The Following takes place the night before Global Domination.A static image comes into focus as a digital hand held camera rests on the bars of a tiny gaol cell. Being almost pitch black, the only discernible image is that of a Irish man who sits somewhat miserably on an insufferable, run down let alone forsaken bed that can only be described as a mite infested cot. Dressed not in his habitual apparel, but that of period prison attire. With a stale loaf of bread in hand, Liam begins to speak, head bowed talking softly and full of sorrow. How ironic. This is where my road to gold begins, where my ancestors road ended as nothing more than apparent common criminals. Their crime ... stealing a loaf of bread to feed their families in the time of the Irish famine. Torn away from their relatives, friends ... most substantially. Their home.Breaking off a piece of the stale bread, Liam throws it to a rat off camera who had scurried in and sat watching the figure, not afraid, but curious. Taking in deep breaths while almost lost in thought, O'Donnell rubs his chin with his freehand before beginning to talk. Let's first discuss my opponents. That is right, opponents. The general manager in his wisdom to decide the best person for a chance of the title will be fought in a tag match. Some kind of points system, but now I am digressing. First off we have faceless, a gentleman some people call him Billy, though I doubt that is his real name. Guess he has done something unforgivable in his past, at least in his eyes. Then his partner, A Canadian Samurai. Sounds as much a contradiction as a Japanese Cowboy. Both are talented wrestlers in their own right, question is can they co-operate and work together. Standing up, Liam looks around the room whiles deep in thought. There is a constant dripping sound from a leaking pipe, distracting from the loneliness of what must of been hell for those unlucky enough to find themselves in these living conditions. No modern luxury's, or conveniences of modern technology. Nothing but the voices in your head, and time for your mind to play tricks on you and twist your concept of reality. Woken from the dreary daze by a whip, or a random beating from a guard if you so much as step out of line. Shaking the thoughts and images from his brain, the man from Belfast stares at the cold brick walls. Against these two wrestlers, I have been teamed up with A.J. Scally, a self confessed anti-American hero. That in itself brings a slight smile to my face, other than that, I can honestly say I know nothing of him. This is his home town, and just about everyone will be behind him, cheering and going crazy to support him. Now leaning on the cold steel, Liam looks around outside at the dark foreboding hallways, imagining in his mind the sound of such a place, over crowded, any sort of person from a common thief, to a hardened murderer, even mentally ill people all mingling and intertwining into an unforgiving society of misfits. My strategy for Global Domination will be as simple as the punishment for stealing food to survive. Faceless only won last time due to the referee counting quicker than she should of ... tisk tisk, I will not forget that Batilda. As for the Resurrected Warrior. I have already made him tap out and go home crying. Unlike lightning, I always strike the same place more than twice.End Promo. Word count - 601. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Entrance. The guitar intro of Rising by Stuck Mojo crackles to life as the lights flicker before Rod Laver stadium goes completely void of light accept for the flash of Eagle Visions fans cameras. Stepping through the curtain to the main stage, Liam is enveloped in an indigo night shade of blue which reflects off the material of his clothes. Wearing his usual blue jeans and white t-shirt with the logo Irish Bastard above a Celtic cross. The Irishman puts his hands on his hips while looking around taking in the atmosphere of the Melbourne arena. Shaking his arms as the camera changes focus to the monster-tron, which in time with the music shows the highs and lows of his career. Changing to a wide view, the camera zooms out showing an almost over head view of the entrance stage and the ramp. Lizzie: Introducing the first opponent in tonights knock out tag team. Hailing From Belfast, Ireland .. the Irish Bastard himself, Liam O'Donnell.Jimmy: Let me tell you Ray, I was lucky enough to be backstage with this madman and he is ready for this one, how ever it may progress.Ray: You were backstage and survived to tell the tale ?Jimmy: His manager has some type of control over him. Go figure, nearly twice the size of the former television champion, but obeys his word as if it is gospel. Cracking his neck left to right while jogging on the spot, Liam punches at the air in front of him while confidently walking towards the ring. On the way a mixed reaction from the audience is barely audible over the Irish Bastards theme music. Stopping randomly to spill someones drink over there head, or tear up a banner from a fan unfortunately to close to the security barrier. After berating and taunting random audience members, O'Donnell continues on his way to destiny. Jogging around the ring, Liam continues to threaten fans, some of the younger ones have tears building up in their eyes. Much to the demise of the personal trying to keep things in order, he jumps onto the barrier raising his arms in a defiant gesture, before crossing the barrier in search of pop corn. Ray: How do you think this is going to progress ? Four superstars, each with their own ego, and none have worked together as tag team.Jimmy: If there is one thing I have learned from my years as commentary, four people, all with a chance at the title. Expect anything. Even if they somehow mesh as a tag team, they will still soon have to face someone to cement their chance at a title. It could be their tag partner, or even the person they are facing. How ever it ends, they will want to send a message not only to their future opponent, but also to the superstars backstage. Trying to regain order and control, the hired security staff attempt to contain the hatred of the Irish Bastard and find him taking pop corn from some twit daring enough to challenge him, if it wasn't for their Irish accent who knows how things could of progressed. If not for the size of the security, Liam would of thrown them, but resists with a taunting backhand gesture while throwing the remaining pop corn at who ever is close by. With a firm hand on the heavy-weights shoulder the staff escort the wrestler back to the ring where he is suppose to be. Stepping back, Liam jumps on the apron with ease before stepping over the top rope. Strutting confidently to each corner O'Donnell stands on the buckle for the second rope while shaping himself to look like a Celtic cross. On the last turn buckle, Tyson looks to the stage while taking a seat on the top turn buckle. As the music ends, the indigo night colored lights fading and changing back to the familiar white hue following a huge uprising chorus of boos from the Eagle Vision fanatics. The scene opens up backstage inside the Rod Laver Arena, located in the beautiful city of Melbourne. It is the day of the second episode of EVPW's "Global Domination", where the fans outside EVPW's regular area in US have a chance to see their favorite wrestlers live. And for the first time, the show is held outside USA borders in the sunny and wild Australia. The excitement has filled up the air among both the Aussie fans and the EVPW stars themselves, giving a bunch of them a chance to see foreign country and meet their international fans. One of those people is none other then EVPW's own masked weirdo, Faceless. And it just so happens to be that the Nameless one is hanging out backstage, so the cameraman quickly focuses on the mystery man. Even though he's facing away from the camera, the white hoodie with a picture of a theater mask, sort of a symbol of his, he's wearing is pretty good giveaway. As the cameraman makes the decision to approach "Billy", it is revealed that the masked one isn't alone and in fact is having a chat with someone.
I'm really glad you decided to come here with me. I haven't really managed to befriend any of my co-workers so far. I think the mask resents them... It's nice to have someone I can talk to and hang out with.
The identity of "Billy's" conversation partner is unknown at first, due to Faceless body blocking the view. Realizing this the cameraman does his job well and makes a few steps to the side. Quite surprisingly it turns out to be the mysterious woman named Katie, who Faceless encountered weeks ago.
No problem. You know I always loved to travel and seeing the world. Not to mention, I really missed spending time with you.
Me too... The little chat of the two is soon interrupted, however, by the lovely voice of EVPW, Lizzie Morna. Looking gorgeous as ever, Lizzie steps into the picture holding a microphone in her hands, looking for an interview. Which explains why the cameraman decided to film Faceless in the first place. Morna gently taps the Nameless one on the shoulder to get his attention and "Billy" reacts by doing a quick spin to face her. Oh, hey Lizzie, how are you today?Miss Morna looks a little uncomfortable, slightly feeling bad about barging into a conversation like that. But with the show time approaching, she's on the clock and has to do the job she is paid for. I'm fine. Sorry about the interruption, but I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions before your match tonight?Faceless seems to be unsure as he glances over to his friend, looking for a response. Katie, however, just smiles and gently rubs her hand across "Billy's" arm. Go ahead. I'll just go and grab us some coffee. Nice to see you again Lizzie. The young lady swiftly disappears out of the view, leaving Faceless alone with one again confused Morna. Have me and her met before?... You know, never mind, don't even try to explain, cause every time you do, it just gets more confusing and awkward. The Nameless one lets out a chuckle in response to Lizzie reaction, which seems to annoy the interviewer a bit, but she lets it slide and continues. Anyway, first of all, tonight marks the beginning of the Knockout Championship Tournament. This tournament will be point based and feature a series of matches between six contenders, among which you are one. What are your thoughts regarding this tournament.
I think it's exciting. It's different and gives a pretty good guarantee that the winner will in fact be the best man. It also makes sure that the fans will be able to witness a bunch of great, hard hitting and intense matches as everyone involved is hungry for that shot at the title. Myself included. It's been a long time since I last had gold around my waist, so I'm pumped for the opportunity.
Glad to hear that. Moving on, tonight you will be teaming with Chris Pyro to face the team of AJ Scally and Liam O'Donnell. Both of whom you have beaten in one-on-one matches in the last three weeks. Does that give you a confidence boost and does it mean your team will have the advantage going into the match?
Well... not quite. Yes, I have beaten both Liam and AJ, but this time the situation is completely different. For one, it's a tag team match. That means not only will I have to keep track of two guys at all time, but I will also have to trust and rely on my own partner. And more importantly, he will have to trust me. What's more, we will be wrestling in the great lands of Australia. And it just so happens to be that Mr.Scally is a one proud Australian. Call me crazy, but I think he and his team will be the ones having the support of the crowd. That does matter, despite what most of the people in this business might tell you. The fans can make a huge difference.
So does that mean you're worried?
Whoa, let's not make extreme conclusions there Lizzie. My situation isn't ideal, but worrying isn't my style. My style is adapting. Just look at me, Lizzie. I never was the biggest, the toughest, the most technically sound, the most hardcore or even the best high-flier. And when I entered this business, most everyone mocked me. They mocked my physique, my attitude, the fact that I was quite the loud-mouth. They didn't take me seriously. Even when I won gold, some still called me a clown. And maybe I was quite the jokester, but when it was time came to fight, I backed it up and I won. I won those matches for two reasons. Number one - never underestimate your opponent. It never mattered who I faced, I took every match seriously. Cause if you don't, you might get unpleasantly surprised. And number two - know thy enemy. Know your opponents weaknesses and how to use your own strengths against them. In other words, adapt. And I'm quite damn good at that, if I could brag for second. Thus, while the situation favors AJ and Liam, I think I'll find a way to survive.
Well, thank you for your thoughts and good luck in your match tonight.
Pleasure is all mine, Lizzie.Faceless gives a small nod as Morna smiles, before they both turn to the opposite sides and seconds later leave the scene, heading their own separate ways. Not long after that, the view begins to dim, eventually turning pitch black. Chris Pyro is seen walking backstage, heading towards the entry way. He is wearing his black wrestling gear, and instead of the white and red headband he normally has, it's his black "Death" one. He is marching towards the entrance with purpose when Lizzie Morna catches up.
Lizzie: Pyro! Pyro! Can I get a few words with you before your match?
Pyro stops, clearly annoyed that he is being stopped.
Pyro: What do you want, Lizzie?
Lizzie: Tonight you are teaming up with Faceless to fight Liam O'Donnell and AJ Scally in the Knockout Title Tournament. What are your thoughts?
Pyro: I do not know much about Faceless, but like me, he has a past he is not proud of. We at least have that point in common. We may be in AJ's hometown, but I will beat his head in. Liam O'Donnell got the best of me last week because of Akatsuki. This week will be different. He will be back on his losing streak, and I will be saying a prayer for him that he can find peace after I play him his Final Dirge.
Pyro begins to walk away again as Lizzie stops him.
Lizzie: You brought up the Akatsuki. Rumour has it that they got Daisuke and that the person leading them is close to you. What's going on?
Pyro stops, anger clearly boiling over as he turns.
Pyro: The Akatsuki, Daisuke and anyone associated with me, friend or foe are none of your concern. They are going to pay a heavy price when I get my hands on them. AJ Scally, Liam and even Faceless have something to be scared about tonight. Scally's home fans are going to be disappointed when their hero is lying at my feet. Liam will learn what it's like when I have my focus set on him. Faceless had better just stay out of my way. When tonight is all done, the pain and suffering my opponents will be dealing with can be attributed to the Akatsuki's actions. Tonight, it is not the honourable "Canadian Samurai" stepping in the ring. It's the deadly, violent "Rogue Ninja" that will be stepping into the ring, for one night. Welcome... To my Nightmare.
The look in Pyro's eyes change to a cold, haunting gaze that sends shivers down Lizzie's spine as the Rogue Ninja walks away.

The Arena lights go out as the Australian fans sit quietly. Guitars, drums and a scream come over the PA System as Hageshisa To, Kono Mune No Naka De Karamitsuita Shakunetsu No Yami by Dir en Grey begins to play, heralding the entrance of Chris Pyro.
Pyro walks onto the entry way as the lights come up. He has his old black cloak with red clouds emblazoned on it. He walks to the ring with a die hard focus.
Lizzie: The following tag team match is part of the Knockout Title Tournament. Coming to the ring first, weighing in a two hundred and thiry pounds. From Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The "Rogue Ninja" Chris Pyro!!!
JP: This is a side of Chris Pyro we haven't seen in a long time. Liam O'Donnell, AJ Scally and even Faceless have a lot to be worried about. The Akatsuki have really gotten to him.
RW: Do you blame them? Just look at that dark, brooding man. Anyone would want a piece of him.
JP: That's not what I meant, and you know that! The Akatsuki clearly have someone masterful guiding them, being able to send Pyro onto such a downward spiral that he'd even consider calling himself "The Rogue Ninja" again is scary. We both witnessed what he did, and to hear that name scares me about what they have done.
Pyro reaches the ring and walks up the steps. He climbs through the ropes and waits at the far side of the ring for his partner and opponents.

The scene opens up to show a man with his back to the camera, the fans rise in anticipation wondering who it is. They don’t have to wait too much longer as the man begins to speak.
AJ: I’M HOME!!!
After the completion of the loud and proud statement the fans all go crazy in cheers as the man turns around to show himself as none other than AJ Scally. The Anti-American Hero has a smile on his face as he gets a reaction vastly different than the one he receives back in America.
AJ: Man does it feel great to be out the hell-hole they call ‘America’.
Loud cheers and laughter erupts from the Aussies who are hanging on his every word.
AJ: Funny thing is I thought the best thing about Global Domination was that we leave America for a while. But the best thing about it now is that I am right here in Melbourne.
A reaction louder than the one before erupts from the Melbournians, as they appreciate AJ’s words, unlike those back in America.
AJ: I am just happy that fans all over the world outside of America will eventually be able witness and appreciate my talents unlike those back in the States. Great fans like you here.
More loud cheers erupt from the Aussies who are appreciating his verbal talents at the moment.
AJ: Now I suppose I should talk about my match tonight. As many of you probably know I have been entered in the Knockout Tournament.
The fans applaud as they like that their ‘boy’ has been entered into a prestigious tournament.
AJ: This will go on for a few weeks, with points up for grabs for the winners of each the matches, on completion of the completion the winner is the one with the most points. When I say winner I mean AJ Scally.
A nice warm reception and some slight laughs are heard from the Victorians as the Novocastrian smiles.
AJ: Tonight I am in a tag match where 5 points are up for grabs. The bad thing is, I have to share the spotlight with someone else, the good thing however, is that he isn’t American.
The Aussies not liking Americans so much let out a nice cheer at the Anti-American Hero.
AJ: One of my opponents is Chris Pyro, a man who last week was beaten by my partner Liam. Look I haven’t faced him in quite a long time but I am confident I can beat him. Another reason is he lost to Adam Moore the week after I annihilated him showing how weak he has been.
AJ takes a pause and shakes his head before talking about his next opponent.
AJ: Pyro’s partner is none other than the coward Faceless. Yes he did beat me last week and I have to admit it was because as he said earlier I underestimated him, a mistake I will not make again. ‘Know thy enemy’, you say? Well I know what it takes to not only beat you but Pyro as well and get the valuable 5 points.
Another loud cheer erupts as the fans believe in AJ unlike the Americans he is so often in front of.
AJ: Hey my partner is an Irish bastard so it should be good right?
Some of the Melbournians laugh while others cheer.
AJ: In short, Pyro, Faceless you are going down like the Indians did over the summer.
With that AJ heads off screen as the scene cuts away to show a standing audience who are all cheering their fellow citizen.

All three man wait in the ring patiently as the fans in attendance all rise to their feet as they know who is coming out next. The all jump up and give one of the loudest receptions in recent memory as Epic by Faith No More hits the speakers inside Rod Laver Arena.
Lizzie: And finally from Australia, the Anti-American Hero, AJ Scally.
You can hardly hear the end of Lizzie’s statement. As soon as the word ‘Australia’ left her lips the fans cheered even harder. They quite down slightly before exploding yet again as the Anti-American walks on stage wearing long green and gold tights as well as an Australian cricket shirt.
Pate: Holy Cow! What an amazing reception AJ is receiving very different than America.
White: Did you expect any different? I mean we are in AJ’s home country and all has really done is talk down America, and Australia is far away from America.
Pate: I expected him to get cheered, but this loud?
AJ stands atop the stage before looking left and right. He then nods to the fans before taking a deep breath before beginning his charge towards the ring. The Aussie walks slowly, trying to soak in the reaction as much as possible.
Pate: He certainly is taking his time, soaking it all in but I don’t blame him.
White: Either do I, he won’t receive a reaction like this for a while.
AJ has made his way inside the squared circle before removing his t-shirt and throwing to the crowd. Both teams go to their respective corners to try and decide who will start things off. Faceless decides he will do the honours for his team as Pyro leaves the ring and stands on the apron. By this stage Epic has died down as Liam tries to tell AJ he will start off. Upon seeing this, the fans boo and begin to chant “We want Scally!!” Scally looks to the fans and nods before grabbing the Irishman and pushing him back towards to apron to which Liam begrudgingly complies. The two combatants starting it off come together in the centre of the ring before a “Scally!” chant breaks out.
