Venting on a matter (Whispers in the Dark)

The EVPW faithful are ready for the start of another action packed installment of Decimation as suddenly Fort Minor's 'Remember the Name' begins to scratchedly play over the still jacked up Butchertron. Hawke ignores the sputtering piece of junk and heads to the ring.  He slides under the ropes and the crowd sends down their distain onto him. He smirks and motions for a microphone. He recieves the tool of his trade and looks around for a moment.

"I'm sure you people are expecting me to say something along the lines of how I'm going to make Erik tap like a mid-evil, puppy dog, bitch tonight... And make him on of MY ladies in waiting... Or some other joke about the place he's from or some other assholish move... But THAT is NOT why I am out here right now... Right now I am here to discuss... The potential or rumored merger of EVPW and GHW... Now most of the fans that know me... Know I WAS originally on GHW's first version of EVO... And a lot of people asked me why I chose to leave GHW and tour Japan... Well the reason I left GHW was simply due to the fact that the Jackasses that ran the place at the time couldn't keep my contract up to date and agree to the terms there-in... Then on top of that the same idiots... Were to busy giving their favorites or selves title oppurtunities while leaving guys like me... Or quite a few others to be fed to the sharks or to rot in the lower card... I think I had one... ONE... Pay per view performance while in GHW and that was against a man who was one foot out the door... And into an insane asylum because of his wife's murder... And what happened... The bastards made me lay down to that jackass... So yeah I split and went to Japan... That said this merger idea... It's a joke and all it's going to do is allow the people in power now to destroy what EVPW is about... It is going to give them ground to ERASE the HONOR this company has... Yeah this version of EVPW is back to the basics... But it is about competition and NOT about being a god damn flavor of the month...  And I for one REFUSE to allow some untrained monsters... Or some snot nosed Jezebel make me be over looked... I refuse to let some backwood backyard wrestling rejects take MY spot... If I have to do it alone I will... But I suggest that those loyal to this place take a stand and show exactly why we are here... Why we were picked to represent EVPW's rebirth..."

Ethan stops and takes a deep breath. He wipes his lips with the back of his hand, an intense look on his face.

"I'll give you some time to think about what I said... The infection is coming no matter what... But you can either stand back and let it fester and destroy us... OR you can stand and defend our home turf..."

Hawke stops and starts to step through the ropes, but someone catches his eye and the seasoned rookie stops in his tracks.

The sound of taiko drums rip through the PA System as the image of a Japanese Dragon flies across the butchertron. The music begins to pick up as Chris Pyro and Kazue Makoto appear on the stage. Chris has a look of amusement on his face at the words of the Head Hunter. He makes his way to the ring at a brisk pace as Hawke climbs back into the ring.

Pate:
The last time these two were in the same room, sparks flew as they treated each other with a level of distrust.

White:
Hmm? Sorry, just... Imagining.

Chris reaches the ring steps and sprints up them. He climbs through the ropes, Kazue closely behind. Chris asks for a separate microphone.

Chris:
What do we have here, Hawke-Boy? I knew something was with you, but didn't think you were quite like this.

Hawke glares at the Dragon, unamused at him being called "Hawke-Boy".

Chris:
Settle down there, kid. I actually agree with what you've got to say. GHW is a poison. And if the rumours are true, that poison is getting injected deep into this company. When I heard about this, I was even less amused then you are. When I got word, I vowed to keep the honour and integrity of EVPW alive. Now that that honour is being threatened, I see the need for a resistance. A movement to fight those who come to destroy this company. To raise our fists towards the management here, who is allowing a travesty like this to occur. How about it, Fly-boy? You up for joining me?

The Dragon of Sendai offers his hand to Ethan, a smile on his face.

Hawke stares at Pyro's hand for a moment.

"DO IT KID! Make the first right decision I have ever seen you make!"

"MMMM... A Hawke-Pyro collaberation... Sounds hot!"

Ethan seems to be pondering his options and takes another long look at Chris and his blushing bride. His fingers slide back through his streaked scalp and he nods.

"Come on Ethan do it!"

"He's nodding does that mean he's in?"

"SHAKE HIS HAND DAMN IT!"

Ethan takes Pyro's hand and shakes it.

"Sounds... Good..."

The three head back to the back as both have matches to prepare for later in the evening.
