Syn stands in his corner as he looks across at his opponent, no stranger to the squared circle himself, just the mention of his name brings fans, to either rage or happiness. The Father of Syn, drops his head, before throwing his arms out and up as he lifts his head to the sky. The fans boo at the cockiness being displayed by the still rookie. The two men lock eyes before making their way to the center of the ring, locking up in the dance of the collar and elbow tie up, battling with each other for leverage. Syn shifts his weight and it is enough to push Desperado back to the ring ropes. The ref comes over and asks for a clean break, which Syn ignores as he continues to press into him.
The ref begins his five count, Syn loosens the grip and lets up at four, lightly tapping the chest of Desperado as he takes several steps back, this is followed by him throwing his arms out and lifting his head to the sky. Desperado thinks about attacking but holds off letting the young rookie have his moment in the sun. The two superstars come back to the center of the ring before locking up again in a collar and elbow tie up and the dance for position begins again.
Syn hasn't lost a beat, his total lack of respect and cockiness still gets my blood running, but he is in the ring against my Despy poo. Doesn't he realize that even with his beautiful body, Desperado can take him to town at anytime.
Well Ray, you figure we haven’t seen either of these men in action in a long time, so there could be some ring rust on both superstars. But Syn would be best remembered to watch himself as his current opponent is not to be taken lightly.
The dance continues for several seconds before Desperado gets the advantage this time, pushing Syn towards the nearest turnbuckles, before the ref can even count, Desperado breaks but quickly follows it up with a hard knife edge chop that echos throughout the arena, the fans in attendance do there best Flair impersonation, as Syn is seen contorting his face in pain. Desperado again hauls back before laying again into the chest of Syn, causing another red mark to appear on the chest, as the fans do the Flair impersonation again. Desperado again lays into the young rookie with another knife edge chop, causing the fans to again Whooooo! Desperado then leans in grabbing the wrist and back of the rookie, before leaning back pulling Syn out of the turnbuckles across the ring into the far set of turnbuckles which Syn hits with extreme force, the impact jars his spine. Desperado runs across the ring gathering up speed, but instead of connecting with a closeline, he finds the taste of rubber from a size fifteen boot to the chops, the impact enough to stumble him back several steps, Desperado charges in again and this time gets met by an elbow to the chops for his effort. Syn smiles with a cocky smile on his face as he leans into Desperado with a European uppercut, that is followed up by another European uppercut, and a third European uppercut, the series ends with Syn hitting an almost picture perfect drop kick that sends the experienced wrestler to the mat, which gets the fans to boo.
Jimmy would you look at that, it would appear that Syn got the upper hand and dropped Desperado to the mat. I don't like watching these two put there bodies on the line.
Ray, for once stop being a wuss and enjoy what will probably be a great match between the cocky rookie and Desperado. This match is still fresh and I am sure that Desperado will start schooling Syn here before too long.
Desperado stands to his feet, as he rubs his chin, not expecting to be on the end of that flurry. The two wrestlers lock up again as the dance begins again. Desperado gets the advantage and locks in a side headlock, using his arms he squeezes as hard as he can trying to cut the air off from Syn. The Father of Syn takes his left hand and slaps Desperado's back looking for a way to get free. Once he thinks he has the leverage he tries pushing Desperado off but has no effect as Desperado takes several steps but maintains the side headlock and squeezes again. Syn is down to one knee, as he struggles to try and get out of the side headlock, he can feel the air being cut off as Desperado has now begun to lean into his body, putting his body weight onto his back.
Syn struggles for several seconds before making it up to his feet, Desperado continues to wrench the side headlock, but feels his grip loosen as he feels the tip of an elbow into his side, this is followed by a second and a third elbow. Syn seeing a change places his left hand on the back of Desperado and pushes off with all his might, the effect causes Desperado to run towards the nearside ropes, as he bounces off Syn drops to the mat as Desperado runs over and heads to the far ropes, Syn stands up but finds that Desperado has held onto the ropes and has taken it outside to gather his wits and figure out his next plan of attack.

His breath was getting caught in his lungs as he rested his back against the ropes of the ring. Each gasp of oxygen burned through the aches and pains of his body, threatening to lose the will to stand at each passing moment. It was a mistake. He shouldn’t have entered the ring again. Not with the minimum training he’d had. He wasn’t the man he used to be. He wasn’t the Desperado the fans were chanting for. He was just James, the kid who got his ass whooped all over Brooklyn.
He let out a sigh, disappointed in himself and guilty for his cowardice as he leaned back against the ropes and let them guide him to the outside. The man of a thousand plans had none today, nothing other than leave. Hanging his head in shame, the former EVPW Champion made his way toward the area outside of the ring proximity, ignoring the cries of the crowd.
"Is he...? Is he walking away from the match? What a coward? At least respect his opponent enough to give him a decent match. The audience here has paid money for this."
"My poor Despy must be hurt. Otherwise he would never have done this JP!"
It was better they thought he was a coward or, as Desperado hoped, uncaring than watch him lose to a rookie. At least his reputation in the ring would remain. That was all that he had left now. He couldn’t lose that.
He had tried, albeit half-heartedly, but his body was at its limit now and the Brooklyn Brawler knew, there was not much more he could do in that ring that was worthy of his reputation. He was surprised he was still holding onto such a thing after all that had happened since he had left the ring.
Why did it even matter anymore? Perhaps it was for the name and the memories it held in the hearts of people all around him. He couldn’t let that name down.
Desperado began to walk away from the ring, listening to the count in the back of his mind as he approached the exit. He thought about looking back to see the carnage he was leaving but couldn’t bring himself about to look upon the angry and disappointed faces in the crowd. He would make it up to them someday but now was not the time.
[End of Match] (Syn wins by Count-Out)
