The roar of an engine can be heard outside the Solid Core gym, shortly after the roar of the engine, an old 80's Ford Mustang Hatchback pulls into the parking lot. The car doesnt look to be in the best shape and it seems the roar was more coming from a hole in the muffler than the actual engine. The grey Mustang pulls into a space in the parking lot and the engine sputters when the ignition is turned off. Moments later a young bearded man clambers out of the now open passenger side door before taking in a deep breath.

"Gotta love the smell of the outside of a wrestling arena." The man takes in a deep breath before letting out a cough as the smell of exhaust floats into his nose. Ok maybe it's not THAT great.." He chuckles to himself, hands combing over a leather jacket donning his shoulders. He adjusts the collar down and makes sure to run the wrinkles out of his nice green button up shirt. Moments later, his pocket ruffles with the sound of paper as he drags out a folded piece. Unfurling the paper, the man's eyes squint and he brings the paper closer to his face. "Now Hiring Professional Wrestlers. Alright EVPW, get ready for Kade Samuels to make his first ever debut in a professional wrestling ring."

His feet shift and he starts moving towards the main entrance to the arena. With a quick turn of his heel, Kade spins to go back to his car, cursing under his breath for a bit. A rough and ready hand reaches out for the handle to the door before pulling back and balling up in a fist. The Rookie brings the balled up fist hard against the side of his head. "Cmon you idiot! This is your dream! It's the big time.. They are actually on TV!" He pats the side of his head again with that closed fist before turning to face the arena once more.

After a few more moments of back and forth to the Arena, Kade runs a hand over his close cropped hair before finally making his decision and heading into the Arena. He glances at the Ad on the door window "Wrestlers Needed. Auditions inside." A hand pats the window, trying to psyche himself up once more before entering through the doors. Minutes later the doors burst open and the leather jacket clad Kade is seen sprinting out of the Arena, scared for his life. "What am I doing? I'm not ready for this! All I used to do is backyard wrestling!" He quickly tugs the passenger door open to his Mustang and clambers in, slamming his knee into the door frame in the process.

"God! Fucking damnit! That shit hurt!" Kade lays across the seats, the shifter in the middle of his back as he favors the knee he just slammed into the door. This gives the Rookie wrestler time to think as he looks up at the tore up fabric on the roof of his car. The shifter digs uncomfortably into his back and he sits up slowly, looking on at the arena, trying to decide what to do. This could be the next and most necessary step in his career. Or he could wimp out and go back to working Construction with his dad.

[Ethan Hawke]

A black GTO is parked next to him and a familiar face to many of the current EVPW roster can not help over hearing what is going on in the next car. He kicks open his door and steps out of the car, dressed to the nines in a black suit with a red and black vest, black slacks, and dress shoes. He looks at the young man with a smirk. He brushes some hair and dust fibers off his shoulder and shakes his head.

"Well... Well... Welll... A 'yarder just great that's all we need is another of your kind stinking up the place..."

The sharp dress young man toys with his two toned hair a little and rolls his dark brown eyes.

"Really? Really? And a 'yarder that can't handle a little bit of pain on top of that... Why don't I save you the trouble and just tell you to take your baby basketball and your board shorts and go back to whatever shit hole you came out of?"

Startled by the sudden lack of being alone, Kade jumps in the passenger seat and slams his head into the roof. "Fuck!" A hand reaches up, rubbing at the spot he hit for a moment before looking over his shoulder at the black GTO he didnt notice before. Too caught up in his own situation to really care if someone else saw him. "What? Who the hell?"

Kade slowly pulls himself out of his car, rubbing at his knee a moment before looking over the roof at the odd looking red and black clad man on the other side of his car. "A yarder? Oh! You mean a backyard wrestler.. Look here... Guy.. I was only a 'yarder' because I had nothing else." Kade glares at the man on the other side of his car as his arms rest on the roof.

"Who are you anyways? You just look like some... some.. guy.. wearing.. a suit.. with.. a red streak in your hair.." Stumbling with his words, never one to be great at throwing insults, Kade continues to hold his glare, not really feeling very menacing by trying his best.

[Ethan Hawke]

"Well... Kid... If you knew anything about this business you'd know to watch EVERYWHERE... I am a former star of GHW and EVPW... I am THE MAN in Japan... Which is where I have been exclusively for the last year and a half."

Ethan smirks as he remembers the "yarder's" other question.

"Hawke... Ethan Hawke... I would say nice to meet you, but your first impression is that of a clumsy punk ass bitch..."

Ethan fiddles with his hair some more, spiking the front up a little bit.

"You are just jealous because you don't look as good as me... And it's obvious you're not as smart either..."

"Y.. You mean... You're a professional wrestler?" Kade pauses a moment, unsure how to handle the situation. He's seen guys like this on TV so many times in the past and done what he could to get himself to their same level, even trained with some of the best when they were doing charity work.

"I dont think I know you.. But gods! It's great to mea-" Kade stops in his tracks as his brain finally catches up with his mouth. Insults! He's throwing insults! Kade knows there's nothing he can really do to make up what he was just about to say so he pushes off from his car and does his best puffer fish imitation, without puffing out his cheeks.

The five foot eleven two-hundred pound backyard wrestler grumbles to himself, his chest pushed out, trying to look as big as he can. "Listen here.. Mr Ethan Hawke.. I uh.." Kade tenses up and continues trying to look menacing, but failing miserably. "I could take you on.. In a match.. Any day.." In his mind, Kade is telling the truth, he could fight him in a match, but that doesnt mean he'll be winning said match. But that's all depending on if he even gets up the courage to join EVPW.

"All I'd have to do is join EVPW then challenge you to a match.. Unless you're willing to meet me in a yard and wrestle like... a.. uh.. real man!" The rookie, obviously uneasy with the situation, falters in his puffiness for a moment before righting himself and looking Ethan dead in the eye.

[Ethan Hawke]

Hawke shakes his head and rolls his eyes.

"Are you really wanting me to knock your dick into the dirt Boy? You don't know what I am capable of... I'm here to save EVPW from the untrained... Uneducated jackasses like YOU..."

Hawke takes a step forward.

"If you REALLY think you got what it takes... Sign your death warrant... I already put a pen to paper... What are YOU waiting for?"

That was a good question Kade had to answer, what is he waiting for? Kade stopped a moment, thinking about the words shoved into his mind. He couldn't help but glance over his shoulder and look at the doors he had just run through, trying to escape his future. "I really couldnt tell you what I'm waiting for right now Mr Hawke.. But I think I was waiting for the right reason to join.." Kade slowly looks back at the man with the red streak of hair, determination in his eyes.

"I think.. I was waiting to see someone like you.." The rookie paused a moment, glaring into the soul of the man before him. Just as he was about to respond, Kade cut him off, hopefully answering his question. "I was waiting to find an evil fuck to bring down from his throne and force him to tap out. You want to rid EVPW of people like me? I think what EVPW needs rid of.. Is people... Like.. YOU!" Kade growls and steps up into the face of Ethan, not backing down even a little and ready for a fight. Ready to defend the fans of this great business and ready to defend every other up and coming wrestler out there.

The Rookie may not be the best wrestler, and he may be a no name, but when his ideals are challenged and he is challenged, he will NOT back down from any fight. "I'll go sign a contract right now. KingBear and Vlad know who I am, I'm sure they'd sign me.. And after I put that pen to paper.. I challenge you to a match at the first show!"

[Ethan Hawke]

"You're on Boy... I'm sure if I can beat the legendary Chris Pyro... I can mop the floor with you any day..."

He takes a deep breath, fighting the urge just to jump him. 'Not worth the time,' he thinks to himself.

"YOU grow enough of a sack and enough balls to sign the contract... I WILL be more than happy to bury your bitch ass."

He smirks, noting the gusto that this up-and-comer is show.

"Why don't we end this conversation on a good term?"

He offers his hand to the rookie.

"All right then.. You're on.. And good luck with your goals.. I wont be easy to bury." Kade looks down at the outstretched hand, not quite trusting this Ethan Hawke character. His mind races with what could happen then he decides upon being the better man in this situation.

"End on a good note. Sounds great to me.." Kade smiles, loosening up a bit as he reaches out and takes the hand of this hot headed pro.

[Ethan Hawke]

Ethan light shakes his head and he nods with a smirk.

"Oh and let me give you your first lesson as a pro..."

Without another word of warning Hawke buries his foot into the groin of Kade with enough force to drop a charging rhino. He takes a big step back as his future foe falls to the ground.

"NEVER trust anyone and always look out for number one."

With those parting words Ethan gets back into his car and drives off.

The sudden impact to his groin drops The Rookie to the ground. No words uttered except the obvious coughing and groaning from the pain he was feeling. In backyard wrestling, Kade had enough experience taking hits but they've always outlawed low blows. Even the 'heel' characters in their backyard wrestling group dont do low blows simply because they know how much it would hurt.

After a few moments of rolling on the ground next to his car, Kade slowly pushes himself to his feet without saying a word. He lets out a cough and limps his way into the arena. He pushes through the small backstage area before finding KingBear's office. Still silence on his lips, Kade pushes into the office of the big man and sits down, hand cupping his testicles.

Having trained this man before, KB looks him up and down real quick before sliding a contract across his desk to the soon to be up and coming star. The pen moves across the paper quickly as Kade signs his name to the contract after filling it out thoroughly. Just as silently as he entered, Kade stands up and turns to leave. KingBear smiles and pulls the contract in, looking it over quickly before looking up as Kade Samuels, The Rookie, speaks for the first time since entering the arena. "I want a match with Ethan Hawke on Tuesday night." KingBear gives him a nod of approval before Kade leaves his office and heads off, destiny in his eyes.
