Actually, rape does happen in the animal kingdom. Chimps, apes and Dolphins have all been documented committing rape, though it's hard to completely say it because we can't prove whether the other animal was willing or not. We only know that they struggle during sex, that the other seems unwilling and in the case of dolphins, they'll even pin the female in a corner before having intercourse with her and even take turns doing so.
And if those don't constitute it enough, there is always something a bit worse when you're talking about the animal kingdom: in this instance, traumatic insemination. It's pretty much as it sounds, only 50x worse. The males of certain species have barb-like penis's which they use to actually stab into the female's body and inject their semen that way, which can even kill the woman. So, in a way, ya know... they're kind of raped to death.
