Just throwing out some ideas for upcoming shows and PPVs. Match ideas. Here's some.
Modified Coffin Match (insert cool name for match here):
Four coffins surround the ring.
Coffin #1 is empty and is the one needed to put your opponent in to win the match.
Coffin #2 is laden with explosives so whoever opens it will get a nasty surprise.
Coffin#3 is full of broken glass, nails, a bed of nails and other sharp
things. You won't be able to win the match if you open this coffin but
you sure can maim the heck out of him/her.
Coffin #4 Is full of weapons or (insert other things here).
The coffins are all black and you can not tell which one is the empty one.
Electric Chair Match:
An electric chair, like one used in prisons for death row inmates, is
stationed somewhere atop the ramp/stage. The two competitors start out
in the ring and beat each other senseless. No holds barred, anything
goes, and in order to win you must render your foe incapable of
defending themselves long enough to place them in the chair and flip the
switch. X amount of voltage will go through them, not enough to kill
them of course, and that is how you win.
Guess The Fall Match:
Same as, lets say, a Three Stages of Hell Match. The difference is, it won't
matter if you score two out of the three falls. The referee or ring
announcer will have a certain number between one to three. After all
three falls have been completed, the referee or ring announcer will
announce the number they were given. Whatever number is announced is the
number of the fall, and whoever won that particular fall in the match
comes out the victor. So, one could actually win falls number 2 and 3
but still lose if the number announced is fall number 1. So, obviously,
one would want to win all three falls so that it would ensure victory,
but such a thing would be difficult if the opponents are evenly matched.
Triple Threat Ultimate Ironman Match:
I have not seen too many, if any, ironman matches that have been fought by three
competitors. I've only seen the one of one types. This could be anything
goes, win a fall by pin or submission only.
I'd like to hear some of your ideas so please post.
