The scene opens up outside of a fast food restaurant, early in the morning. Agent Shadow is watching a video of the comments made by TNT. Though you can't see his face, you can tell that he is frustrated. Pyro comes out of the restaurant with coffee and bags of food. He looks towards Shadow, handing him a coffee.
Pyro:
What's up?
Shadow:
Sir, have you seen this?
Shadow tosses Pyro the phone, with the Dark Jester catching it without a glance. He hits the play button. A smirk comes across his face. Pyro shakes his head laughing.
Pyro:
Shouldn't care so much about what some pathetic drunk says. Only those of least intelligence rely on such pitiful attempts at humour to hide their insecurities.
Shadow:
Sir... But his comments about Brian Brooks and Amanda Hallsworth...
Pyro:
Son, you're concerning yourself too much with meaningless problems. What he fails to remember is that I am a two time tag team champion, and a two time TV champion in EVPW, the reason the Psychotic Circus hold the longest reign as GHW tag team champions, and have lead a team to another EVPW tag title reign. And while men like Vladimir Strife and Nicholas Carson are known for their violence, they never compared to what I have done. Their violence stayed in the ring. Mine, I destroyed families. I destroyed friendships. Three times I brought this company to its knees. You want to know why TNT has to say such things? He is afraid. Afraid of me. Afraid of what I can do to him. Shadow, I picked you out specifically. Your military service record itself is enough of a reason for TNT to be concerned just knowing you're in the building. Add that to what I can do psychologically, and anyone here will never be able to sleep again. Now, unless you want an example of the ass kicking TNT will get, I'd recommend you get in the vehicle and haul ass. We've got 9 days to arrive in Concord, and we're behind schedule.
Shadow salutes Pyro before climbing into the vehicle. Shadow takes one last look at the paused image of TNT.
Shadow:
So, is it true?
Pyro:
Is what true, soldier?
Shadow:
Did you really used to dress up as a ninja?
Pyro:
A long time ago. It's best not to bring it up.
Both men focus on the road ahead of them as they drive towards EVPW's return.
