The PPV was in full motion. With spectacular matches having braced the arena, the fans were ecstatic. What they weren't expecting was the return of the men responsible for almost ruining the wrestling federation they loved. The company theme hits the arena. Silence follows as the crowd a little confused, having not heard the theme before, but once the titantron embraced the 'Company' logo a chorus of boo's ensued.
The four company members appeared at the entrance, standing in a row, side by side. They kept their heads up, hands behind their backs as they took in the atmosphere. This was their prize, their possession. They owned this business and they were definitely going to have some fun with it whilst it was in their hands. Adrian Donald took the first step forward after the brief stance, followed by Andrew Anderson, Casey Jackson and finally, William Jenkinson. His was the order of the hierarchy amongst the four company members and order was to be made public for they were all about the status and power they held.
"That's the Company. The Company members are back in EVPW. What the hell are they doing here? Don't they know everybody hates them."
"They still run EVPW and I think they have something important to say, which is why they are out here. Now I personally don't know what they're up to but it should be interesting, whatever it is. They haven't come out here without reason."
One by one they walked down the ramp, all dressed in fancy suits, holding expensive watches at their wrists and pride in their eyes. One at a time, they entered the ring with ‘Don’ taking the lead stance, whilst the other three stood in line at one end of the ring, giving him space and limelight.
Adrian stood and waited patiently, although one could sense the annoyance creeping upon him of the constant ‘Company Sucks’ chants that were circulating around the arena. Out of the four, they seemed to be affecting Casey the most as he stared at his feet, gritting his teeth and clenching his fists in anger.
“Are we going to continue to behave like idiots or are you going to let the big men talk?”
Adrian was quite assertive when it came to addressing the audience and the power in his voice was enough to quieten down the parts of the crowd although some groups found him disrespectful and increased their own voices.
“If you want, we can wait all night whilst I stand here and demand some respect when I’m out here. Do you want to watch the rest of this Pay-Per-View or would you rather go home without watching Aiden take on Noble? I’m looking forward to it and I’m sure you are too so let’s get down to business.”
The company frontman paused as the crowd began to simmer down, realising there was real risk in his threat.
“Now that’s much better. Wasn’t so hard now was it? Now as you know, I don’t often come out here. I don’t think we’ve ever come out here, the four of us. For those of you who don’t know who we are. We are ‘The Company’. We finance EVPW, we sort out the legal matters and we run this federation from its foundations through every aspect of its progress. Basically, we are the heart, mind and soul of EVPW.
Some people may disagree. Some may believe the heart of EVPW are the wrestlers who compete week in week out to entertain the crowd. Some believe the mind of EVPW is the matches that last through the memories of those who witness them. Some claim the soul of EVPW is the fans itself. Truth of the matter is, without the company, there is no EVPW. We can bring in new wrestlers. There’s no shortage. We can create new matches and fill up crowds. But if we weren’t here, there would be no EVPW. I suggest you remember that next time we make our way out here.
Give respect where it is due. That is all I ask. We are working hard to make this place presentable to the world. Things didn’t work out to well the last time round. We understand the rules we had in place were a little difficult to follow but we fixed the mistakes we made. Unlike Nathaniel Banks and Devin Bozz that left this place a mess, we solve our problems. We didn’t leave EVPW dead. You owe us that much.”
Donald pauses a moment to get the emotion of his chest and clear his mind. He paces across the ring before stopping in the centre, turning to face the crowd once again to address them.
“Before you get the wrong idea, I didn’t come out to boast about what we’ve done or tell you people off for your behaviour. There is a reason why we are all out here. Now Prelude to madness is going well and all and we hope the success continues on to Abbadon’s Pit. Despite rumours the company was going to censor your favourite hell-hole of a match, we are not going to change anything with the Abbadon’s Pit match. It will go on as scheduled and will retain all of its gore and glory.
Now our announcement goes out to the whole EVPW but it focuses upon the men backstage who compete for you guys every week. I’m talking about the superstars who are contracted to EVPW. There was an incident tonight involving the Meadow twins, Brandy and Troy. Now we don’t want to go into explicit detail of what has occurred but it has bought shame upon EVPW and we want to get rid of that stain. Brandy and Troy have had their contracts terminated immediately and have been escorted off the premises. However, things don’t end here.
We are looking for a group of individuals who are willing to spend their time and dedication into making sure EVPW remains a safe place where cult activities and dangerous people are kept under control. Basically, we need eyes, ears and muscle who will seek out any trouble within EVPW’s foundation and either report it to us or eradicate the problem. We have the financial power to hire some people to do our work for us but we believe that it would be better if it were people from EVPW’s own locker room; leaders for the superstars who will take responsibility for the whole of the EVPW roster. Do we have anybody brave enough to step forward and take on this challenging task? There are financial rewards to go along with this job as well as becoming employees of the Company itself which brings huge rewards and bonuses. If that’s not enough of an incentive, I will tell the GM’s to personally look after you.”
Donald puts the mic down and awaits for a response from the EVPW superstars.

While the Company looks out at the audience, a smile on their faces with their bribe to the EVPW locker room, a slow guitar sound comes over the PA. The old music makes fans rise to their feet, recognizing it as the theme of the one and only Samurai of EVPW.
Pyro emerges on the stage, wearing a black kimono and hakama. His head is adorned with his Japanese Flag inspired hachimaki, with the character for Samurai written in the centre of the red dot. He also has on his necklace with the same Samurai character in an image of the Cherry Blossom. His ever present katana, Kazoku, is at his waist. A vile smerk crosses Pyro's face as he sees the men he feels is a poison.
JP: This could be very interesting. Chris Pyro has come back here with a purpose, and has made it no secret he hates the Company. This has the potential to get violent.
Pyro reaches the ring and walks up the steps. His reputation proceeds him as The Company take a few steps back, creating distance for the Samurai of EVPW. Pyro climbs through the ropes, and requests a mic. Once he gets it, his gaze locks on the mouthpiece.
Pyro: It is about time you cowards showed your faces around here. While I applaud you for getting rid of the vermin in the Meadows, one problem still remains. That is you guys. You come here with your silver tongues, promising incentives, promising a bright future for EVPW. But the last time you guys had a presence here, EVPW fell to shambles. When I got the message of EVPW returning, I had hope. When I got here, and I saw you snakes slithering around here I vowed to exterminate you. That vow has not waned, and I have every intentions of running you out of EVPW.
The fans begin to roar as Pyro continues to run down and threaten the men who give him his paycheck.
Pyro: EVPW may have been nothing three years ago but some run of the mill indy company with no bright future and the canvas stained with copious amounts of blood. But for two years we survived. The only reason this place crumbled was not because of Devin Bozz or Nathaniel Banks abandoning us. Two different view points arose and caused such a divide between the roster it was not safe and no one wanted to work with the other side. We do not need you, we do not want you. EVPW will pull through without you here. Despite what you may think, you guys are not the only ones here capable of keeping this place afloat financially. You are FAR from the heart and soul of this place. If it was not for your occasional visits, I am sure you guys do not give us a second thought. We are the soul of EVPW, the guys who show up week in and week out. The fans... The fans are the heart of what we do. You guys are just a parasite.
The Canadian Samurai takes a step back, watching the reactions of The Company.

The company members stood and watched. Some in fear like Billy Jenkinson who had previously had run-ins with Chris Pyro and his most dreaded katana. Casey Jackson on the other hand was fuming but remained composed enough not to speak out. After all, 'The Don' was present to handle such problems. Anderson on the other hand seemed very calm, even calmed than Donald who had seemed to take Pyro's words quite well.
"Christopher, do you really believe WE are responsible for the wrong that takes place in EVPW? I mean, all we really do is to try and keep order and make sure all of the staff that work here, including you, get enough money in their pockets when they get home so they don't have anything to complain about. Tell me Christopher, have you ever missed a pay-check? What does that show you? We are doing are job well."
Adrian pauses a moment as a smile suddenly appears on his face.
"Now when the ratings for EVPW fluctuate due to boring matches, that... that isn't our fault. That's where our limits come in. When superstars begin to behave badly backstage? That we need to do something about. Now instead of coming out to bore the fans with your unrealistic, dishonest and illogical ideologies. Why don't you do go improve your in-ring ability so you can put on a worthy show.
Personally, I'd rather watch someone more exciting in the ring than you Christopher and I'm sure there's plenty of people that agree with me. You can't make a difference here unless you've come out to take me up on my offer, which I highly doubt, how about you go back to the gym and train a little more."
Adrian looked on from Pyro and back at the entrance ramp, hoping for a serious contender to come out to accept their offer.
TBCB anybody.

Matt Violence's new theme "Mother" by Danzig rings throughout the arena unexpectedly. A smile creeps across the Canadian Ninja's mug as he is proud to see his new tag team partner has decided to come out and support him. The fans explode with wild cheers, all anxious as to how Mr. FuckHisDayUp is going to react to the situation at hand. In no time, the man of the hour himself steps out. Nonetheless, Matt Violence is decked out in his casual ring gear; black from head to toe with a "Rhaps- #FuckHisDayUp" t-shirt. In one hand he holds a EVPW logo'd microphone and in the other his trusty razor blade steel chair hands from the leg he is gripping it from. Quickly, the music dies down and the fans follow in suit giving Matt the perfect opportunity to speak his mind from a safe distance.
Matt Violence: "I'm going to be very blunt right now. I don't fucking like you guys!"
The Make-Shift Wrestler's short speech is more than enough to stir up a ton of excitement within the arena. Loud cheers spill over the guardrail, Terror and anger can be seen in the eyes of each Company member, but more notably in the "Don's". He grits his teeth at the very sight of the Knockout Champion. Without saying anything more, Matt manifest his distaste for the Company by raising his handy dandy chair in front of him and rushing towards the ring. Like a deer frozen in traffic headlights Donald just stairs at the dangerous man coming his way, until he feels a hand gripping him from his collar and half drag him out of the ring just as Matt Violence slides in. Matt nearly rips the microphone Pyro was holding, but the Ninja doesn't take offense to it, knowing it's all just spur of the moment anger. Dropping the chair, Matt walks over to the ropes and points directly at the fleeing Company members.
Matt Violence: "THIS IS MY RING! AND AS LONG AS I AM STILL BREATHING I DON'T WANNA SEE YOUR SORRY ASSES IN IT! BECAUSE I PROMISE YOU! I WILL FUCK YOUR DAY UP!"
Matt spikes the microphone at Adrian, missing his shinny bald head by just a hair. Matt's music hits again and the scene fades to black.
