The scene opens up in an open room. Bookshelves line one wall, maps on another with a big table in the centre. Around it sit Captain Steve Rumlow, Agent Shadow and Chris Pyro at the head of the table. A series of dossiers sit on the table with names of various EVPW superstars on them. After a few moments, the door at the other end of the room opens up as "Skie" Reinhardt walks in.
Skie:
I got what you asked for, sir. A little digging, but it seems this is everything we have on the Knights of the Squared Circle.
Skie hands the commander of Project Rebirth a group of dossiers, before handing the others to Rumlow and Shadow and taking a seat for herself. Pyro relaxes his posture as he opens up the first folder.
Pyro:
With Grockadoc out of the picture for now, having not been seen since Agent Shadow took him out two weeks ago, we need to move on while staying vigilant. These Knights seem to be an interesting cast of characters, that seem to take this too much as a joke. While we try to make EVPW the best it can be, these three seem too interested in playing Dungeons and Dragons rather than take this place seriously.
Steve sits up and opens the file labelled "TPK".
Steve:
How can we take these guys seriously? This The Psycho Kid could easily be beaten by throwing him some waffles and syrup.
Pyro smiles a little at Steve's assessment of TPK. His knowledge, though, of what TPK can be capable of betrays his smile a little.
Skie:
What is it, boss?
Pyro looks up to Skie and then the others.
Pyro:
Don't underestimate any of these Knights. While they do seem preoccupied with games and breakfast, these guys can go in the ring. I have never watched Matt Acid wrestle, and this dossier on David Diamond seems too shallow for my liking. The Psycho Kid is the other one I have any experience with, and while yes, he is a little too obsessed with breakfast foods, he's dangerous. He hears voices and isn't completely here with us on planet Earth. So if you're wanting to go to war with the Knights of the Squared Circle, than you treat them with respect, and be prepared for anything.
Agent Shadow looks to his trainer and commander.
Shadow:
Are you sure you're not just overreacting here? These are nerds that think they can go in the ring. I don't see why you are so concerned. TPK I could see, if it wasn't for his focus on breakfast foods. But Matt Acid cares too much about being seen as a clown. David Diamond seems to be the only one with balls, and he's only a manager...
Pyro shoots his student a look for his last comment, clearly not appreciating the "only a manager". Agent Shadow realizes what he says quick.
Shadow:
Umm.... No offence, sir.
Pyro shakes his head before looking towards Rumlow.
Pyro:
Anything else to contribute, Captain?
Rumlow closes his dossier and looks to the leader of Project Rebirth.
Rumlow:
No, sir. Looks like we should be preparing for war as soon as possible.
Pyro:
You heard the Captain. We're moving out. Knights of the Squared Circle are the target. We will hit them where we find them.
The scene fades to black as Project Rebirth stands up and walks out of the war room.
