The sky is dark as night, thunder is heard off in the distance, lighting dances across the sky, illuminating the winding dirt road that the cab driver is following. The man in the back looks out the window as the scene unfolds, several farm houses appear to dot the landscape, but none appear to be lived in. Looking over the piece of paper, his jacket being used to try and hide the effects of the powder that was so lovingly placed inside his body when he inhaled. The man begins another coughing fit, this one sends unfathomable pains shooting through his body, the effects cause his very muscles to cramp up, causing him to bite his lip in order to prevent from screaming. Blood begins to trickle out of his nose, and he quickly takes out a rag and wipes it, before putting the rag back inside his jacket. The cab driver looks in the rear view mirror at his strange companion, and wonders what in Gods green earth this man could want out here in the middle of nowhere. As the lighting crackles and dances across the sky, up ahead in the distance appears a church, the only lights left are the headlights from the taxi, as it slowly pulls up to what appear to be old iron gates. The man stops the taxi and the meter, tells the man the price, the man pays him plus a tip, gets out of the cab and looks up at the old abandoned church. The taxi speeds out of the area, leaving the man known as Syn alone.
Syn begins another coughing fit, the pain wracks his body, hurting him well past the bones, causing him to almost fall to the ground. The gate appears to magically open, and Syn slowly walks through the gates and is greeted by grave stones on either side of the path, covered with weeds. Ignoring them grave stones he proceeds to walk up the old stone steps to a double set of arched doors. upon closer inspection, the church looks to be from about the 1800's, hasn't seen a good paint job in who knows how long, shutters on the outside just barely hang to the hinges with which they are attached. A cold, biting wind appears out of nowhere, almost as if trying to get Syn to hurry up and open the doors to step inside. The man opens the double set of arched wooden doors, a loud creak and groan is heard as the big doors begin to move, dust being pushed away in the process. Syn walks into the church, what pews remain are covered in cobwebs, dust, and maybe some dead animal bones. The smell of death and decay begins to waft in the air and permeate the nostrils. Syn looks around as he walks deeper inside the Church, stopping just short of an old altar. The mans muscles begin to ache even more as another coughing fit, wracks his body, causing him to fall onto the floor and double over in immense pain. Eerie laughter fills the church, echoing of the walls as they begin to seep into the ears of Syn, the pain of the cough, followed by the laughter in his ears causes him to scream at the top of his lungs, before a voice speaks.
