Opening Match - Singles
Hailey "The Menace" Barras vs. Amanda Hallsworth
Hailey and Amanda made their way out to an excited EVPW crowd as the night began. Within second of the matches start, Amanda had already pounced her foe, backing her literally into a corner. She rained down on the newcomer with vicious blows to the head, astounding her as the referee stepped in to pull Amanda off and give her opponent a chance. As Amanda pushed him aside and stepped in to continue the assault on Barras, she was caught offguard by a cheapshot of brass knuckles, laying her out in the ring. Hailey was disqualified, but not upset as she smiled and shrugged before heading to the back, leaving the former Unsung Glory champion loopy. After help to her feet, Amanda made a rush after the vixen, chasing her backstage as the night started off in a most interesting way.
Winner: No Contest
Match 2 - Triple Threat
Tristan Lyon vs. Ravel Draken vs. Crash Barley
Tonight's 3-way dance was loaded with excitement... even more than expected. All competitors dismantled one another early on, throwing everything in their repetoire at the others in order to take the advantage with no one man taking a solid lead. It was late in the match that things took a turn when Tristan Lyon was taken out of the action and then put through the stretcher he was being carried out on! It was in this moment that Ravel sacrificed his body in the sake of putting his opponent out, leaving himself hurt and disadvantaged to his remaining foe. Crash was able to make the most of things as the match went on, punishing Ravel Draken before lifting him into the air and taking him down with the Crashed for the 1...2...3.
Winner: Crash Barley
Match 3 - 'Outside The Box' match
David Payne vs. Metal Dragon
The action between these two superstars quickly spilled out of the ring and into the backstage area, both trying to find a way to get one up on each other. Eventually the action spilled back into the ring, the momentum swinging between both stars before Metal Dragon was finally able to capitalise. After rocketing David Payne with a Dragon Fire through the announce table, MD managed to get to his feet first and steer his opponent to the ring. After sliding him back into the ring David Payne tried to fight back, gaining a little momentum before Metal Dragon brought it to a screeching halt. He managed to immobilise David Payne long enough to enable him to hit the Tiger Driver '85 before covering him for the three count and the win.
Winner: Metal Dragon
Match 4 - No DQ
Alex Stall vs. Gnarfflinger The Butcher
The match started off as a very even contest with both men hitting big set piece moves on each other. The action spilled out of the ring where the two behemoths continued to battle until Alex Stall was able to put the bigger man down long enough to be able to climb back into the ring and mount the turnbuckle. He waited for Gnarfflinger to get to his feet before taking to the air, nailing his opponent with a Lionheart. As Alex hit the move, the Butcher was able to counter with a half flapjack slam onto the concrete, laying both men out. The referee's count reached ten before either man could reach their feet.
Winner: No Contest
Pre-Main Event - Tag Team
Agent Tran and Bret Baxton vs. El Conajo Blanco and Darius Maxwell
This match started out with a big surprise in the beginning. With KingBear and Vladimir Strife being the competitors before Agent Tran and Bret Baxton came out to the ring and took them out. The surprises didn’t stop there with this match because before Darius Maxwell could even make it to the ring, Bret Baxton and Agent Tran jumped yet another EVPW Star. El Conajo Blanco couldn’t do much in the ring before the match started considering he was layed out with a steel chair before the bell even rang.
The match continued on with Bret and Tran laying into El Conajo Blanco, barely giving him any breathing room aside from the few assaults he was able to put into motion. However, the late arrival of Maxwell set Tran and Baxton into a frenzy and they quickly attacked the ref before a brawl broke out in the ring between the four wrestlers. Tran and Baxton took Maxwell out with a sledge hammer they found under the ring, and before they could continue their work on ECB, Trix pulled him out of the ring, cursing at the two ‘Bad Guys’ of the match as they celebrated in ring. As the ref came to, he signaled the end of the match before passing out on the canvas.
Winner: No Contest
Main Event - Tattoo Needle Deathmatch
Rhaps vs. Human Wreckingball
The Main Event of the night featuring two great competitors and two great friends, Rhaps and Human Wreckingball. It started out quickly, with neither man wanting to receive a tattoo of the others choice. Knowing Rhaps it would most likely be something to do with SIC, now HWB wouldnt want that ruining his bad ass image so he did everything he could to beat the Rhapsitastic one. The match went back and forth for a good while, Rhaps jabbing HWB multiple times with the needle and HWB stabbing Rhaps, only once. But once was enough to nearly cripple the Rhapsitastic ones arm for the rest of the night. Doctors assured us Rhaps would be ok, but said that the needle probably hit a nerve hard to cause so much pain.
The match ended a bit after that incident when Rhaps pulled an amazing Safety Bomb to nearly finish HWB off, keeping him down for a ten count. We here at EVPW cant wait to see the torture the big man goes through when Rhaps picks his tattoo.
Winner: Rhaps
