OOC: Leading up to end of Envy vs Pyro and thoughts
The camera cuts backstage where we find one Ethan Hawke, the man who earlier in the evening survived a Triple Cage Match with Jerry Nate. Little Birdy is standing in front of a monitor watching as Envy and Chris beat each other senseless, knowing no matter who he faces at Genesis he is in for the match of his life. He watches weapon shot after weapon shot and trash talking moment after trash talking moment with a hint of worry and intrigue, those eyes are locked on the screen like a child looking into the window of a toy store.
"That's right get her... There you go... You been acting strange lately, but I really can't fault you for that... Oh shit!"
Hawke quickly turns away for a moment before forcing his eyes back onto the scene.
"That HAD to hurt."
He continues to watch the bout until the conclusion. It is at this time he notices the camera on him. He applauds the performance he has just witnessed.
"One Hell of a match you two. I have to admit that one had me guessing all the way through. Looks like it is The Pure Cut Gem of EVPW taking on The New Zealand Nightmare. Irony or fate? Envy has been one Hell of roll since she signed up for this company and I have been watching it all unfold... I mean how can I not? Bella has been stuck with that green haired harpy on her back for weeks. And mix in the fact I KNEW I would sooner or later have to meet her in the ring. Can't say I am really looking forward to it... I mean it's not like I'm an asshole who likes to beat up on women or anything like that... But I can't honestly say when I get her in the ring that I'll be seeing her as a woman... I mean she is as smart, vicious, and calculating as anyone else on the roster... So Genesis I hope she is not thinking I am going to take it easy on her... She may be of the 'fairer' sex, but when push comes to shove she is another opponent. And I will not stop... I will bite and claw my way to the EVPW Decimation if I have to. And I know there is every chance of her hearing me say this and it might be signing my own warrant, but at the end of the day. Genesis is TOO important of a night to let slip through my fingers. And I don't care what I have to do... I don't care how hard I have to fight."
Ethan runs his fingers through his dark locks, a hungry look in his eyes.
"Envy know come Genesis I am going to give you everything I have and I know you will do the same. I don't expect to be one hundred percent after that match, but I know for a fact you will be feeling me just as much. That said... May the best wrestler win... Good luck.."
The Diamond begins the trip back to the locker room so he can pack his stuff and prepare for Genesis.
