Aryana "Envy" Reinfield (c) vs. Rhaps!
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: Rhaps
Note: This match was just a shining example of some of the best talent in EVPW. Both of you did excellent jobs. Rhaps, as always, is brilliantly descriptive, just an absolutely vivid explanation of the action that lays out every nuance for the reader. Envy, likewise, brings a flare and personality that breathes life and feeling into her posts in a way that I've never seen so consistently. Both had some minor errors in their posts and it was close enough that the absence of them on either side would have sealed the deal and I was just absolutely tearing at my hair through a lot of it wondering how I could call this match. In the end, the action sealed the deal. Envy's was excellent and her description of the double knee gutbuster was incredible, but Rhaps spot of Envy dropkicking him from the turnpost down to the steps below was just all that more intense and creative and one of the few moments that have made me sit back and go "Holy shit..". The two of you could fight a hundred battles though and probably end up 50-50 on them and I'll be sad if I don't see at least one more out of you two. This kind of match definitely warrants another in the future. - Vlad
