Rhaps is standing in a dimly lit room. The walls are covered in grime and dirt from decades of disuse which has now left the entire structure a rundown shell of what it once was. A number of hooks are visible in the ceiling and from these dummies are hanging upside down. A plastic sheet has been wrapped around each one and they are suspended from the hooks by use of a chain which entwines the whole dastardly creation. Underneath the plastic wrapping them there are a myriad of red streaks, symbolism for the blood and destruction left in the wake of the Beast Unleashed. Upon these have been hung signs with various names scribbled across them. The manic Englishman is wearing a truly gruesome visage and he has made sure that the Decimation Championship is visible on his shoulder. In his right hand his infamous knife is held loosely. Rhaps looks into the camera before speaking.
Rhaps: As many of you are no doubt aware, Rhaps has become the Decimation Champion. It was not the display of dominance that the Beast Unleashed hoped it would be but it was a victory and a symbol of so much more. Undefeated streaks and empty threats to finish Rhaps are just that and Rhaps proved that despite everything the Bitch of Bodmin Moor tried to throw at the SIC Monster, he was too dogged and too strong to bury. For all of her accolades and all of her posturing, she like so many others came up short. So I should offer a thank you to my Imperfect brethren. The myth of Envy has been buried, proved as rumour and discarded just as quickly. Thank you Nicholas Carson for your efforts to make this triumph possible, thank you for your shining Imperfect example and thank you for making it possible to destroy you.
Rhaps approaches the camera and he shifts the title belt on his shoulder into a more comfortable position. Somehow the Englishman knows that this simple action will add more ire to his words and create a herculean rage inside the mind of the would-be serial killer. The Canterbury Carver smiles, his eyes bloodshot from lack of sleep giving him an even more crazed look.
Carson, you are and were like a brother to Rhapsy. The Imperfects will remain the crowning achievement of the Safety Ranger’s career and the torches carried on by Demon and you are merely a continuance of my quest to destruction. Because let’s face it Carson. You were nothing before Rhaps and you slid back into the shadows. How disappointing for one who had so much potential. You sit there and whine about lost opportunities rather than going out and taking what you want at the point of a knife. The Dark Court left? Well track them down and make them rue the day they crossed your path. You led Envy to the brink but lacked the will to force her over the edge. What you lack Carson, Rhapsy still has in abundance and he will defy any man or woman, fight to the brink and even if he has to crawl over that line to be the victor, Rhaps will always do so. In some it’s called heart, in others determination and in beings like the Shank King, domination. Rhaps is willing to put everything on the line, to destroy the unfortunate individual before me or be destroyed. In spite of the Total Carnage that Envy heaped upon Rhaps, he didn’t quit and would not be shoved into the abyss. Rhaps always finds a way while little babies like you cry about not being gifted everything. The Beast Unleashed showed you a new world and unfortunately it was a path too bright and too intimidating for you to walk it.
Rhaps finishes his rant before turning on his heel. For the first time he approaches the dummies that have been hung up from the hooks. The camera zooms in and the names on each one are visible for the first time. Rhaps walks to one in particular and stands next to it, idly twirling the knife while he does so. The name on the sign reads ‘Human Wreckingball.’ Rhaps pats it happily as if recalling some fond memory and nods to himself in said recollection.
The next thing to address is your accusation that Rhapsy used his reputation to sway EVPW management into giving him a title match against that slag? This is the most incorrect statement of your pathetic rant at how unfair life is and how you have no friends. The truth of the matter is that Rhaps destroyed people and he earned that match from a whole career driven toward one goal. That was simply the annihilation of everyone placed before him. Take Human Wreckingball here. He was Rhapsy’s first victim on the road to Imperfection. He thought Rhaps would err when the moment of truth came but he was the first to understand that Rhaps is unrelenting and unyielding.
Rhaps moves away from that dummy and walks up to another one. This one has a thicker chain wrapped around it and blood from it is dripping onto the ground. The crimson pools thicken one drip at a time while the Slice-O-Matic 9000 reaches down a hand and smears it across the floor. He then reaches his drenched digits back to his face and wipes it across his monstrous visage as if he is putting on war paint. The sign on this dummy reads ‘Demon.’
The next important victim in our list is Demon. He was an imperfect brother, much as you were and even he paled in comparison to the Rhapsitastic One. He threw everything short of the kitchen sink at Rhaps but even he was laid to rest. And in the face of that defeat he became stronger and learned from it, grew by it until he was a dominant reckoning all of his own. But what did little old Carson do? He became a snivelling and whiny brat that deals in life like a baby throwing a rattle from its pram.
The Englishman walks away from the epithet of Demon and walks to a slightly larger one. This one has a special place in the maniac’s heart and a visual representation of the King of the Deathmatch title is laid across it. A crown had been cut into two pieces and they are wrapped up with the chain that holds the entire thing to the ceiling. The name on the sign reads ‘Vladimir Strife.’
Lastly, we come to the former God King. Rhapsy did what few others could do. Rhaps did what the Nicholas Carson couldn’t do. He entered a match with this behemoth and came out the victor. Let us not forget the efforts put forth by Jaggeroth and Big Jim and combined all of these people could not halt the path of the Rhapsitastic One on his way to victory and that was achieved upon his return to EVPW. That and so many other reasons is why Rhaps can call himself the Decimation Champion rather than a boy complaining from the shadows. You were once imperfect brother, you were once beautiful. Now, you are nothing more than a shell like this building. And for these reasons Nicholas, you are no longer imperfect. In fact, you are now perfect. The sad and lonely representation of the fetid and fastidious nature that this world has become and you are the perfect example that shall be set. When you are brought low, remember who it was that did it to you.
Rhaps finishes speaking before walking towards the camera lens. The camera backs up to avoid the Decimation Champion from walking into it. The Englishman finally walks out of view as the camera focusses on another dummy that has been suspended from the ceiling. The name ‘Nicholas Carson’ has been written on the sign in blood and Rhaps has rammed his knife next to it.
