Stone vs. Stall

It had been a while since Kyle had been in a wrestling ring in a federation and an even longer time since he had been in a wrestling ring in such a small indy federation. The camera shows a bill of sorts pinned onto the door of Kyle Stone's locker room.

The camera shows the crowd of 1,100 sitting in the arena. Chattering away about the matches of the night and God knows what else. Kyle stands behind the curtain. He puts a boombox on the floor and presses play before sliding it as far down the ramp as he can. The crowd continues to chatter as the lights dim and an Orange and blue Superman sign appears on the 2 20 inch TVs. The crowd begins to quiet down as many people "Shhh" each other. Superman's Dead by Our Lady Peace plays on the boombox.

Alone, Alone, Alone, Alone, Alone, Alone, Alone, ALONE!

The music isn't very loud, but loud enough to be heard. As the word "Alone" is repeated, Kyle takes a handful of Caps from his pocket and the boombox remote from the other. He then nods to two stage hands, and they light the two bottle rockets. As the last "Alone" is said. Kyle presses power on his remote, turning the boombox off, and whips the caps on the ground creating an explosion, just as the fireworks go off. Almost immidiately after, his theme song comtinues to play, but now quite loudly over the P.A. system as Kyle emerges from behind the curtain and throws his arms into the air, much to the cheers of the crowd.

is it in my head
we'll just laugh instead
you worry about the weather and
whether or not you should hate

Kyle is wearing an orange t-shirt with a blue japanese dragon design starting from the top right and going down towards the left side, he wears an orange hat with the same blue dragon design on the left side of the visor, he wears beige cargo shorts and orange and blue Converse All-Stars.

Lizzie: The following contest is scheduled to be a Glass Table match. The only weapons that can be used are Glass and Wooden tables. To win the match, a wrestler must put his opponent through one of the glass tables.

JP: What a show we've had here tonight, and this match will surely not disappoint.

Lizzie: Making his way to the ring, standing 6 foot tall and weighing in tonight at 2 hundred and 22 pounds, currently residing outside San Fransisco, Kyle.... Stone!

Ray: You know what a scruffy beard means, JP?

JP: What's that Ray?

Ray: It means he likes it rough in bed.

JP: Oh Ray, I should've seen that one coming shouldn't I have.

The rest of the song continues to play as Kyle makes his way to the ring. He slaps as many fans' hands as he can, and he makes sure to get both sides of the ramp and all around the ring area. He finally stops and hops up onto the apron. He turns around and throws his arms in the air as the crowd continues to cheer. He hops over the top rope and jumps up onto the middle turnbuckle and throws his arms into the air. He repeats this on all four corners, while throwing his hat and his t-shirt to the crowd, before finally warming up. He pulls on the ropes and then bounces around in the ring, from one side to the other. He stretches all his muscles and then stands watching the entrance, waiting for Alex Stall.

JP: Kyle hasn't wrestled in quite some time, he's here because he worked with King Bear and Hyper Elf during his time at ASWF. Interesting, it also says here he was Chief of Police in Los Angeles.

Ray: Oooh I love a man in uniform.

JP: I believe this is his first wrestling match in over a year, maybe two. I hope he doesn't have a lot of ring rust or Alex Stall will rip him apart.

Ray: Alex Stall, what a guy, he could wrestle me any time he wants

[Alex Stall]

After about another minute of stretching, Kyle starts bouncing from foot to foot and looking moderately impatient at his opponent's tardiness. Just then the lights are shut off and the sound of a few wooden objects being set down near the entrance clear the now dead silence. All of a sudden the sound of a quick set of power chords hits the little P.A system and two strobe lights, which were just placed on the ground near the entrance kick on and illuminate the curtain and T.Vs. The T.Vs are now showing a matching clipping show of rain on asphalt in black and white, the only color showing is the purple in the hair of the man sitting with his back against a lightpole. Just then the T.Vs kick out and the words to the song come in clearly over the music in the near silence of the crowd.

As the line repeats, the curtain is thrown open and the raven haired cruiserweight steps out in front of the strobes. He is dressed in new clothes, a pair of black cargo pants with purple lining and a matching sleeveless shirt that says "The Insane Angel" across it in a renaissance style font. His feet are covered with black and purple Chuck Taylor's while his hands are covered by his signature fingerless gunner gloves. He lets his eyes show bright over the crowd as he takes off running down to the ring, slapping hands along the way.

"And his opponent, weighing in tonight at one hundred and eighty nine pounds. He hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Insane Angel, Alex Stall!"

Alex slides head first into the ring and pushes himself up, looking over the crowd that is now on their feet cheering wildly. He drops to his knees and looks out upon them, allowing them to cheer to their hearts content with his arms out to the side. The smile on his face is almost priceless as he stands up and removes his shirt and reveals his well toned torso, causing the females in the crowd to cheer even louder. He tosses the shirt into the crowd before turning to his opponent and offering his hand in respect.

Kyle steps forward and shakes Stall’s hand. They both take a step back and begin to circle each other. The bell rings as they both come in with a shoulder and elbow lock up. Kyle quickly turns it into a headlock, but Stall pushes Kyle off, towards the ropes. Stone hits the ropes and comes running back, but The Insane Angel jumps high and over him. Kyle bounces off the ropes on the other side as Alex Stall was just turning around Kyle floors him with a clothesline. Kyle smiles and offers Stall a hand up, but instead the Insane Angel grabs his hand, pulls him face first into the mat and turns it into an armbar of sorts. He throws his free arm back desperately trying to grab Alex Stall’s head. But Stall sits back, making it impossible for Stone, and at the same time pulling harder on his arm. Stone tries his strength by pushing up with his free arm, and then in one swift motion, rolls over knocking Stall of his back and breaking the armbar. Stall is quick to his feet. As he rushes towards Kyle, he rolls to the ropes and pulls himself back up, only to receive a dropkick, knocking him out of the ring.

JP: Well I thought Kyle would have the upper hand here, but I seem to be wrong as Stall shows us all what it means to be the Insane Angel.

Ray: He’s my angel…he’s so dreamy…

JP: Ray? Ray! Snap out of it and call the match.

Stone circles the ring as Stall waits for him to get back in. Kyle makes a move towards the mat as the Insane Angel rushes towards him. But instead of entering the ring, Kyle hits Stall through the middle ropes with a half spear and then enters the ring and floors him with another clothesline.

OOC: Sorry this is short, I've been really busy the past few days trying to get ready for my trip. I don't really believe this fully demonstrates my RP ability. It's all I could muster given the time.

[Alex Stall]

As Kyle follows through with the clothesline, he steps past Alex and quickly whips around in time to see Alex use the momentum to lift his feet back and kip up to his feet again. Stone steps forward to catch him off guard but catches a harsh thrust kick to the jaw from Stall, causing him to slam back first into the mat and lay there for a moment dazed. Alex on the other hand leans forward and lets his hair fall into his face before flipping it back and watching Kyle like a hawk. Stone on the other hand decides to kip up like Stall did, catching him lightly off guard. Stall aims a standing dropkick at his now standing opponent but Kyle spins around and catches Alex in mid air, aiming him down into a brutal backbreaker as he drops to one knee and pushes him down harshly. The Angel bounces off of Stone's knee, hitting stomach first on the mat and holding his back with one hand. Kyle sees an opportunity to get some revenge by dropping his knee into Alex's back, trapping his arm before torquing his leg around and wrapping it around his bent arm. Stall fights the inevitable as Stone locks his leg around his arm and slides his own arm into the opening and into his elbow. Stone then wraps his other leg around his ankle and squeezes, bending Alex's elbow out of place with his own arm as the fulcrum. Alex lets out a yell of pain as Kyle rolls back and across Alex's free arm, trapping it under him and pulling the other arm off the ground while giving him the freedom to apply more pressure. Alex tries to move out of the submission but with every movement he feels more pain course through his arm and shoulder blades.

"Wow, this Kyle Stone is really proving himself today! That submission is not only innovative but also seems painful as can be!"

"But as we know, Alex is a pretty technical guy. He should have no problem getting away from this one! I don't know who to root for though, both men are dead sexy AND highly skilled athletes!"

Alex finally goes for a daring escape attempt, kicking off the ground and forcibly rolling Kyle over, catching his head with his other arm under the chin and applying pressure of his own. The now modified bow and arrow hold breaks Kyle's grip and causes him to push off the mat to get Alex off of him. Alex moves instead to a standing position, pulling Kyle by the jaw. Alex leans over with Kyle leaning back over his own back. The Insane Angel then hops up and drops to his knees, hitting Kyle with a modified backbreaker and causing them both to end up on their hands and knees. Alex sits up on his knees, taking a moment to catch his breath and crack his neck. He fails to realize Kyle though, who rolls forward to a kneeling position and rushes at him. The crack from Stone's foot causes the fans to cringe as Alex slumps to the mat from the Shining Wizard. Kyle flips onto his stomach and pushes casually up to his feet, looking down at his opponent who is on the brink of unconsciousness. Kyle kicks Alex towards the ropes, rolling him under them and onto the apron before grabbing the top rope. Stone plays to the crowd for a moment before pulling back on the rope and launching himself over top and landing deftly on the mats below. He lifts Alex into a sitting position and gives him a quick jab in the jaw followed by a deadly hook to the jaw, continuing his daze and making him slump back onto the apron. Stone takes a minute away to drag one of the glass tables towards Alex, preparing the end of this match early.

"Oh no, I don't think Alex is in the right state of mind, if he is in one at all, to stay in this match! My poor sexy Angel is going to be slammed through that glass and taken out of this match...."

~::Jimmy Pate::~
"You know as well as I do that Alex has come back from far worse than this! I bet he's just letting Kyle think he has the edge while plotting an insane comeback."

As if by cue, Alex looks over at Kyle like he's perfectly fine and spits some blood from a cut on the inside of his mouth onto the mats behind Stone. Alex then hops up to the mat and grabs the top rope, looking back at Kyle, who is just in range for his plan. Kyle steps back and looks happy at his placement of the table, stepping back to turn to Alex who is perched and ready for him. Alex hops up to the middle rope and launches himself backwards, turning while flipping into a beautiful and well aimed Corkscrew Moonsault. He slams right into Stone, knocking them both violently into the metal guard rail and causing a few fans to scoot back quickly as the rail is shoved back a few feet. Both men lay on the hardwood floor where the rail once stood, barely moving and listening to the cheers of the fans. A chant starts slowly and raises to the gym being filled with the sound of "That Was Awesome.... That Was Awesome!" and clapping. Both men seem to feel a boost of energy from the crowd, knowing it was cheering for the high spot and neither man in particular. Kyle moves slowly to his hands and feet, a very evident bruise forming on his back from slamming into the barricade as Alex moves up to his knees with blood rolling down both arms from the sheer impact of his forearms and the metal. Kyle moves to his knees as well and both men smile to each other, running almost purely on excitement and adrenaline from a good match so far.
