As stipulated, Lizzie shows up to what appears to be a reasonably well kept field on some ones farm. Cows and horses can be heard in the background going about their daily business. Dressed instead of the extravagant evening gown, and latest brand name shoes, Lizzie shows up in jeans, a comfortable sweater and doc marten style boots. Looking around taking in the atmosphere, she notices an old ford pick up approach which is towing something behind it. Both males exit the vehicle, the smallest one detaches a tow rope and goes through a check list. The larger male known as Liam gives Lizzie a nod of approval with her choice of casual clothes for the interview. With everything set in place, the SCW veteran interviewer is escorted to her place, safety straps secured in place, and Liam soon joins her, taking a seat beside her after handing over a fancy reporter style headset. Shortly thereafter, a high pitch whistling can be heard followed by a loud bang, then a low humming of an old radial air cooled engine, lucky they both have headsets on to hear one another.
Promo Start.
Glad you could make it Lizzie. Providing he remembered to fill the tank this time, we have about thirty minutes at least, so where do we start ?
How about, um, why are we up here having this interview ?
Easy ... but more on the why later. Next question please.
Ok. Well lets start off with background questions, like who you are, where you from, why wrestling, e.t.c ... e.t.c.
Well, you want a sob story, want to know if I had a bad up bringing ... whatever drama like that ? As a matter of fact the complete opposite. Grew up in Belfast, Ireland. Parents are involved in politics. Had a relatively normal childhood. All the usual trimmings, vacations, good school, a few good friends. Caring parents. Opportunity come up with a traveling circus, problem is I have never had ... what you would call agility or extreme balance, but in saying that, this was no ordinary circus. They traveled Europe with an old style wrestling called Catch wrestling. That is where I found my niche so to speak. During that time is where I met my friend and manager Tyson. Which brings me to where I am now.
Well so far it has not been the stellar beginning to your career choice has it, you haven't notched up a win next to your name, now you face Chris Pyro . A veteran who no doubt has you concerned.
Concerned ? Hardly. If you come into wrestling worried about win or loss next to your name, you might as well pack your bags and find something else. Sure there is satisfaction in that, but I enjoy just coming to the ring, facing some of these legends and working the audience. To me it's all about fun and learning.
Before either can speak, the old Camel pitches to the right in a loop around the farm below, traveling at around 5000 feet above the ground. Everything below looks like they belong a model from a t rain set. Lizzie momentarily looks down, feeling like she is about to feint, focuses attention Liam who appears to be loving the challenge.
So is there any special tactic, or training before tonights match ?
Nothing more so than previous training. We now have a replica ring setup in the barn. So especially Chris being an aerial assassin, I will concentrate on how to ground his aerial style. But in saying that Chris is no slouch on technical ability either. So maybe just wear him down, try some submission style move on his legs, slow the pace down a little.
What about just using your size and strength advantage ?
Against these aerialist, or cruiser weights, my size and weight is more of a disadvantage. They move quicker, more agile and somewhat more flexible. I just have to time my moves a bit better. Wear them down before I pull out the big guns so to speak. Well time is up Lizzie, ready to take a leap of faith ?
With a puzzled look on her face, the Solid Core legend looks at the wrestler concerned for a moment. In the blink of an eye, she is unhooked from the safety harness and pushed from the wing. The last thing heard from her is a shriek sounding like " OHHH SHIIITTTT ! "Laughing for a moment, Liam soon jumps and catches up with Lizzie attaching her to his harness before pulling the rip chord. Both land unceremoniously, but safely in a paddock not far from the house where Liam helps Lizzie to her feet, and then as casually as getting up from a recliner, says, " I'm hungry ... lets get a taco ".

Scene 1:
Pyro is seen in his dojo after the attack by Akatsuki. Some of the workers are busy cleaning up the blood as others are moving the coffins around. Daisuke comes walking in, a look of concern on his face as he stands next to Pyro.
Daisuke: What a vile act by those three. Are you going to be alright?
Pyro doesn't move, his eyes overlooking the bloody sight.
Pyro: I will be. I have some farmer as an opponent this week, so I should have little problem. He has yet to win since his debut so I have little worry.
Daisuke nods his head, understanding where the focus of Pyro lies.
Daisuke: What if Akira shows up during the match?
Pyro: I can not waste my time thinking about minor things like that. If I divide my attention, Liam will have the advantage. If I want to prove to Akira and the Akatsuki that I do not need to become that demon to win, I need to keep my full attention on the match.
Daisuke: You know I am concerned about all this. I mean, twice since your return you have succumb to the demon. And Akira is right. You have come out on top when you were that way.
The Canadian Shinobi turns to Daisuke, a look of disdain written across his face at Daisuke.
Pyro: Would you rather I turn Rogue again, and start causing strife in EVPW? Do you expect my resolve to be that weak?
Chris Pyro turns back to the work being done in his dojo.
Pyro: I thought you would have more faith in me, Daisuke. After all, you were the one to put me on this path. Why the sudden belief that I can not maintain it?
Daisuke: I am sorry, my lord. But, as your friend, I must speak the truth.
Pyro pats his elderly helper on the shoulder. He then turns to leave.
Pyro: I must begin preparing for my match. This time, I would you to come with me and stay at ring side. I trust Liam to follow the rules. But there is no telling what the Akatsuki will do. I will need an extra set of eyes.
Daisuke turns and bows.
Daisuke: Of course.
Daisuke then begins to follow Pyro.
Scene 2:
The Canadian Samurai is seen in his locker room. He has on his black pleather, knee length shorts, black boots and kickpads and his hachimaki with the word Samurai written in it. Lizzie Morna is standing next to him, ready to interview the Canadian Warrior.
Lizzie: I am here with the Canadian Samurai, Chris Pyro as he prepares for his match against Liam O'Donnell. Now, earlier I interviewed him and he seemed to blow you off as some straight forward flyer.
Before Lizzie could even reach the actual question, Pyro cuts her off.
Pyro: That is his first mistake. I have taken pride in the fact that I am a straight up wrestler. I very rarely take to the air. If he is so confident in his abilities and does not pay enough attention to his opponent that he writes them off so easily, before he knows it he will be picking up his teeth and wondering what hit him with me. I am a striker. I am a wrestler.
Lizzie: Until recently, you were on a losing streak. Your opponent this week is looking to end it by beating you. What will happen if he does win?
Pyro looks at her, and laughs a little to himself.
Pyro: That will not happen. Liam O'Donnell thinks everything is a joke. I take this very seriously. And look at our two careers. While yes, the last few weeks have been less than desireable, but I will not let defeat enter my mind. I will beat this Irish drunkard into submission and show him why he is on such a losing streak.
As the final words leave the Shinobi's mouth, he walks out of the locker room. Daisuke walks past and bows to Lizzie as he tries to keep up with the focused Samurai.

As the two wrestlers take the opposite corners, Batilda checks each in turn for any illicit weapons. Remembering the ignorance from Liam in the previous match she warns him any infringement this time will be met with force. Satisfied, Batilda brings both face to face as the Norse Goddess goes over the rules, making sure both understand. Liam and Chris nod in acknowledgement while not daring to take an eye off their foe. Taking a step back the behemoth of a women signals the bell and both square off in the center of the ring. With neither knowing there opponent, both being alert and wary, they circle like a vulture watching it's intended prey in a desert. With barely any difference between the superstars, they lock up in a classic collar and elbow grapple. Chris gets the first advantage, moving his arms to lock Liam in a wrist lock above the head of the Irish man. Liam counters this with a wrist lock of his own above the head of the Canadian ninja. Being fresh in the match Pyro easily counters this by balling his hand into a fist and throws several stiff punches to the ribs. Following the release in tension, Chris grabs the arm of Liam and twists while moving behind his opponent, turning the move into a well timed hammer lock. Both men evenly matched, strength, height there size. The only difference this could wield is the agility and experience of Chris.
And he seems more focused on fighting some sort of inner demon.
One that is struggling day after day for control. Lets hope good will prevail over the madness.Holding the wrist at an angle, The Resurrected Warrior pulls upwards on the arm applying immediate pressure to the shoulder and wrist causing The Irish Bastard to cringe in discomfort. Pushing backwards, before lunging forwards, Liam is able to get relief from the hold only to have Chris drag him backwards and with ease wrap his arms around the neck into a head lock. Squeezing with his biceps, while using his forearm to grind at the face, Pyro kicks at the back of the knee sending O'Donnell to the mat causing more extreme pressure on the neck and face. Batilda hurries over and double checks, moving her hands to the neck, satisfied that it is not a choke lets the move continue. Realizing one hand is free, the Belfast Brawler squirms his fingers to get orientation of where his hand is, feeling the rubble with his finger tips, Liam struggles at first but manages to free both arms. Having an idea what his foe is attempting, The Canadian Samurai fights against the hold, but finds both hands twisting his jaw, till he breaks the headlock. Out of no where, Liam brings both feet up catching Canadian in a head scissors. Chris and Liam both showing there ability, not only to apply a quick submission style move to wear down there opponent, but also the ease in which they can counter it.You know how much I would pay to be between someones legs ?I don't want to know you sick pervert. Come on now, lets get on with the match, I personally want to see how this battle will continue with so even;y matched wrestler, you swear they were almost twins. Rolling into the head scissors, Chris then using his agility and strength to push off the mat, then using his arms for balance head stands. From this position, Pyro is able to twist his body and bring a knee to the chest of Liam knocking the air from his lungs. Rolling to the side, The Dragon of Toronto gathers his thoughts, runs forward then at the last possible second flips to land back first to the sternum of the rookie from Ireland. Batilda seeing the possible pin cover runs over, drops to the canvas and slams her hand down for almost a two count, but Liam kicks out of the cover. Pushing off the stained canvas, Chris takes to a knee while Liam rolls clear to get his breathe back. Following a yell from both superstars they charge one and other, but The Canadian Samurai clearly being better with his feet lets loose a blur of left and right kicks leaving Liam stunned as a hail of blows find their mark to the ribs and kidney area. Ending the assault is a shin to the side of the head as Chris took the opportunity of his opponent dropping to knee, jumped up and literally unleashed hell while almost taking Liams head off. My GAWD ... That has to be it, there is no way any one ... ANY ONE could recover from a move like that. Hell, there is even a trickle blood coming from the corner of Liams mouth. The experience now showing, as Pyro begins to take him out to the proverbial wood shed.Tbc Chris. contract
