victor Steel and Lizzie Morna out of the ring, both who oblige rather kindly. Now having the ring cleared, Jake quickly runs up the ring steps before hopping up and over the top rope with relative ease. Continuing with his momentum from the jump, Jake spins to the middle of the ring before stopping in his typical place right in front of the camera. Rather swiftly, The Savior raises his hands up to the sky in the shape of a diamond before bringing it down just as quickly. This time there isn’t any pyros from after the taunt but Jake is entirely out of the mood to be amused. Almost refusing to waste anymore time, Jake removes his shades and his vest and hands them off to the referee just as Victor Steel climbs into the ring with his bat. The referee hands Jake’s entrance gear out to Lizzie Morna while both men almost curiously eye each other down. The official comes to the middle of the ring and directs both men off to their respective corners, Jake to a corner closest to the entrance ramp and Victor to the farthest corner across from him. Deeming that it was only fair, Victor leaves his bat lying by his corner before turning his attention back to the equally unarmed Jake Diamond. The referee quickly calls for the bell to begin the match. TBC: Victor

Edit OOC : Everything's fixed...Jake make your post fast! ;D
The match has commenced and the crowd responds with a wild upsurge of excitement spread across the arena like a wave while both the competitors in the ring are still engaged in a staredown. Jake starts mocking Victor by swinging his arms in the air, volleying some fake haymakers in the direction of the Dark Warrior. Steel takes less notice of such actions as his eyes are transfixed at Jake's smirky expressions. With a sudden jerk, he takes off his trenchcoat in an act of intimidation and throws it over his baseball bat under the turnbuckle. Flexing his arms...he assumes a defensive stance with both his fists guarding his face from any sort of offense. Jake gives out a laugh loud and starts imitating Steel in order to irritate him and break his concentration. They both draw closer to each other, step by step until they both are standing inches apart. Jake feigns some punches to scare Victor a few steps back. Now Victor is eyeing every movement of Jake with the alertness of a tiger, ready to prowl any moment himself.
Ray White : This will be a tough match to call. They are well balanced in the department of technicality, but I hope Jake uses his second nature to his sole advantage...stay aerial and Victor is just another pawn en route to his success ladder.
Jiimy Pate : I have heard of Victor's technicality in his previous promotions. The guy is a master of counter-attacks. It won't be easy to take down the Dark Warrior. And look here they go...!
Jake and Steel, both extend their arms to the fullest and clutch each tightly in a grapple lockdown. Struggle encompasses the expressions of both the superstars as each one of them tries to overpower the other. They keep on pushing each other for few seconds, desperate to gain the upper hand in the starting course of the match. Victor utilizes his sheer strength to drive Jake off his feet and hump him in mid air to which Jake responds by twitching desperately in random directions. The Ironfist, as he is called, pushes another ounce of his superior strength to charge forward and drive Jake's back into the forestanding ringpost. Jake's back meets the punishing corner with a crack, as he opens his mouth in utter agony. Victor loosens the grip and Jake now stands intact on the mat holding his back. But before he could breath a sigh of relief Victor delivers a cracking uppercut squarely below his lower jawline. Jake's facial expressions almost pop out with the resounding attack. Instantly he is taken aback by another offense from the Dark Warrior who is trying to tear him apart with repeated shoulder thrusts focused at Jake's abdomen. There seems to be no space to breath air for a single moment as Victor, zealously, is throwing everything to bring Jake down. Such intensity is being showcased by him after a very long time...probably his first time ever in EVPW. The stature of the match and his opponent seems to be fueling his inevitable hunger, setting his inside ablaze with determination and driving him towards such an offensive strategy. Jake seems to be abashed with such a treatment at the hands of a lesser experienced veteran, some sort of blasphemy to his growing legacy which can be observed by looking at a section of crowd...who are holding a abominable, abhorrent expression on their partially wrinkled faces. Victor continues his slaughter abrasively with vicious, perfectly aimed punches at Jake's forehead. One, two, three, four...four straight punches on his surgically operated skull. Some more fans take offense to this and react by howling a loud boo. Victor pauses to stare at the crowd and shoots a distasteful look, something very uncommon, a counterpart of his original self. He is showing some heel traits lately which the loyal fans cannot gulp down their fat throats. In spite of this, the arena is scrambled with loyalties spread in small quantas, hence producing an overall mixed reaction. Meanwhile in the ring, Steel grabs Jake from back, clutching his hair in his right hand, flips him instantly and drives his forehead in the turnbuckle. The self proclaimed "Saviour" rebounds with the impact and wails out in pain. He covers his face with both his palms, trying to refrain himself from letting out his pain openly.
Ray White : Thats totally disgusting! Totally cheap! Totally unfair!
Jimmy Pate : Nah! He's working on Jake's weakness, who , I suppose, is still fresh and prone to damage after surgery...if he had one. Anyways...targetting Jake's skull seems to be an effective way to break him down early in the match.
Ray White : I fear as to what will happen when the foreign objects get introduced. That will be sick! Although it will make the match ll the way more spectacular.
Jimmy Pate : Already afraid...aye! Bet on this...that by the end of this match, you will see this place look no less than a slaughterhouse. The place will be washed with deep, crimson stream of blood. After all, this is Midnight Massacre...on the KILLING GROUNDS...babay!
The emotions are already running high at such early point of the match. Victor Steel takes another step in inflicting damage as he walks full length of the ring, diagonally towards the corner opposite to Jake's. He wastes no time in turning around and charging ahead like a raging bull. Inches away from contact, Jake barely makes the escape towards his right by dodging out of harm's way. Victor fails an attempt at a spear which leaves him devastated as his right shoulder smacks the steelpost with the impact resembling a car crash. Many fans rise with a hullabaloo at this spectre sight. Jake unleashes his machismo as he taunts the crowd and goes for the kill.
Ray White : Whoa! That was freaking awesome. Jake is back in the match. Too bad for Victor...that sometimes I think he is nothing more than just a strong, masculine, technical and totally FREAKED OUT bull trying to wrestler in an absconding fashion.
Jimmy Pate : Well kudos to Jake's agility that he saved himself from sustaining considerable amount of damage. Otherwise a Victor Steel Spear = Half of the mission accomplished.

As Victor backs out from the turnbuckles, fully expecting Jake to be standing there waiting for him, a quick but sharp pain inflames the back of his right knee. Before he even has a chance to turn fully around two more quick flashes of pain shoot up the leg causing Victor to drop down to one knee. Transitioning from the low left foot kicks, Jake swiftly changes his stance and repositions his weight before connecting with a slightly off balanced right footed roundhouse kick to Victor’s right shoulder. Barely even grimacing from the shot, Steel tries to block the next one but Jake’s speed advantage seems to be making the difference as another kick lands well against the shoulder. Not one to stop until his plan is foiled; Jake brings his right leg back and almost cocks it in place before aiming then teeing off against Victor’s right shoulder with another vicious right roundhouse kick. This time the stinging pain of it seems to be too much and Victor recoils giving Jake the simple opening he was looking for. Jake reaches down and grabs Victor’s arm by his wrist while placing his knee against the back of Victor’s neck, forcing his face against the middle turnbuckle. Jake quickly tucks the right wrist of Victor Steel into his armpit and pulls back while forcing his knee forward more and more into Victor’s neck, viciously stretching Victor’s right arm from both the shoulder and elbow joints. Probably more disgruntled from being placed in such a predicament than anything, Victor tries to squirm away and manages to do fairly well until Jake relocates his knee to the right shoulder and pins it against the turnbuckle where Victor’s head was previously placed. This time, the submission proves to be affecting much more efficiently. Jimmy Pate: “He’s a sneaky little bastard isn’t he? Not only did he capitalize from a highly strategic but equally as cheap move but he also converted the thing into an illegal submission!” Ray White: “Yeah but like you said, Jakey is just strategic. I mean look at the match, it’s practically David versus Goliath! Jake is just doing what he can to survive…” JP: “No, if that were the case he’d be running around more and be trying to tire down Victor, instead he’s going to manipulate his own rules to his advantage like the sadistic maniac that he is! I can’t wait until Victor busts Jake open then beat him in his own match!” RW: “You’re just fantasizing James, and what a silly fantasy it is! See normally my fantasies with Jake do involve me and him wrestling but the scenario is a little different…” With all of the talk about fantasies, Jake’s current fantasy of winning this match with a simple and easy finish begins to grow bleaker and bleaker. Flexing his right arm and using the strength advantage to its utmost potential Victor grabs onto the nearby rope with his free left hand and draws Jake forward and causes him to slowly lose his grip from the modified armbar. Jake tries to fight back by using his entire weight to pull back Victor’s right hand but soon realizes it’s obsolete and entirely let’s go and brings his knee back from the shoulder joint. Victor, either relived or content, grabs his right shoulder with an almost solemn look and rotates it around and not entirely expecting Jake to be back so heartily on the offensive. Like the ruthless and heartless pitbull that he is, Jake lifts himself off the ground with both feet and connects with a very simple front dropkick to the slowly weakening shoulder. This time Victor blatantly recoils feeling the sharp and instantaneous pain in his shoulder and forces himself up to his feet to try and avoid any further damage to himself. With overconfidence beginning to takeover, his worst enemy ever, Jake scrambles up to his feet and quickly grabs Victor’s right hand and tries to Irish whip him against the opposite set of ropes. Unfortunately, Jake fails the realize that he was just recently over powered, and Victor displays it again by planting himself flat against the mat and grabs Jake by the wrist with his free left hand. Jake foolishly tries to overpower the much larger man but soon regrets it as Victor pulls back and literally throws Jake out of the ring through the middle and top ropes. Landing on the outside ring mats with a thud on his back, Jake lets out a slight yelping gulp as the wind is knocked out of him. After giving himself a slight breather in the ring and taking a second to rotate his arm around to make sure it’s alright Victor climbs out of the ring through the middle and top ropes, landing a few feet shy of Jake. The winded Savior quickly props himself up to his knees and coyly makes a T shape with his hands, basically calling for a time-out in the match. Victor brushes off the rather pitiful gesture and advances forward to the slowly backing away Jake Diamond, who is still trying to make Victor back down with his T shaped gesture. It isn’t until Victor gets into a close range of Jake and grabs him by the head that he realizes he’s fallen for the oldest trick in the book. As Steel reaches out for Jake, the self proclaimed Savior brings his foot up between Victor’s spread legs landing nearly perfectly with a low blow. Jake can only smile like the jackal that he is as Victor slowly slumps down from the pain from the cheap shot. “That cheap son of a bitch! I don’t even know how you can watch this prick wrestle, he’s probably the dirtiest fighter in the history of the business and yet he still has people chanting his name!” “There’s nothing wrong with being a little dirty Jimmy, besides Jake just takes any and every opening he can, he’s opportunistic!” “No, opportunistic would be hitting a clean opening on your opponent that would turn the tide, Jake low blows people and pokes them in the eye. You know something? Jake could learn a lot from somebody like Victor Steel instead of being such an egotistical brat…” TBCB Victor (OOC: Bah, sorry, I totally forgot about this and my social obligations this weekend kinda took over. I’m sure you weren’t looking for such a short reply but the next one will be better, make sure yours counts buddy )
