I'm moving the card back a few weeks from the initially planned date of tomorrow because there just hasn't been much activity as of yet. I'm going to reach out through Facebook because I think part of our members didn't get the notice that all of this was back on and see what we can drum up.
With that said, From The Ashes will commence on May 12th and will run for two weeks. Due to everyone being older now and not being able to be as active as we once were, the rule for posting again if your opponent hasn't responded since your last post will be 4 days between them (obviously, you don't need to wait that long if your opponent responds after yours) and we're going to do entrances in a way that doesn't eat up the early days of contests like they have in the past. Basically, they're going to be entirely optional so that people can get right into the match. Instead of posting entrances like we have in the past, I'm asking that anyone who wishes to have theirs included write them BEFORE the card starts so that you can throw them up on the first day. After May 12th, anyone wishing to add an entrance will need to PM it to me and I will add it into the first post of the match as I'll be starting each match thread with the rules of the match and links to the contracts for each wrestler in the match.
I'm also asking that anyone requesting to be on the card give me a link to the contract that they want used for this since a lot of people have multiple that have been put up before and I want to ensure we're using the one with the most accurate representation of your characters. If you want to make a new one, that's fine, but you can also search the site for an old one if you want to save yourself time.
If you and someone else have worked out plans to face one another, please let me know in your sign up and let me know if you have a match type decided or not.
Also, in trying to use various ways to connect members when we aren't on the site here, I've created a subReddit for members - www.reddit.com/r/EVPW - Feel free to join in and you should be approved as a submitter within 12 hours at worst. If there's any other platforms besides Facebook or Reddit that a lot of members use, I'd also be open to starting groups within other forms of social media or whatever just as small ways for us to all keep within the loop and communicate with one another since I understand that most people aren't going to be checking in on here like we used to do before basically everything was on our phones - which ProBoards isn't really good for (there is an app called Tapatalk that can be used to keep up on the site in a more mobile-friendly way, but it's honestly not very good).
