Lizzie Morna stands outside the newly bestowed private locker room of Mighty Man Millson, ruffling her hair and checking her makeup in a hand mirror to prepare for the much hyped interview of the former GHW champion, the Eagle Vision crowd eagerly craning their necks to face the big screen. Morna hands her mirror to the cameraman before turning to face the silver screen.
Lizzie Morna here and in just a few moments, EVPW's newest acquisition, Mighty Man Millson, will make his debut for the promotion in a Hardcore main event against Kade Samuels. Let's see what he has to say about that.
Morna knocks on the door to Millson's locker room and after a couple of seconds, the door opens, the Ultimate Ego walking out to face the cameras. Attired in his signature green trunks and wristbands with 3 gold M's on each side, black boots, black kneepads and a plain black gum shield in his hand. Standing aloof, staring over the camera, Millson's silence gives the interviewer a chance to ask her first question.
Mighty Man Millson, you've spent your entire career at Glory and Honour Wrestling so how does it feel to now be a part of Eagle Vision Pro Wrestling?
Triple M slowly turns his head to face Lizzie before giving a stern answer.
Seriously? Your first question could not have been any more obvious but just out of the goodness of my heart, I'll answer it for you. GHW was the big leagues. All the best talent, all the best fans and all the best announcers worked and went to see GHW. Eagle Vision is just a backyard promotion that will run itself into the ground when I leave the company. Let's be honest. The attraction of a former GHW champion is the only thing keeping this company afloat. It's a sad day when EVPW is your only option but as soon as I'm earning the championship wages, I'm going on to better things. So to answer your question, it feels pretty damn bad to be a part of Eagle Vision Pro Wrestling?
The crowd boo throughout as Millson slanders the very name of EVPW and promotes the now defunct GHW promotion but as she reels from the bluntness of the reply, Morna asks her second question.
OK... So how much do you rate your opponent tonight, Kade Samuels?
Well, like most of the deadbeats on this roster, I don't. Kade Samuels may have been in a main event, but he is not a main event calibre opponent like I asked for. KingBear may have got me on a technicality but when I 'decimate' the kid like the show title suggests, your esteemed GM will have no choice but to place bigger and bigger obstacles in my way, until he runs out of obstacles and realises that I mean everything I've said. I'm EVPW's greatest asset.
With that, Morna prepares her third and final question.
So with that said, what do you think the future holds for you here in this company?
I'm going to go all the way. I'm going to become the EVPW champion and I'm going to show KingBear and all of the wrestlers in the back that I'm no joke. The tacky locker room with sub-par gym equipment, the vile T-shirts, the pay cut, the Hardcore matches that I so despise, the weak opponents, all of these will soon be replaced. When I become the figurehead of this company, I'll be living off a champion's wage and everybody here will have no choice but to acknowledge me as the greatest asset, the most valuable player, the king of the hill, call it what you want. Because EVPW... NEEDS... MORE... MILLSON!
Millson places the gum shield into his mouth and snarls at the camera, before moving off stage to make his way towards the squared circle, leaving Lizzie, the camera crew and the fans to soak in what's been said.
