I'm saying this on behalf of myself and myself only. I can't speak for other members of XWA. I'm not an admin, so I can't exactly force them to act how I want them to act, although I did at least post a topic trying.
I'd like to apologize for anything we've done to continue this so-called war. Most of it is happening on our site, namely us badmouthing EVPW in various topics and the Shoutbox. I'm all for freedom of speech and having fun, but there comes a point when it's just childish.
We've removed the new jobbers we added, based on Vlad and Genghis Vaughan. I'm a General Manager, so I can at least make sure they don't come back. But, unfortunately, they're going to continue talking about EVPW as long as you guys take about us or your members come over to XWA to spam or whatever.
This whole thing started because of two instances. One, Vlad coming onto XWA and showing Riley some PMs I sent him in late 2014 and two, Proggy joining EVPW with a character designed to hate XWA.
The thing with Michael was caused by me jokingly saying I left EVPW because I was booked in a stipulation I didn't like. It was a joke. I feel like Vlad should've at least contacted me about it first, to get my side of the story, before going and showing Riley personal messages I sent him in confidence.
However, I can understand why it'd get taken out of context and I apologize for that. Even though I wasn't on EVPW for about a week, I did still fully intend on eFedding here. I was just busy with multiple feds, including XWA, as well as personal stuff, so I hadn't really had much time to log on.
Then, there's the Proggy thing. Myke basically explained what happened here. Essentially, Proggy didn't do much as a GM on XWA, so Myke called him on it and he quit, joined EVPW and made his character all anti-XWA. This is no offense to you Proggy, but I don't see why you took what Myke said so hard. He was just being truthful. I will admit, Myke has a way about him sometimes where he can come off a bit harsh, but he was right. You really didn't do much. You were basically on the team to be the graphics guy, but you weren't making us posters for our PPVs or updating the roster topic. You did give us some roster pics after you stepped down, though, so I thank you for that.
Basically, what I'm saying is there shouldn't be some sort of war between the two feds. It got started over two silly situations and got absolutely blown out of proportion. Now both sites are full of topics badmouthing one another, you guys have jobbers based on some of our characters, we had jobbers based on yours, although we deleted them. It's just a mess.
I just think both of our eFeds are above this. Like I said in the beginning of this post, though, I can't control XWA's members. They're likely going to continue making jokes about EVPW, but it won't be anything more than that. They aren't, as far as I'm aware, going to come here and start trouble. I'd appreciate if, at the least, you guys could do the same.
tl;dr I'm sorry on behalf of the members of XWA for how we've acted as well as myself for how this all began.
