As we look back on the past, we see a fed that went through management changes like people go through underwear. EVPW went from it's small beginnings, 2 gyms only and just the Butcher Tron to claim their own. Solid Core Gym was bought outright by KingBear and Vladimir and Lockdown Gymnasium was bought by Rhaps and donated to EVPW in our time of need. Crazyboy also donated a building for locker rooms directly across the street from Solid Core Gym. The only offices in the gym were occupied by KingBear and Vladimir Strife.
EVPW went from this to roaming the globe, doing shows all over the world. It was owned by a Corporation for a while and run into the ground. Then a silent faction came along and tried bringing EVPW back to it's roots but this didnt work out for them either. It seems that only a select group of people have the gift enough to be able to run EVPW properly and successfully, but due to unforeseen circumstances, those people are back.
EVPW once again has few buildings but for now we have a strong cult fan following and hopefully amazing wrestlers once again. The commentary team is back with everyones favorite announcer.
And now on to how things are going and what we have. KingBear and Vladimir held onto the naming rights of EVPW and continued to collect proceeds from everything done without the knowledge of it's former management teams. They paid off Nathaniel Banks and used their combined fortunes to bring EVPW back, they continued to pay the property taxes on the gyms. All other utilities were shut off when the company closed down recently and KingBear and Vladimir came back to a dark and empty gym.
With a blank Canvas in Solid Core Gym and Lockdown Gymnasium, KingBear and Vlad were happy to get to work. KingBear put up his house for a loan from the bank and they bought the property next to the gym. Now, instead of only seating a maximum of 1000 people, the gym can handle 2000 easily with a max capacity of 3000 occupants. They brought the Butcher Tron back (kindly donated by the Legendary Gnarfflinger the Butcher), upgraded their TVs around the ring to 32" flat screens for the audience members to watch back stage action. The building across the street was sold for retail space and the locker room equipment was moved to the Gym.
Solid Core Gymnasium now has a maximum occupancy of 3000, in-house locker rooms, Butcher-Tron, flat screen TVs around the arena, in-house PA system on cheap audio equipment and various smaller items. EVPW was once again picked up on a small local access cable station, and we're working on getting a bigger contract. But we need bigger names and more action to even hope for a bigger contract.
