This is one of my old promos from another fed. My character at the time was this guy who was sick of the world he lived in and wanted to find a way to change it, much like how I am in real life.
----------------------------------------------
A man is seen walking through a dark alleyway. He's got a hooded trenchcoat on, hiding any possible visible features. He's got black gloves on and the scene seems rather creepy as right when he's about to exit the alleyway into the main population walking across the sidewalk, he stops and sits down in the shadows and just stares out into the public, as the public doesn't even seem to see him. He then raises his head, still his facial features can't be seen, except for his mouth, then he begins to speak.
Man:
There comes a time in every persons life that they have to decide what their future can entail. For some, they will conform to what the world demands. The corporate people who make thousands of dollars for sitting at a desk. Others will sit around waiting for hand outs from people that are rich and famous. Some will become what the younger generation see's as popular. The people wearing pants around their ankles, with shirts 20 sizes to big, or being a whore and havin sex every other day. Then there are people like me. The people that choose not to conform, the people that are seen as public rejects. For years I've sat on the sidelines, watching all this happen and laugh. Those people they won't know what they want. Their only dreams and desires is getting money any way nessiscary, living the easy life, believing they have it hard. They'll come home to their wives and complain about how hard their day was. *The man then takes off the hood reveiling his still reletivly unknown identity* While people like me, who has no wife, who truly have a rough life. Traveling city to city. I'm the person, these people walked past in school, sitting next to me, not knowing who I am, or why I haven't conformed to how the world see's how people should be. I'm the outcast because I have a dream of Professional Wrestling. I pursued this dream, while those people said it was a useless dream. The fact is that, those people are the ones who never had a dream to pursue. Those people always believed that they were great in this world, while they cast aside people like me, because I don't view life as they do. I was turned down by every girl I ever asked out because I wasn't their vision of the right man. I was cast aside in the middle of class for my silence. Well, those girls who turned me down, are now coming to me and asking me out now that I've made it somewhere in life, while they're still sucking away on cocks in a one night stand. The people who cast me aside are now wanting to be friends now that I've done something they've never been able to do. I'm the one the people who walked down the halls at school, now having those peices of trash come to me asking where they know me from, trying to pretend they actually know me. I'm the darkest flame, in the brightest places. I'm the one now turning people away because I have no use for them. I'm the one who walks daily in the shadows, refusing to step into the light.. My name is Chris Pyro. I'm here to prove that those people who conformed to the world, only threw away what they could've had. The people who have never conformed to the world are the ones that I accept, because those are the people who are now living their true dreams.
Chris then stands to his feet, and walks out into the streets, with the people still not realizing he's there. He laughs at something, probably the arrogance of those people.
Chris:
Whats todays society about? Living with the memories of the life they passed up? Looking at their children, knowing that one day, they will be like them? Or forcing a life that they turned down, shoving it down their throats, forcing them to try and be something their fathers never did? Or is todays society about whats labelled as "in" or "out" when there are no labels among peoples intrests? These people are naive. They never truly wanted to live this life, even though they act as they do. The pressure of their friends being that way, and there for believing thats the way to be. These people have betrayed their true selves, and changed into the public image. I've never been that way. I've never given up on who I truly am. I've been labeled an outcast because I've remained true to myself. These people will never remember, and never be able to revive their past, and try to change it. These people will be forver stuck in the past, but never able to change the coarse of history. These people will sit at home at night, crying, weeping that they've destroyed who they really were. These people will watch me on TV and remember that I was the person they never thought I would make it big in live because I never conformed. These people will be forced to look back on their lives and know that I'll be the one being recognized world wide, what every person that sees me, knows thats what they wanted in life, but sold out to themselves by not pursuing their interests, and going after what society wanted.
Chris Pyro then stops in the middle of the street and turns to the camera. He smiles as he begins to speak again.
Chris:
And amongst those people, are also ones who will forever hold grudges against others and try to find loop holes to torment those people without breaking the written rules. Those are the people who lie to themselves as well as to believing they are the bigger man, when in actuality, they are the smaller man. I've seen everything that happens, and hate seeing society in this state of deception, and lies that are cloaked as truths. Those are the people within the wrestling business that I am out to destroy, and show them the lies they've lived with.
Chris then walks into another alleyway and disappears in the shadows.
