" Chris Hartman, welcome. "
A video package starts playing and these words are heard muttered by someone in slightly accented English, made harder to understand due to the person breathing heavily. Very little can be understood about who or where the person is because of low lighting. The only object visible is a candle burning in the middle of the screen.
" Welcome to a rather interesting predicament that will plague every grain of your existence from this moment forth. Hartman, the disappointment of defeat is nothing compared to the sheer agony of inglorious exile; being banished from the memory of the casual wrestling fan, restricted to a few appearances only in passing on wrestling DVDs and documentaries and an entry into the world of obscurity. "
Two more candles get light on either side of the screen almost magically, and it can now be seen that the person speaking is Bishamon, who appears to be in a dimly lit dojo of sorts. A slow Oriental tune begins to play in the background as Bishamon stares at the camera and begins to speak again.
" I know this for a fact, Chris. I have been through more punishment than a human body has any right withstanding but what hurts more is the ignominy of being talked about in the past tense, often ridiculed and disgraced for making the wrong choices in this business. The stabs in the back have healed but the trauma to the brain hasn't and this is where you come in, Chris. "
The music in the background begins to increase in beat as a couple of more candles light up by themselves on either side of the Japanese wrestler. Bishamon picks up a paintbrush of sorts from the floor and dabs it in a mixture he's placed next to him after which he continues his address.
" Hartman, do you have any discernible idea what is about to happen to you on this week's Saturday Night Knockout? No, don't even answer that. You DON'T. You've never been in the ring with an opponent that's capable of inflicting pain like I am. You've never met an adversary who has the same disdain for the human anatomy like I do. And Chris Hartman, let me make this clear to you. You have NEVER experienced first-hand the reason why fans all around the world clamour to see me perform. "
A rhythmic drum pattern accompanies the ever-quickening music and more candles begin to light up as the camera begins to pan out extremely slowly. Bishamon brings the paintbrush to his face and starts to apply red facepaint all the while not breaking his trance-like stare at the camera." The outcome of the encounter does not bother me. The consequences of said outcome does not hold any value to me either. I NEED this opportunity to make a point. What I care about is one thing pure and simple; hurting you. I want to hurt you, Chris and it's not because I have something against you on a personal level. I want to hurt you so that everyone can see that pain can be a catalyst for betterment. Pain can make you a better man if you channel it towards the right direction. Unfortunately for you, this direction shows itself only once your body has been ripped apart and you have problems trying to determine which orifice to excrete out of. In the deepest depths of your pain, you will find your salvation and I, mine. "
The music stops abruptly as the Japanese grappler stands up and throws the paintbrush away. The freshly applied face-paint begins to glisten in the candlelight and this becomes all the more evident when the camera begins to pan back in again. " Pain is my friend and you'll find out just how symbiotic such a relationship can be soon enough. You are the Guinea pig and I am the scientist testing my hypothesis of punishment on your soul. Chris Hartman, I wish you the best of luck. You'll need it. To survive. "
The Japanese aberration walks away and the candles now begin to go off on their own, one by one. The same slow music that played at the start of the video begins to play again. Only one candle remains lit now. The flame begins to waver and out of nowhere, Bishamon comes back into view. He slides towards the candle and spits black mist, thereby extinguishing it.
The segment ends with maniacal laughter playing in the background along with the Oriental music as the show goes to a commercial break.

John Blackwood checks both competitors for foreign objects as Bishamon stares intently at his physically larger opponent. Hartman, meanwhile doesn't seem to take much notice of him or does a mighty good job pretending as the referee, seemingly satisfied with the results of his frisking, calls for the bell and we're under way in this one. The crowd is cheering for the returning Kamikaze warrior as is to be expected, but again, Hartman doesn't seem a least bit affected by this. He's got his game face on by the looks of it, and he lunges forward towards Bishamon, initiating a classic collar-and-elbow tie-up. Hartman forces the Japanese wrestler's neck towards his chest area before slightly twisting around and applying a side headlock which Bishamon tries to break out of by pushing the Nevada resident towards the ropes. Hartman re-bounds and extends his right shoulder forward towards his opponent and catches Bishamon flush on the side of the chest, causing him to drop to the mat. Chris Hartman sees a chance to take advantage of his prone opponent and jumps over his boy, before bouncing off the ropes again. However, Bishamon was evidently playing possum as he's back on his feet already and leapfrogs his oncoming competitor. Hartman is caught by surprise and continues on his path before hitting the ropes. On his way back towards the EVPW veteran, he decides to extend his right arm in an attempt to hit a clothesline but Bishamon seems to have done his homework and ducks out of the way at the last second. Hartman turns and gets caught with a stiff kick to the gut which doubles him over. The Japanese aberration looks to strike while the iron is hot and puts his arm underneath Hartman's head. He tries to flip him over whilst performing a belly to belly throw in an effort to execute a Northern Lights suplex but Hartman stops this with a rising knee to the abdomen. It's Bishamon's turn to slump to the mat now as Hartman looks to seize momentum early on in this match.
Ray White: This contest should be interesting. Bishamon hasn't been an active competitor over the last two years while Chris Hartman looks to have all the tools to make it big in the industry. Both these like to work a stiff, technical style accentuated with power moves, but Jimmy, I think there's no doubting who has the upper hand when it comes to brute raw power.
Jimmy Pate: Well, Chris Hartman is the better physical specimen, no doubt about that. However, we've seen Bishamon come back from seemingly insurmountable odds against the likes of Sycho Sam and lets not forget his battles with Metal Dragon and Matt Olivera , true legends of the sport. I think he'll be able to use his experience to counter the ring rust and the power handicap he faces tonight.
Chris Hartman moves to the feet of his slouched over enemy and begins to aim vicious kicks towards the hamstring area of the death match specialist's right leg, each one resulting in 'thwacks' of increasing decibel levels being heard. Bishamon drops to one knee as a direct consequence of the punishment Hartman is dishing out and this opens up the opportunity for Hartman to extend his right leg back to the maximum possible extent before making it right sharply towards Bishamon's face. His knee makes full contact with the Japanese wrestler's nose and is the case often when a knee bone meets a nose, the nose loses. Bishamon crumbles to the mat and immediately begins to the clutch his face. He thrash his legs around rapidly in an effort to lessen the pain while Hartman moves begins to aim stiff kicks to the side of his body. After a series of about seven kicks, Hartman moves swiftly to Bishamon's head and pulls him up to a standing position before applying a front facelock on his him. He drapes Bishamon's right around him ,pops his hips and gets Bishamon in an upside-down suspended position while holding onto him tightly. Hartman manages to maintain the position for a good four seconds before finally falling backwards to the mat, thereby executing a crisp standing vertical suplex. Bishamon goes down hard on the mat and feels his back but his American opponent isn't planning on giving him any respite as he quickly goes for a pin. He has his opponent's arms pinned to the mat but Bishamon raises a shoulder an instant after Blackwood's hand hits the mat for one.
Jimmy Pate: Chris Hartman seems to be in control right now.The knee to the face was vicious and I think Hartman is intent on getting this one done and dusted as soon as he can.
Chris Hartman isn't overtly dejected by his failure to secure victory in his first attempt and raises Bishamon's head up before ramming his knee into the top of his spinal cord. He holds Bishamon's head in his hand and tries to twist it out of shape. The Kamikaze Warrior looks to get out of his predicament and perhaps realising this, Hartman switches from the rather crude 'head-twister' to a more orthodox reverse chin lock. Bishamon is in pain and the referee checks if he wants to throw the towel in as Hartman has a grimace on his face, brought upon the force he's exerting on his opponent. Bishamon screams something garbled which Blackwood construes as a 'NO!' and lets the the match continue. The Japanese wrestler begins to clap his hands together in an effort to garner support from the audience and they respond positively, clapping along with him. In fine babyface style, Bishamon battles back to his feet and begins to punch Hartman in the stomach. Hartman is unable to keep the reverse chin-turned side lock in place and lets go for just a moment and that's all Bishamon needs. He stuffs his head under Hartman's right arm and this time, executes the Northern Lights Suplex to perfection. He opts for a bridge and Hartman kicks out at two. Both men lie exhausted as the crowd in the Solid Core Gym shows their appreciation for the action thus far with a smattering of applause.
Ray White: Good work by Bishamon in hitting that Northern Lights suplex but can he take advantage? Time will tell as to who gets the upper hand in this intense match-up. Even-Stevens up until right now.
