The following takes place four hours before the weekly wrestling show.
With no cameras around to record any of the following, the scene comes to life showing Crazy Boy putting Liam through an intense training regime. At the peak of his exertion, Liam begins to stagger, his eyes almost rolling back in his head, pausing for a moment to regather himself O'Donnell takes a deep breath before continuing. The two appear to be in a local park with well maintained grass, trimmed shrubs and a clean picnic area. As people come into view, they are either walking their beloved dog, skating or riding their bikes along a concrete pathway which borders a man made lake, now home to a variety of wild life. Following the intense aerobic work out, Liam stretches as he warms down from the grueling routine. Reaching into a backpack, Seth retrieves two bottles of water, as well as a bag of pop corn.
Cb - " Impressive, but I think you are still holding back. "
Liam - " What the ... holding back ? ... Dude I just about fainted from that damn routine. "
Cb - " Just about ? ... That was the whole bloody idea, to see if you would go that extra mile, but as soon as you got out of your comfort zone, you stopped."
Liam - " What the hell you sadistic .. "
Cb - " Hold ya rave man. You are in the running for a possible title shot. This is just exercise. If you ain't willing to go that extra here, to go out of your comfort zone and embrace the unknown, then how in blue blazers will you push yourself tonight. "
Liam - " It's just another weekly match dude ... geez take a chill pill. "
Cb - " That is my bloody point. There is a time to rest, and there bloody well is a time to send a message to the locker room. "[/i][/color]
Looking down at his feet, The Irish Bastard feeling a slight tang of guilt gulps down a mouthful of water while Tyson mauls a handful of sugar coated pop corn. Handing the pack to his slightly dejected comrade as some kind of peace offering, Liam looks at him and mumbles something incoherent that makes them both laugh before an intense sugary burst wakes up his taste buds.
Liam - " So dude ... who have you and the infamous bookers put me against tonight ? "
Grinning like a Cheshire cat while rubbing his hands, Seth begins to get skittish as the candy pop corn begins to take effect, blended with his excitement over the following match.
Cb - " You are going to love this ... tonight ! . You my friend are going to face ... Scally. Thats right ! . Your tag partner from the pay per view. Who cares about who was the legal partner, who made who tap first. The point is, they both taped out. So tonight ... when all the dust settles, when its all said and done. THE one THE only .. THE whiskey drinkin , pop corn mauling, Berlins callin Bastard will have his arm raised victorious. "
Tilting his head while feeling bemused, Liam looks at his manager who is virtually jumping around on the spot, screaming slapping his hands together, getting odd looks from bystanders trying to mind their own business walking for what ever reasons beside the lake. Raising a single hand to put the proverbial brakes on his friend before he over loads, O'Donnell rubs his chin before speaking.
Liam - " Hold it there dude ... ain't you getting ahead of yourself ? AJ isn't no green horn rookie, he is a well known veteran. I on the other hand are a relative rookie. Sure I may have some experience in the ring, but that is all scripted at the end of the day for the sake of entertainment, to get folks to attend our traveling show. The match with AJ is real. "
Cb - " It's all in your mind man. It's all about perceptions. You have the skill set, the training ... and by the time I am done ... you will have what it takes to go beyond the physical into the realm of your mind. All I can do is show you the path, beyond that, you have to take what steps you feel necessary. Once you learn to let go ... sky is the limit, there ain't no tellin what can be achieved when you let go. The feeling when a chair smashes down on your head for what seems like the hundredth time, that feeling when everything becomes a haze, just when you you can't take any more, it's only your body tellin you to stop. "
Tapping his index finger on his forehead while gulping down a mouthful of water before looking up at the trees and the sky. Gathering his focus while his mind seemingly races as he talks almost stumbling over his own words.
Cb - " The human brain is the most powerful thing in the universe, the body only obeys what the mind tells it to. Be it nerves, natural reaction, or self preservation. They are all in the beholders perception of reality and of their knowledge of what they have learned to accept as reality from birth. "
Slightly distracted, not showing the he was paying attention, Liam draws focus on a female jogger with a boxer running tongue out and loving every moment of life.
Liam- " Check the set on that foxy lady dude. I would love to alter her damn perception about now. "
Cb - " Righto ... Lets burn off all this bloody sugar, five laps around this lake then we will go to the gym at Solid Core to fine tune some of your moves before you face the Aussie Jew. "
